Thank you for your review, and we're very sorry to hear about your experience. We completely understand your frustration with the return costs.

To clarify, as soon as we received your cancellation request, we immediately contacted the carrier to try and stop the shipment. Unfortunately, because the order was already close to delivery, we were unable to intercept it in time.

For returns due to non-quality issues, our policy requires the customer to cover return shipping and a restocking fee. This is because furniture is large and expensive to ship, and we also bear the risk of potential damage or loss during the return transit. We believe this policy helps protect both our customers and our business.

A bit of context: for furniture, shipping is expensive and items can get damaged in transit. We sometimes ship in batches so you can check the quality first before we send the rest — that way we can avoid the cost and hassle of returning bulky items.

You're absolutely right, though — getting it right the first time is what we should aim for. We're improving our process: moving forward, if a split shipment is needed, we will email you in advance to confirm your preferences before we ship.
