I wish I would have known about choptones sooner, really great tones, have bought quite a bit, keep it up!!

Great tones from the YMJ only down side i would say is its hard sometimes to get answers to questions about packs

I bought "Acoustic Fields" for the Valeton GP 200. Sounds great, especially with the included 4 IRs.

I have purchased several tones and they are all amazing! Great selection of tones across different brands. Will be back for more!

Désolé mais après avoir téléchargé les sons et converti en prst puis chargé sur mon gp200 valeton mis au dernier firmware 1. 08 les patches sonnent vraiment mauvais.peut être que celà vient du téléchargement ou autre chose mais en tout cas le résultat est minable .
Je comptais compléter mes achats pour d'autres Pink Floyd mais là ça m'a vraiment refroidi.J'ai trop peur de renouveler l'expérience et d'être encore déçu.Par contre je Félice votre site pour le suivi de satisfaction.

The preset received did not translated as advertised. It did not sound remotely close to the video

Ho acqusitato su Choptones tre pacchetti per Valeton GP200, nello specifico:
- Metal Pack Vol. 2 (11 patch e 2 IR) ben fatto con suoni neutri utili come base per generare un gran varietà di sonorità;
- PF Wall Vol. 2 (14 patch e 9 IR), molto belle le patch NumbDLY, NumbLD ed HeyUEle, le altre non mi sono piaciute;
- Met Puppet (30 patch e 30 IR) purtroppo questa è la delusione più grande: uno dei pacchetti più prestigiosi cari del sito, è inutilizzabile, perlomeno nella versione per Valeton GP200. Innanzitutto la GP200 ha soltanto 20 slot per caricare IR mentre questo pacchetto ne richiede 30, (e sarebbe corretto perlomeno scriverlo in descrizione così uno si regola prima di comprarlo anziché scoprirlo dopo). Quanto al suono, effettivamente ricorda molto le sonorità di Master of Puppets, non ho mai avuto modo di ascoltare le singole chitarre isolati dal resto per un confronto diretto, ma direi che il timbro complessivo è quello giusto. Il problema è che queste sonorità sono affiancate da un fastidioso rumore di fondo, una specie di rumore bianco riverberato, le dita che scorrono lungo le corde generano stridii, in alcune patch i colpi di plettro risuonano come martellate. Inizio a guardare dentro i settaggi delle patch e capisco il perché: ogni patch ha un volume alto (80%) ed è costituita da un Booster a palla nel PRE, che spinge un Distorsore a palla che spinge un ampli a palla che viene poi filtrato dalla IR ed il risultato rilanciato a palla nell'equalizzatore. Nelle patch dei suoni LEAD nel PRE ci sta un compressore anziché il boster e viene aumentata la distorsione per compensare. Questo fa si che il Wha venga annichilito e si percepisca appena se posizionato all'inizio della catena, mentre a spostarlo più avanti in varie posizioni crolla tutto il sistema di potenza e la patch si dissolve. E purtroppo Kirk Hammett senza Wha ancora non l'hanno inventato.
In buona sostanza le IR anziché essere la ciliegina sulla torta, quel dettaglio sostanziale che aggiunge il timbro giusto alla patch, costituiscono invece il 90-95% del suono finale. Queste IR probabimente sono venute fuori male o non adatte alla Valeton GP200 necessitando di un segnale super pompato per restituire la timbrica giusta. Tale segnale per contro, raccoglie ed amplifica tutto il rumore aggiuntivo (che di solito con le altre patch/IR è trascurabile) rendendo, alle mie orecchie, il suono particolamente fastidioso.
Specifico inoltre che le patch le ho state testate con chitarre "ufficiali" dotate di "pickup ufficiali": EMG JH Het Set, EMG81/60, EMG 81/85, EMG 81/81 tutto con risultati simili.
Dubito fortemente che sostituendo la simulazione delle IR con una cassa reale opportunamente microfonata si possa ottenere la sonorità che viene simulata ma non ne ho la certezza. Quel che è certo, è che dopo 10 giorni passati a far prove e regolazioni e simulazioni e selezioni, alla fine ho cancellato tutto ed ho comprato altrove un prodotto simile, probabilmente meno accurato ma senza dubbio più funzionale e, cosa più importante, ho finalmente ripreso a suonare e divertirmi.

Absolutely wonderfull presets for my NUX electric guitar amp. Even did a quick support with email on how to install. Would highly recommend it. Now i am able to Play so much better tones. Thanks choptones.

Two years ago I discovered Choptones and since them I'm in love with them. In my experience using some modelers, Choptones has the best solutions for your sound. Their packs are so organized and totally useful. Normally I don't need to change anything from their chain and adjusts. Everything works really well. How I live in Brazil the currency isn't favorable for us but even with this problem I consider a fantastic investment.
I've ordered multiple times since I discovered them and I will continue doing it. Congrats Choptones for your fantastic job !!

Overall, I have enjoyed the tones I purchased. What i don't care for is the difference in volume between some. They aren't terrible, but one was definitely extremely lower in volume. That would be the VH beat it. I feel that plug and playability is extremely important. I will have to be sure to use a db meter to make sure I'm not driving the sound tech insane. To be fair, the same is true with the factory presets in the podgo. Very frustrating.

Did not work at first. Reloaded as per instruction and most tones worked. 2 just would not work so had to manually search IRs and add on. Big volume discrepancies between rigs. I guess I expected better experience

I got into amp modeling a few years ago. I try to make my own patches but they're never as good as the ones I download from Choptones. I've ordered multiple times. I'm a big fan of amp modeling and I love how easy it is to make your guitar sound really good with Choptones. I use a few amp modelers but right now my main one is the Headrush Pedalboard. I know its a little outdated but don't care. It sounds awesome with the mods I purchased. I recommend to at least give them a try.

Unlike many other similar music software companies, Choptones has the most well-developed system for pairing amp clones and IRs. In some other cases I’ve encountered, you sometimes have to manually import IRs into the modeler because the purchased system cannot automatically combine a specific amp type with an IR. This is not the case with Choptones; everything works perfectly. Even if that weren't so, their simple numerical labeling leaves no room for doubt on how to pair specific systems. As for the sounds themselves, they are truly faithful to the original, so that part of the job has also been done exactly as it should be. All in all, every purchased tone pack is a justified investment regardless of your professional level in playing music or studio production. However, as in many other cases, the only complaint could be the high price of certain packs, which can still be offset by loyalty points earned through regular purchases.

Loved the Met Chop pack! I got the Overloud version. Very accurate and a good time to be had playing these riffs from'85/'86!
It's important to note that these will put you in the ballpark for these tones. You may find you may have to tweak it a bit to suit your gear. That said, dial it in, and riff away! Have loads of fun chugging to Disposable Heroes, Battery, Master... or come up with your own riffs after being inspired!
