Well...

Not bad, but also far away from being top-notch and also much too expensive in comparison with competitors. (Concerning the cabinet IR sets).

Poor experience the software does not work made life very difficult just to get a refund as if they think it’s all my fault won’t buy from them again waste of money highly disappointed

Hi Simon,

We're sorry to hear you were disappointed, but your review does not accurately reflect what happened.

As you mentioned yourself, you have purchased many ChopTones products in the past without any issues. This package is no different and has been thoroughly tested before release.

When you contacted us, we immediately asked you to explain the problem and later requested a short video showing how you were loading the patches so we could identify the cause. We also reminded you to correctly match each IR to its corresponding preset, as explained in the included Readme.

Unfortunately, despite several requests, you chose not to provide any of the information needed for us to troubleshoot the issue. Instead, you repeatedly requested a refund while refusing to cooperate with the diagnostic process.

We never suggested that the issue was "your fault." We simply asked for the minimum information required to understand what was happening. Without that information, it is impossible for any support team to determine whether the problem is related to the loading procedure, device configuration, or something else.

For this reason, we do not believe it is fair to describe the product as "not working" or the support as poor when every request for assistance was answered promptly and the requested troubleshooting steps were never completed.

The Choptones presets are of the highest quality

The Choptones presets are of the highest quality I really enjoy using them. I recently had a problem with my latest purchase which was a result of my mistake. A brief exchange of emails soon identified the problem and I was able to start enjoying the new presets immediately.
Many thanks to the guys who helped me out with excellent product support.

Ideal for newbie and pro. Easy to use and great sounds.

I am a newcomer to the concept of downloading tones and was initially rather dubious and even frightened. I am delighted to report that everything has worked really well and each order is fulfilled quickly and without issue so far. The downloads have prove to be without complications and they sound REALLY GREAT through my helix. I will definitely buy again from Choptones!

I installed the patches and there was


I installed the patches and there was no effects . Then I tryed to update the GP 200. It stopped and freezed so I could not use it anymore. Now it is returned for reperation and I hope it is ok when I will get it back

Hi,

This review falsely attributes a hardware failure to our product.

Our patches are user presets only. They cannot interrupt, corrupt, or freeze a firmware update, nor can they cause a GP-200 to become unusable or require repair.

If your device froze during a firmware update and had to be returned for repair, this clearly points to a hardware or firmware issue unrelated to our content.

Regarding your comment that "there were no effects," we contacted you after your review asking for additional information so we could understand and investigate the issue. Unfortunately, we never received any response.

Thousands of customers use our GP-200 packs without experiencing hardware failures or firmware issues.

For these reasons, we believe this review is misleading, as it associates our product with a problem it simply cannot cause.
