Cera care Buxton are very up and down depending who you get. Iâve had trouble before then it settles down right now itâs really not that great so I canât recommend them at all there are carers who come out with sexist remarks and who are very unprofessional and some are fabulous. The main problem seems to come from the office staff who change your visit time and carers without letting you know I
Am on time sensitive medication that must be taken 3 hours before bed so have my visit 6pm tidy however they came at 4 pm with n notification of the time change which is useless to me as I would have to be mi n bed by 7 pm certainly not great so I couldnât recommend them

Cera Care Grampian has provided excellent support to my relative. They go above and beyond and are always consistent in their delivery of support. The team providing support work well together and communicate well meaning that my relative is always getting the best care. They are attentive and highlight any issues that need to be resolved. My relative really appreciates the support and it provides me with great comfort knowing that the team are reliable and really care about what they are doing.

Communication is really good and I find this very helpful when I am working that I can read the reports regular on my phone and know exactly what's happening with my mum. Also when I phone ceracare they are always helpful.

This company swallowed up Allied Health Care Coventry whom were beyond expectations.
However since my last review the fitting of CCTV cameras revealed the truth. Some of which is not pretty.
The fact is that there are some staff who are absolutely exemplary in every respect. Others who are clearly not employed in the right theatre.
ANYONE employing this company or any other care company should in my opinion, fit CCTV covering every aspect of the person subject of the care package and the property. Failure to do so could render liable to theft neglect and much more besides.
One so called care giver was washing and cleaning out his car on my mothers drive whilst being paid to care for my mother which he ignored and did not do.
Management failed to investigate this and so many other matters. They are I believe swamped with so many complaints they no longer responded to complaints being made.
Five negligence complaints in one particular day and all went unanswered.
If you are using a key safe be certain to change the code weekly no matter how much pain this causes.
Failure to do so may result in unauthorised personal accessing your vulnerable personâs property and stealing therin.
Remove ALL items of jewellery and valuables before this and ANY other care company has access to your vulnerable persons home.
Make no mistake this company possesses a smattering of trusted remarkable care givers.
The others they employ are a stain on humanity.
Tread very very carefully and trust no one at all.

My husband receives care from Cera Care. The carers are all friendly and go above and beyond for my husband. They all do a fantastic job. Well done. They have a great app which is very informative on all aspect of the care provided.

point 2. Not be paid for trading until after 12 week probation but still expected to use my own fuel
Point 3 repeatedly mentioned my holiday dates. To be repeat out on shift on those dates
Point 4 my Cera pay app not working so I asked Branch Manager and she said it would be sorted, and it was.. But, my money is short by 2 weeks! When I raised this with the Branch Manager she said she would speak to whoever they need to and get it sorted.. this was on Monday the 7th October... I text her on the Thursday asking if she had spoken to whoever but I received no reply.. on the Friday of the same week I decided to go over to the branch and see what was happening.. when ingot there the Manager told me that the week had been "Hectic" and she hadn't made the call..I understand we are all busy etc but how do you make 1 weeks money stretch to 4 weeks?? When I said that I was handing the phone back I was asked to work the rest of the day.. I said no because I was already out of pocket.. they asked me to reconsider and I said no, primarily because I was made to feel that the Staff are not important, this was proved by no communication in regards to the Wages Situation.. this is on top of me having to provide my own phone charger because they didn't have one for the phone I was given.. I have spent the last 3 days being passed form
One department to another trying to resolve all these issues..i also spoke to one call handler who was rude... so to sum up my experience of this Care agency is, carers are not paid correctly, equipment for the role isn't provided and it now looks like I worked for free!! Plus holidays dates are ignored.. as is alternate weekends....so as of the 27th November I still have had no contact
From Cera Care.. so I would highly recommend avoiding this company, I would certainly ask questions about how this company is run....

I have been very impressed with the individualised care provided for my mum. The carers are very friendly and chatty with my mum. My mum likes to get up early and go to bed early so the carers try their best to accommodate her request to suit her preferences. My mum speaks very highly of her carers and is full of praise for how well they support her on a daily basis. We use the Ceracare app as a family so we can read the reports on the visits so we can monitor any issues mum might be having. We are also contacted by carers when necessary if there is something they feel we need to know. The communication is really good and reassures us that mum is safe and well.

Very professional, the carers are extremely helpful, punctual, nothing is too much trouble for them, in emergency they make every effort to come out early.
100% cannot fault the service.
I would have no hesitation recommending their service to anyone.

Constant change of carers there is no consistency. My mother has dementia and autistic traits and finds it very difficult when she doesn't have the same carers. We were promised she would have 3/4 consistent carers but this is not the case. She has had 9 different ones on 2 weeks!!
Often late or too early for medication to be taken.
Some of the carers are rude and do not offer a good standard of care. They have very few social skills.

Terrible service. Always late but the main issues are the carers and my co-coordinator lie constantly. I had to complain constantly about my carer damaging my hoover and I am still waiting for a refund and itâs been over a month and they are aware my Mum died recently. The carer lied and said she didnât do it and I am always being told someone will call me back and they donât. It is disgustingly and awful the way they have treated me. Do not go with these people as they are absolutely horrible and useless

Cera Care Grampian has provided care for my wife for the past few years, and except for the odd issues, which most of the times have been promptly sorted out by the branch management, the level of care and support has been on a high level. Both my wife and myself feel safe and comfortable round the carers, who are always very polite and helpful. I also find the Cera Care App to be a very useful tool for checking the schedules for carer visits , and also the reporting of issues from the carers.

All of these carers are truly, genuinely kind, caring professional & extremely good at what they do. They go over and above not only providing the upmost care for my dear mum but also will do anything to help the household including feeding our cats.My dear mum, is thriving with these guys. Who we have such a laugh with. They respect at all times, they are coming into my mums home and have the upmost of respect. They really are so genuinely caring and very rare to have such a great team of carers. Who are highly looked upin not only by the Srvice user she thr family but from the supervisor's, to the coordinator of the Aberdeen/grampian area right up to the head manager. Who all are extremely kind, supportive and friendly. Making this an extremely well partnership, which it should be. That from the head manager right the way through, everyone is kind and very approachable. We could not be more satisfied with the level of care the carers provide for my mum. Thank you to all.

Cera Care Grampian provided end of life care to my Dad, enabling us to keep him at home, in his own comfortable surroundings, which has been a comfort to all the family.
It was a great help to us in his final days, and allowed us to sit with him, knowing the physical side of his care was taken care of.
The carers who attended were lovely; respectful, professional and always asked if there was anything else they could do before leaving.
It made a difficult time easier for me, particularly as the office staff (Zoe McKessick) arranged it all, ever so quickly and efficiently.
