Angry delivery driver
Today I was met by a rude and angry delivery person from CitySprint hired by Wickes, on answering the door to my garden the driver states âthis place is ridiculousâ that was my greeting, he then refused to deliver, I have had 23 timber deliveries in the last few years from wickes with no issues but this guy just refused, the ground is level there is ample parking and a straight run to my house, there are no issues delivering just as in the past there was not, I even offered to take from the Kerb but was to late he was in a mood and leaving and broke my gate latch while slamming the gateâŠ
Equally poor was calling Wickes to sort it out, they are simply chaotic and refused the refund until the driver returns the goods and they check them, thatâs odd as they were never delivered so condition is not on meâŠ
I have reported both companies to Trading Standard as they are in breach of the Distance Selling Regulations. I also have a video of the driver being rude and arrogant but weirdly angry that will be posted online.
I have not had to leave a review like this before but obviously I will not be using Wickes again and I will try to avoid CitySprint as they hire aggressive staff.
Be warned look elsewhere, I willâŠ
