Low price, simple, easy to book and excellent customer service. They will pick up and drop off to airport as you demand. Definitely recommend to everyone, I will use it again. Heaps better than car rental companies.

Smooth and efficient process, car model matched advertisement. Car needs some maintenance, but still ok. Overall great experience.

Carhood upfront seemed a little too good to be true. The price point was awesome. The service was great - staff were friendly and helpful. There was no real barriers to the transaction and I love the concept of taking car sharing to rentals.

Only reason it's not 5 stars is the distance to the Melbourne airport from the car park, it would be ace to have that communicated (only 10-15 minutes, though I was on a delayed flight, and felt a bit in the dark about the time frame for arrival).

Would and have recommended this service to a friend in Brisbane already. Will use again.

No fuss, best price, you won’t regret it!

Good service once we got the car, dissapointed that the office was closed when we arrive at 10 pm, even though a 10pm pick up had been requested.

unfortunately the car Id booked months in advance was changed to one that was very uncomfortable to sleep in.
Hopefully next year when I come down for the Phillip Island Historics youll have something that the seats fold down flat in.
Everything else was fine.

Easy, straightforward process with prices so cheap you won't use a traditional rental company again! Free pick up and drop off to the airport so transfers aren't a problem. Staff are also very friendly.

It was the worst ever experience with a car rental company anywhere in the world. The telephone number provided for airport pickup to go to the rental company was not reachable. I had to wait 2 hrs to be picked up from the airport and that was also only possible after I got in touch with Rentalcars.com from whom I had originally made the booking.

Would never recommend anyone to use Carhood.

On-line booking straightforward.
Price was competitive.
Airport to depot transfer went as scheduled.
Administrative procedures were fast.
Vehicle provided was modern and clean.
Only disappointment is that you don't operate in Townsville which is my next destination.

Pick up from airport was made with minimal delay - 5 minutes from call. Very polite driver. Car paperwork took about 10 minutes from arrival at depot. Car was excellent - above quality of original booking.
Drop off was seamless. In and out and back at airport inside 15 minutes. I would use them again.

The car itself was fine. Sadly we got a parking ticket which we tried to contest. We informed carhood of this when we returned the car and they kept our bond. We sent numerous emails requesting the parking ticket was put into our name so we could contest it but Carhood did not do this. We have also emailed numerous times asking for an update on whether they are going to pay the fine and refund us the difference between the fine amount and the deposit. The fine was issued over a month ago and to date they have not paid it. We are very concerned that this will have an additional cost to us with no responses from Carhood at all. Disgusting communication.

I had to spend about $30 on a taxi to get to the car, I was not aware of the after hours procedure until a couple of days before collecting the car. I booked a gps which was not in the car which meant I had to pay for roaming data to use google maps.

Staff were excellent. Car was more than satisfactory
