Excellente plateforme ! Je recommande vivement, le gain de temps est plus qu'important et allège d'une tâche qui n'est pas des plus agréable quand on est monteur vidéo.
Très simple, intuitif et très rapide, j'ai vraiment été très agréablement surpris.

Je viens d'utiliser le service pour la première fois, en sous-titrage automatique, pour une vidéo de 75 minutes, et ce en français sans traduction. Le logiciel permet un vrai gain de temps car il interprète plutôt bien le langage parlé, même s'il y a quelques erreurs. Ce qui m'a le plus embêté, c'est le découpage des sous-titres, peut-être serai-je plus douée la deuxième fois pour paramétrer ça, et les options de mise en forme des sous-titres sont un peu limitées quand on veut les incruster (d'autant plus quand on a une charte graphique précise). Il faut prévoir le temps de chargement de la vidéo, qui peut prendre plusieurs heures. J'ai mis 8 minutes de travail pour 1 minute de vidéo, et je pense travailler vite.
Ce que j'ai énormément apprécié, c'est la réactivité et la qualité du service client. J'ai eu un bug avec ma vidéo, ai du en charger une nouvelle, et via le chat, Thomas m'a dépannée en me permettant une manipulation technique qui n'était pas du tout prévue par la plateforme.
Pour résumer, je dirais donc un service utile qui reste encore à améliorer, mais qu'on a envie d'investir parce que l'équipe a juste l'air top!

Excellent service that provides subtitles of great quality through an easy-to-use process. The quality of the product is very good: the translations were accurate and up-to-date, the subtitles were precise and correct.
Overall a great experience and I cannot recommend them enough

- Les mots dépassent la largeur de la vidéo après modification, et aucun retour en ligne possible
- Traduction correcte mais beaucoup de modifications à faire tout de même
- Repérage des débuts/fin de phrase quasi nulle.

Très utile, rapide, simple d'utilisation, si j'avais connu Checksub plus tôt... j'aurais tellement pu gagner du temps. Je recommande vraiment !

Easy to use to add open captions on video, i use french captions.

I am doing my bachelors in languages which include translation. I was working on a project and was looking for a platform to generate subtitles in French for a Spanish video of 45 mins
1. Generation of transcription was faster than a translation and had to edit only few words/phrases. Shortcuts helped me work faster
2. I liked the option to share the link on dashboard which allowed my friend to review the project.
3. I didn't have to pay as my project was complete within the free trial limit but I will surely come back and recommend to my friends to use the solution when needed.

It's a great product and kudos to whole team.

Having become fed up with the latest versions of the youtube application and the increased time it took to do even a simple subtitle. We had a look at what options were available and simple to use. We were lucky to come across checksub.com and have been blown away by the ease of use and speed with which we could work.

On top of that un unexpected bonus is that it allowed us to export videofiles with embedded subtiles in seconds!
previously we had to fiddle around with handbrake or other apps and import files. now what would have taken 2 or 3 hours to do we do in 30 minutes !

Thank you guys for building a great alternative. And this seems just the start as they are getting better each day, while youtube is ignoring its customer needs and getting worse each day :) So wishing we had found this site years ago , we are now moving our whole team across worldwide and will definitly be using them for all our future project, well done guys 10/10 :)
