Cera care are absolutely brilliant, Glamorgan Cardiff/Newport branch go above and beyond we have been using them for a couple of years now, the carers are friendly, supportive and caring my mam loves all the carers her face lights up when she sees them!! Nothing is too much trouble you only have to call office if you need anything and they will always try and help, they have become an extended family to us all and we couldn’t be without them can’t thank them enough.

My mum receives care from the Glamorgan Cardiff branch and has done for at least the last 9 years. I don’t know what we would do without them. They are all wonderful carers, trustworthy and reliable. I know my mum can be difficult sometimes but they look after her very well and let me know if there any problems.

Cera is a life saver!
My grandmother has dementia and is 99 after Xmas and we thought the only option was for her to go in a home, we tried 3 other care companies within a year and after 5-6 weeks of each of these companies attending they all said that they couldn’t help my grandmother as she refused help and told them to leave every time. Then we tried Cera and wow they have completely changed everything, my Nan is now showering ( which she point blank would refuse and has only had one this year up until now)
She is kept clean, feed, the carers call the same time everyday so now she has a routine, my Nan now where’s nightwear to bed as she wouldn’t before, they are very caring , tidy go above and beyond they change my Nan’s bedding if need be, put a wash in, does a quick tidy up around the kitchen, they are literally a god send and have taken so much strain away from us, my nan hasn’t even told them to get out so she must enjoy having them there too, I would 100% recommend them they are the best around.
They also have an app which is great full of detail on what they do, there very easy to get hold of communication is great, there’s nothing bad I could say about them definitely 5 star plus ☺️

Cera care look after my elderly mother with care respect dignity which makes us confident in their ability to make her life comfortable and makes us reassured that all is well and she is happy

The care package is for my wife, who has late stage "Dementia with Levy Bodies", and is two handed 4x a day.
All of the Carers are very professional, competent and friendly. I couldn't manage without them.
Excellent service!

We were offered two companies when trying to source support for our elderly relative. When we spoke to Debbie and then Helen - both made us feel so comfortable that the choice wasn't difficult. We agreed that it would make sense for members of the Cera Care (Cardiff and the Vale) team to visit 3 times a day primarily to prepare his meals. His wish was to remain at home and live independently and Cera allowed that to happen. More than that, everyone who visited was incredibly kind and caring. He trusted them to be in his home. We as a family will always be very grateful to them. It's always hard after someone passes - there's not the opportunity to meet with everyone who had looked after him. I hope they know what a difference they made.

Since I have been with them, my health and well being has improved immensely. The carers are so good at their jobs that I consider them extended family. Since Helen has taken the co-ordination of the rotas it has worked 100% better. I find the app helpful as it gives me call times and I always know which carer is coming. It always helps that the office inform me if a carer is running late as it stops me worrying.

Cera Care Carlisle help my disabled uncle with his showers. Someone calls twice a week to shower him and make sure he is dressed before they leave. They are a good team of people all who are very friendly. We chose Cera Care as we needed someone who is first aid trained and could cope if ever an emergency happened. We have had no problems with the service.

Cera care are excellent! Nothing is too much trouble. The carers are kind and helpful and my parents are very happy as a result . I am very grateful for the excellent care that they provide. Mum’s name is Judith Jones and it’s the Glamorgan/Cardiff/Newport team which provide the first class care

My sister is a vulnerable adult under their care. They lost her life-saving medication more than once. They lost her safeguarding plan, and therefore failed to alert me when she was missing late into the night. A police search followed.

Management responded with written information that was factually incorrect (proven by their own policies) and with retaliation against me for complaining.

Their policy delegates the checking of her vibrating fire alarm (for her deafness) to a third party, putting her at serious risk.

Staff lost her life-saving asthma pump in a communal staff fridge, a gross cross-contamination breach. The provider was so negligent I, the Deputy, had to personally call the pharmacy to fix it.

Staff lost her critical blood pressure medication for an overseas holiday, despite 6 weeks' notice.

Staff overdosed her on Senna, causing significant diarrhoea (confirmed by a GP note) and ignored my pleas to stop.

I have a written admission from the Registered Manager that staff signed medical records (MAR charts) for medication that was never administered.

The Registered Manager is the root cause. I have written proof of her contradictions. THE CONTRADICTION: She stated in an email, "we don't administer from dosset boxes." THE PROOF: In the same email, she attached her own company policy (CM01) that explicitly authorises dosette boxes. This refusal to use safer methods directly led to the medication crisis.

After making a complaint, the provider concluded the stage 1 process without speaking to me, in breach of their own procedures.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg. The LA's safeguarding team is just as bad; after I sent my detailed safeguarding alert, their formal response was an email referring to the wrong person and calling my sister my 'aunt'.

Now escalating to the CQC and my MP. Based on my direct experience, I believe this service is 'Inadequate' and unsafe. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

Like to rate the careers at ST JOHNS COURT FARNBOROUGH 5 stars I’d give lot more if I could there go above there means for my sister who moved there about 7 years ago and they can’t do anymore for her

I have been using Cera care for the last few months to provide much needed care and support for my elderly mother in law. The team leader- Helen, always goes above and beyond to listen, and put things in place to ensure her needs are being met. Helen clearly takes her job very seriously and has a wonderful passion for caring for those who need it. I find all the girls who come to me are very good, very understanding, very caring and very helpful. The timings of my calls and all carers are fantastic, if ever a carer is running late I am always informed and this means a lot to me as I suffer with anxiety. I enjoy the company of all the carers and find we can chat and have fun. Great service

My name is Mr Rafferty, I receive care from Cera Care Glamorgan the Cardiff/Newport branch. I would be lost without the carers who come to me. The girls are absolutely fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. Both carers and office staff are friendly, caring, efficient and helpful. Cera care enables me to lead a normal life and remain living independently

Cera Care Cardiff are great, they support my father to live independently with dementia, providing care with respect and dignity. Thier App with the visit schedule and reports is invaluable as I can manage my father’s expectations and have awareness of his needs, and moods. The carers are wonderful and the office staff are accommodating and very helpful. Communication is really efficient with carers and office staff. I have myself mobility issues and using Cera Care Cardiff gives me peace of mind my father is well cared for.

Wayne our main carer is brilliant nothing to much trouble for him always very even tempered and has a lot of patience

I am very happy with the care that I currently receive from Cera care especially from the following members of staff Mr Murray Taylor who arranged for ambulance transport when I was taken unwell with serious chest infection which turned out to be Covid. I spent one week in hospital undergoing treatment with a combination of antibiotics. I will always be very grateful for the help that Murray.gave me by packing a bag to take into hospital with me. I would also like to you thank the following members of staff Natalie Duncan Mary Mackenzie Mohammed Khaled to name but a few and also Alison Robertson my thanks also goes to the office staff, but primarily the carers who go above and beyond.
