Canada-US Tax filing expertise
I relocated from Canada (Canadian citizen) to the US as part of a company move in 2013. My taxes were done by one of the large multi-national firms as part of the relocation. I've been searching for a knowledgeable and competent firm to do my US taxes with Canadian content (RRSP's, RESP's, bank accts) for several years and could never find anyone where I live that understood the US - Canada tax treaty thoroughly or that didn't want to charge huge fees to do the work. I fortunately found CBFPC via an internet search and they have gone above and beyond to do my US tax filings and redo some previous fillings done by others. Their knowledge of both the Canada and US tax requirements and recent changes is excellent and the support is second to none - especially in dealing with RRSP's and RESP's. If you have cross-border (US-Canada) tax filings they can be counted on to provide high quality professional service at a reasonable price.
