Our experience was awful. Took a laptop in to repair failed USB-C ports. They claimed they could micro-solder. After promising the repair would be done in a week, it was not. No call, nothing. That was the case every single time - a promise to call when the device was diagnosed, ready, when they couldn't repair it - no matter what juncture, a call never, ever came. We had to call each time.

Despite claiming they could do soldering, it appears they could not/would not do so for the USB-C ports. "That's a lot of work" was the specific response.

There's also the snarky, condescending tone they put out every time you engage with them, as if you are some ignorant person that should be spoken down to just for wanting to see the damage that wasn't repairable. We even heard one of their other employees complaining about our request to come get the laptop back in the background.

Or maybe it was the system board they ordered, wasn't the right one, and then had the gall to charge *us* the restocking fee for *their* messed up order.

Then again, maybe it was the difficulty we had getting the device back. It was always our fault that they couldn't fix it, or that us wanting to come back and get it was putting them out some way.

Of course you may also have issues with refunds - we did. We put a cash deposit down, then authorized a charge for the full repair. When they couldn't fix it, the owner literally had to ask for more time to go get cash out of the bank to refund us. Another promised call, another not received. Only after we called, multiple times (again with the ever-present "I'll call you back" that never comes), were we able to get our cash back.

But, the nightmare still wasn't over: the credit promised to our credit card never came. It was only after we disputed the charge with our CC company that they credit was finally issued.

We started this nightmare on 5/27/26. It finally ended today, 7/14/26. We still have a broken laptop.

I won't even discuss the time we dropped off an Apple Watch for a new battery, and how they couldn't even open the case to replace it.

Never again.

I called this shop before coming in and spoke with Shakeed/Shakeet (not sure of spelling). He told me he had a refurbished original iPhone 15 Pro Max screen in stock and said he could show it to me because it had very minimal scratching. That gave me confidence that I was getting a genuine refurbished original Apple display. When I arrived, he showed me the screen, it looked good, and I agreed to pay $199. The installation took about 20 minutes.

After repair, I noticed that the phone did not recognize the display as an original Apple component in Settings, which was not normal and raised concerns about what was actually installed. When I raised this issue to Shakeet he said "Oh you can just ignore that." Whatever....

About 20 minutes after leaving the shop and using my phone normally, half of the display turned completely white. The phone had not been dropped or damaged. I returned the very next morning 10am as soon as they opened and showed Shakeed the screen. He made big dramatic eyes at me and his first response was, "What did you do?" I said, "What do you mean, what did I do? Nothing. The screen just failed. I don't think this was worth 199!" He smiled, and said "Ok take a seat."

After 20 minutes he came back out and demanded, "Brother, you have to pay me $55 to do this repair because I think you dropped the phone as soon as you left here." I was STUNNED. Absolutely flabbergasted. The phone had NOT been dropped, and the screen had failed within about 20 minutes of installation.

At that point, I lost my temper and screamed, "Give me back my f______g phone! I'm taking it to Apple! Don't touch my phone! Give it back right now!" He continued insisting that I had dropped the phone, and I kept yelling, "Give me back my f______g phone! I did not f______g drop my phone!" I continued demanding my phone back until finally other staff members intervened.

Then without asking, they removed the refurbished original screen and installed a DIFFERENT display that they described as an OLED screen, but they still charged me the full amount I had originally paid for the refurbished APPLE screen. In other words, I paid for one product and left with a different one.

I am now disputing the $205 charge with my credit card company. A screen that fails within about 20 minutes should be covered under a repair warranty, not blamed on the customer. Instead of standing behind their work, I was accused of damaging my own phone WITHOUT ANY EVIDENCE, just a baseless accusation. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business.

Furthermore, like every phone repair kiosk on Venice or at the strip malls there are no prices listed anywhere. Huge red flag. You will get scammed if you come here.

Terry, was very polite and helpful he helped get rid of several viruses and also helpbme navigate my phone. I would recommend CPR in riverdale everytime. They're amazing.

The tech guys at CPR were awesome! I dropped in for a smartphone screen repair, they were courteous, told me what it would cost up front, fixed it while I waited to accommodate my work schedule, and were super helpful. Thanks a bunch, guys! Would recommend their guys without hesitation. Great service!

I took my cell to CPR Cell Phone Repair, the employee took a look at my cell phone and agreed that it could be repaired, he then went online and ordered the parts to repair my cell phone and said to me that the parts will arrive on Tuesday, 3/10/2026 and I ask the employee with CPR would he be able to repair the phone as soon as the parts arrived and he answered yes, I said to him that I need the cell phone for work that day and he said for me to come back Tuesday around 2pm. I returned to the CPR store Tuesday at 1:43 pm I took my phone inside and spoke with the CPR employee and said here's my phone did the parts arrived and he went to the back and came back and said yes the parts are here, ok I'll wait you said that you can fix the cell phone as soon as parts come in I have to be at work and he said to me that it was going to take a couple of days and I said that's not what you told me when you ordered the parts that I paid you for, CPR employee responded with a I don't care attitude. So I ask to credit my account back and I'll take it somewhere else, he said that CPR doesn't refund and I ask it's not on my receipt or stated in store No refund and he pointed to a written note taped on the desk, and I said that the note stats when repaired. I said to employee that I still have my phone and you haven't repaired or touched my phone. He got very arrogant with me, I ask for manager he said that the manager couldn't help me I ask for manager name and he gave me a name. I gave the CPR employee my phone to repair, I went back to retrieve my cell phone ask for a password there wasn't a password for the cell phone, the CPR employee is retaliating because I had gotten a Local Law officer involved.

manager not coming to the store because he may accidently come in contact with me. My manager with the IRS asks me to speak with CPR store manager or owner, no call as of today, Friday 3/20/2026.

I went in with an iPhone problem needing to restore my email. The agent did it for me in five minutes with no charge which saved the day for me.

If there as ever a store that deserves 0 stars this is it. My phone was not only not fixed properly but given back to me in worse condition with new problems. My screen they replaced lasted a few days and I had to send it to Samsung for a proper repair. I would never trust this store with my electronics.

Whoever says in their review that their repair took just 15 minutes is LYING. DO NOT COME HERE, unless you are ready to make multiple trips because their service is so sloppy that they don't do things right and even can damage your device. those 4 stars in GOOGLE reviews are MISLEADING. How such sloppy business can have 4 stars, the young people that work there are so nasty, they have that don't care attitude, and talk to you like they are talking to their parents or sth (However I clarify that I do not have any problem with the tall guy that is bald, he is kind). I went in to have a screen replaced, and 2 weeks after the fix I needed to use the frontal camera, to find out that there was something behind the glass covering the camera . Had to come back and get it fixed. Then when coming in to pick up my phone, this young dude had this awful attitude towards another person when I came in, she told me they put a refurbished battery when she paid for new, and when replacing the battery they broke the phone screen, replaced it but didn't tell her. It was really terrible the attitude this young person had, and the other young white fat guy is worse. This business should NOT have these reviews, DO NOT give your hard earned money to these sloppy people who do not know the appropriate attitude for running a customer facing business and have no work ethic.

Two weeks to replace a battery and they still couldn't do it. Then charged me $37 because they opened my phone, installed the battery they ordered, which was defective, in their words "new battery continuously bootlooping and only showing the Apple logo". Strongly suggest you find a cell repair shop that is capable and professional. This is neither

Dropped off iPad Air with issue related to charging. We were told 2-3 weeks for the requested repair. More than a month later the iPad was sitting on the bench, although we were told it was sent to the main facility. The young and irrelevant clerk told us that the iPad could not be repaired, and that the manager was unavailable. We picked it up and left. We then took it to our local Best Buy, where a diagnostic test showed no issues, and the charging problem was repaired in one and a half minutes. CRP, in addition to being incompetent they also lied to us. What a waste of time...! Never again.

Went here yesterday to see Carlos. He was GREAT! Fixed my phone less than an hour. I went back today to see him to fix another but was greeted by another guy just as helpful. Price is NOT cheap but here for great service. Repeat customer.

Run! Avoid this business at all costs, even if your provider sends you here.
My under a year old Samsung Galaxy 24 from T-Mobile developed a problem with the touchscreen. I brought it here in January of 2025 and was told that I had dropped it. My phone lives a charmed life as have all of my prior Smartphones in an Otterbox Defender case. I have never broken a screen apart from a flip phone 25 years ago. I had them replace the screen and they gave me a lifetime repair warranty. This morning, August 7 2025 I had the same problem with the phone and assumed it was a defective replacement screen. They had the phone for 2 hours, the store manager Ishmael told me that they would likely cover it and to come back in an hour or so. When I returned, they claimed I had corrosion from water intrusion. The phone has not been submerged in water in the 6 months since they last replaced it. The warranty as per him was now invalid. I paid for a second screen to get my phone clear of this business. Recommend you spread the word or at the very least avoid this business.

CPR Cell phone Repair Shop was my hero!

On 4/29/25, I called in distress and was given immediate answers to my concerns. I was impressed that I was given a prompt appointment that worked with my schedule, and the technician addressed all my problems. He was very kind and empathetic to my situation. He went above and beyond my expectations to assist in solving my urgent issues with my device. I was so relieved!

I was impressed to learn that they also specialize in fixing computers, laptops, and tablets, but I was told that they can fix basically any electronic device. I like knowing I can come to them for all my electronic needs. I highly recommend this repair shop.

I dropped off my HP laptop to have malware removed and the computer checked for other viruses. A day later I picked it up with a bill of good health. When I attempted to open the computer, I received the exact message as before and it was locked. I then contacted McAfee who spent 2 + hrs. cleaning and removing unwanted malware etc. Their professional tech. explained that CPR Cell Phone Repair had done nothing to irridicate the issues, and you charged me $160.00+. I have used your services in the past as referred by my cell phone carrier, but won't in the future. I'm sure there are honest repair companies around.

They were super unprofessional. Wouldn't return emails. Then when called and asked if they would change the repair request because they had no screens they changed it and said they couldnt fix it, phone had to be replaced. Which is a lie there a crack in top screen only phone works fine. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND LIE.

Apparently their website and stores are two different identities. Made appointment to get iPad 9 repaired. Drove all the way to the store to find out they do not repair them anymore. I was told the website is controlled by corporate and they have no control of its contents. Not a company I would trust if their website is not accurate to what the stores can actually do.

The service in the store was phenomenal. The supervisor was very knowledgeable and patient. I came in on New Years Eve, and they stayed to assure that my I-pad was fixed . Great customer service, and would refer them to any one who needs this service .

Like a fool, I had nothing backed up on my phone. My IPhone was burning through screens like crazy! Three in a week. Turns out the motherboard was faulty. ROE at CPR on the Grand Parkway in Richmond, diagnosed the issue and was a true professional through the whole process. My issues were pricey, and he actually felt bad charging me. He seems like a really honest guy and kept me informed throughout the whole process. I got my phone back and everything was good to go. Me and the iCloud are new friends now too. Took my Samsung in for repair. Told me $300 to replace screen. Final cost was $400. Samsung factory screen replacement is $269. Filed with BBB but no resolution.
