I needed some new slippers and chose Ciora as they had soft sole sheepskin slipper boots. Unfortunately, I wasn't in when the postman delivered them and the package was placed outdoors, out of sight, with no note through the door to advise me they were there. By the time I discovered the parcel the following day, it was absolutely soaked through by rain.

The slippers themselves were nice but slightly large so I contacted Ciora on 2/1/24, explaining that I wanted to return the slippers for a smaller pair but the original packaging was unusable due to rain damage, with photos of the parcel attached. I received a reply two days later, asking whether the slippers were left in a location designated as a safe place with the delivery company. I replied the same day saying that it wasn't, but have heard absolutely nothing from Ciora since, despite me sending a follow up email two weeks ago requesting an update and explaining that I needed warm slippers as a matter of urgency due to underlying health conditions that create complications when my feet get too cold.

I appreciate that it was the postman who was initially at fault for leaving the parcel outside with no notification it was there, but consumer rights are clear that the responsibility to resolve such issues is with the retailer and not the customer. I am extremely disappointed that Ciora haven't even taken time to respond to my emails.

Due to my need for slippers in the recent cold snap and the lack of response from Ciora, I have ended up just wearing the larger size but I'm really disappointed by the customer service offered and certainly won't be buying from them again. My advice to anyone else would be to shop elsewhere.

I bought my first pair of Ciora Berit slippers about 4 months ago. They are just the most warm, comfortable slippers ever! Have just bought another pair in order to rotate and give them a breather. Unfortunately, my husband has nabbed a pair and now he’s a convert!

Also, high praise for the company. Very well packed with little personal touches that make you feeel connected.

I shopped around online for ages looking for some cheap sheepskin slippers, and what I learnt is that doesn't exist. I found a couple of companies claiming to be that, but their reviews showed they actually used synthetic materials. Anyway I decided to splash out on these and I'm happy I did, they're very cute and warm. I'm learning these days you have to pay a bit more for the companies that offer true quality and aren't trying to rip you off.

Hole in weak point in slipper in just a year with very light use. Company said totally normal. They're pretty poorly constructed/made but for the price I expect more.

Couldn’t be happier with my sheepskin soft soled boot/slipper. So happy I bought a few more goodies. It’s it’s winter and essential to have such things in abundance. It’s so good to be able to buy UK made quality goods. Never regret it.

I have had two pairs of slippers from this company. They're very comfortable. However, they both starting breaking down in less than 1 year and customer service just says this is normal wear and tear. So only purchase if you are very happy to buy a pair a year.

Ordered on Sunday, received Wednesday! Speedy delivery. Wanted some new high ankle real sheepskin house boots for the winter which I will wear all day everyday, when I’m working from home and Aesop slippers look like they will meet my expectations. I usually buy my slipper boots from New Zealand every couple of years, but this year am trying to purchase more sustainable products from nearer home, so thought I’d give Ciora my business. So far, so good, they look to be well made and from a nice quality material. I am usually 5.5 to 6 (39) in a shoe but bought 38s as prefer a tighter fit in sheepskins as all tend to give after a little wear. Glad I did, 38s fit perfect.

I would have given this company a zero if I could have. The following reason will be explained.
1. Purchased a pair of boot slippers but due to my son not being able to get them on. I could only try one slipper over his toes on one foot as he could not stand up to try them on himself.
2. I package them up and sent them back.
Ten days later I rang to see where my refund was and they told me they had not received them.
3. The company then asked for proof of sending them back. This is what I can’t understand is don’t they have a system in place for returns?
4. Once again I called and spoke to a person who told me that a member of staff put them aside and went on holiday. Next they told me they were marked and could not be refunded. They then told me they had tried to get the marks out. A few days later they sent the slippers back to me.
I rang and told them that my hands were clean and that I had tried them just over my sons toe on one of his feet so how come both slippers were marked? One slipper wasn’t even taken out of the box.
These slippers came to me in the same condition as I sent them back, and I would not have even noticed the marks they were talking about due to eye problems.
My son had just come out of hospital with back problems and could not even stand up to try them on.
I have purchased from other companies over the years and I have never had a problem. I thought I would give this company a try for a change, but I have now gone back to Footwear4You who sell beautiful leather and sheepskin slippers/shoes from Sweden and are of much better quality than the pair I had from this company.

Please note if you receive slippers or any other item from this company take a photograph incase you need to send them back.
I have now given the slippers to a charity shop as they did not fit my son and hope that someone else might find a use for them, but it has cost me £40 in the process and I also needed to purchase another pair of slippers for my son.

Ordering from ciora was very easy, I was kept up to date with the processing and despatching of my order,also Royal mail tracking was provided. My order of a pair of Alpin sheepskin slippers arrived only 3 days after ordering. The packaging was very good, plastic wrap over a sturdy box. The slippers look and feel great quality and are the most comfortable I have ever experienced. Care instructions were provided and a hand written note and a packet of sweets were also in the box (which I thought was a nice touch)

Purchased 3 pairs of nutmeg brown slippers for the men in my life. We have purchased something that looked similar previously from an outfit in Poland and that have proved to be excellent quality, but this time thought we would buy British (what a huge mistake).
When the slippers arrived we were a little disappointed with the quality. The soles whilst ridged had not been finished properly and bits of plastic were coming away making them look a bit cheap.
The killer however was the colour. We ordered Nutmeg which in the pictures was the same dark brown as our previous slippers (in fact they looked identical) What turned up, was silver grey in colour and frankly made our feet look like something from a 1960s space movie!
We were clear in our minds that they had despatched the wrong colour and did not see why we should pay to return them.
Went through the palaver of contacting their customer service team who asked for photos (bit put out, but followed the instructions ) and received the following reply
"thank you for forwarding us the photo. Those are indeed nutmeg distressed leather. Due to the nature of our slippers being a natural colour there will be some amount of variation between batches, our most recent batch of nutmeg Alpins were lighter in colour. The dark colour of your current slippers could also be down to the age of them as the leather on the outside will darken with age and use.
If you are still dissatisfied with the slippers you can send them back for an exchange or full refund, I must note that we can not provide you with a pre-paid label as these are not faulty.
Hope that answers any questions you may have, but please let us know if we can help you any further."
The dark colour of our current slippers, which we also put in the photos for reference were the same colour as in their photo and have always been that colour!
Needless to say we are disappointed that we will have pay to send back items which are not as described or depicted and will not use this company again.

Ordered yesterday delivered today - how? They should run the country! Lovely slippers, cuddly and snug. Delighted.

I ordered what the website claims to be a premium mens slipper boot. It's not premium. The glue holding the sole to the boot had leaked and was visible and there were rubber off-cuts on the sole that hadn't been snipped off. When I raised this with the company, they refused to acknowledge the imperfections. I did receive a full refund but they've still yet to reply to my email to even acknowledge fault.

usually buy shepherd's slippers but were only lasting 7 or 8 months and at 60 or 70 pound a pair it was getting silly now i come across this company and i bought the high ankle slipper and there top quality i would say even better than shepherds the sole looks like its tougher and stronger on ciora slippers and sizes are perfect im size 11 and tht size in these slippers were right for me i highly recommend this company 10 /10 from me

I posted a review in March expressing dis-satisfaction about how the replacement of my lovely, cosy hot-water bottle had been handled. I’d like to say that following my second complaint to the company, their customer service was exemplary. I was phoned by one of the owners, Sebastian. He dealt with the problem
personally and Ciora has now replaced the product. Happy customer again!

Update - I had a call today from the co-owner who is dealing with the problem personally. Will keep the post updated.

Delighted to receive a Ciora sheepskin-covered hot water bottle as a gift. Very comforting and soft, kept heat well. Until … the inside of the sheepskin started to break up so the cover was unusable. Happened within a month.
I asked for replacement, they said they’d replace, I offered to send a photo as useful as customer feedback. So I sent a photo and they replied that they couldn’t replace as the cracking must have been caused by: “water spillage/drips which have not been allowed to dry”.

I am really disappointed that they haven’t fulfilled on their offer to replace. Poor customer service.

Fabulous soft soled slippers. I have several pain conditions and slate floors, so like to have cushioning! These are amazingly comfortable. I have wide feet, so sized up from my midsize, and they fit well. I can feel the seam at the edges, but not in an annoying or painful way. I have found them to be great for wearing in bed instead of socks that can irritate round the top, so have bought myself two pairs, and even bought a pair for the mother-in-law for mothers day - praise indeed!

I love my soft sole slippers. They arrived speedily and they are so beautiful and comfortable I just couldn't resist and ordered another pair two days after the first pair arrived. I just wish that they came in UK 13 (EU 48) too, so I could get them for my husband.

I have so far purchased 5 times from Ciora and as always, wonderful quality Merino wool products. I recently bought sheepskin slippers, Merino wool duvet and mattress topper. All absolutely fantastic products!

I bought my slippers 9 mths ago and they are very comfy and still in good condition even though I've worn them every day including outdoors. They are very true to size and the sheepskin is snug at first but beds down within hours. I'd tried slippers elsewhere and had been ordering a size up and still finding other brands too tight and narrow or not well made. So when I ordered a size up from Ciora, I'd expected them to fit but actually, as they are true to size, they were too large. My normal shoe size UK4 was perfect. So I'd advise, just order your actual size and you'll be fine. The insoles do get a little worn which is normal after wearing daily and obviously slippers stretch a tiny bit but I've just had Ciora sheepskin insoles as a present and they've given a new lease of life to the inner slipper. And I can also recommend the Pedog cleaning kit, I got a suede brush, microfibre cloth, and an eco spray cleaner (smells lovely) and eco protector and my slippers are like new again. The only tiny drawback is I do wish that the navy colour was much deeper as it's faded to a greyish colour. Next time I'll probably order another shade.
