Non payment
I worked for and completed three cleaning assignments in early November 2025. Each job was completed successfully, and I received highly positive client feedback. In fact, all but one of the clients specifically requested that I return for future cleanings.
Despite fulfilling these assignments to a high standard, as of May 2026 I have still not received payment for my work. The total amount owed, including base pay, boosts, and bonuses that were assigned to these bookings, is approximately $300.
Since completing these jobs, I have made numerous attempts to resolve this matter through every available communication channel, including text messages, emails, in-app messages, and repeated phone calls to every contact number previously used to reach me. None of these efforts have resulted in payment or meaningful communication.
I also retained legal counsel to draft and send a formal demand for payment. While I received no direct response, I have evidence indicating that this demand was received. Specifically, the message was removed from my in-app inbox after being sent, creating the appearance that it had never been submitted. Fortunately, I documented this communication with screenshots before it was deleted.
On one of the few occasions I was able to speak directly with a company representative, I was contacted and asked to accept a same-day cleaning assignment on very short notice. Recognizing this as a potential opportunity to resolve the outstanding payment issue, I agreed only on the condition that I first receive payment for the work I had already completed.
The representative declined, offering several explanations as to why immediate payment was not possible. Based on information from another cleaner who referred me to the platform and experienced a similar issue, I have reason to believe these explanations were inaccurate, as her payment was issued immediately when she raised the same concern.
What was most concerning was being told that if I declined the assignment under these circumstances, I would no longer be offered future bookings through the platform. In effect, I was being threatened with termination for refusing to continue working after never having been paid for prior completed assignments.
This experience has caused significant financial hardship and has had a serious impact on my stability.
I am sharing this account as a warning to anyone considering working for or doing business with Cleanster. My experience raises serious concerns regarding payment practices, communication transparency, and professional treatment of workers. I strongly urge prospective cleaners to proceed with extreme caution.

Cleanster is a fraudulent scam that hires cleaners to clean, but donât pay the cleaners. Cleanster keeps all the money and donât pay the cleaners for personal gain. Do not clean for this company you will not be paid! Do not hire Cleaners from Cleanster because they do not pay the cleaners. This company needs to be sued and shut down immediately!
Youâll never be paid
I have taken jobs from there before had no issues with Payment. The second time around is horrible. They only almost $400 since March. I normally get paid the same day or next day. Payment now it says itâs in transit. Thatâs for a bank confirmation cause they canât pay me through PayPal no more. And when you look on the app says that itâs in transit, I shouldâve got it first. It was a Mark 25th, 28th for each one. It was different dates now itâs says it was April 3, April 4, April 6, but still no Payment. None of them Answer. Their phones. Donât return Text messages. Donât return emails. They are ripped off horrible but theyâre on you like glue. When you take a job for them to make sure that you make their money cause theyâve been paid already. Horrible company to work for youâll never get paid. So now I am going to court to sue them.

Honestly, I wouldnât even give one star. I am so irritated at this site. Iâve been cleaning for 20 years and one they want so many pictures thatâs going to take so much time out of your day. I wake up this morning to several jobs that I accepted that I never even seen. I did not accept anything. And their lowball jobs. Iâm about to cancel. I havenât even cleaned my first place. But I would give five star to the sweet lady that answered my phone call because she is the sweetest. Other than the site NO.

Very poor management. They care more about their clients than their cleaners. Its a high turnover rate because they can't keep their cleaners, due to lack of integrity and honesty. They make you go all over to clean. They message you an hour before to do a job. When it takes an hour sometimes more to get to the place. Not to mention they dont pay their cleaners. It is now March 19th and I've been waiting to be paid from February 7th and February 20th resulting in $100. Very unreliable company. Ive already told my friends not to waste their time with this horrible company. Today I got a notification that they opened more locations in other parts of the world for people to recieve their service. Would be nice if you could first get what business you do have under control before opening more locations. There are many cleaners that are still waiting on a payments from a month or more. The companies communication is very poor. They tell you what you they think you want to hear and then dont respond for weeks. I am still waiting to get a response about my payment. I wouldn't waste your time with this company. They do not care about their cleaners.

I signed up with this service as a cleaner after someone mentioned they were a good way to go. Iâve done 2 jobs and havenât been paid! Then I was told you have to do 100 cleanings before they allow you to change the pay rate. I would NEVER charge such a low amount for cleaning. I opted to complete the 2 jobs I accepted and be done with their service. My next step is legal action bc they have deceptive business practices and I have no intention on letting them slide!

At this point I donât think I would give them a 1 if I had another option. I have done 4 jobs and not been paid for any of them. The first one was almost a month ago. I have spoken to 3 people, emailed 6 times, and even reached out on Linkedin to the CEO. The only reponse is we will follow up on it. Never a reply back. The CEO, Gloria Oppong, responded to my message with Thanks for your feedback. What a racket they have going! Unbelievable! Es kÃŒmmert sich keiner es kommt auch Monate lang keine Antwort. Bei Visa wurde der Vorgang gemeldet und Wise hat mir den Betrag erstattet nicht zu empfehlen diese Firma!!!

They told me to get pay pal and I would get paid the next day that was 3vweeks ago this site is not reliable they tell you one thing and do another. This company never has the correct info for the units to be cleaned or when delivering groceries, the codes are incorrect or they done have gate codes, the pay is extremely low for cleaning, the last job i did which was 7 days ago, I still haven't been paid for, they don't answer the phone, won't return calls, don't text back unless they need something from you. I finally got an answer this morning with the excuse that there having high amount of payment transactions that's why I haven't been paid yet....????? Also, I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see if it's get paid when the billing department is in. Now I'm behind.

I have completed around 80 different jobs for this company and Iâm very frustrated with them because Iâve been waiting for weeks to get paid for eight jobs that I completed. Iâve worked multiple jobs and waited 30 days to be paid and still NOTHING. No one answers the phone, no reply to emails and no response to Messages.

They do not care if you drive 1 hour away on your dime and are unable to complete the job due to their 3rd party system booking & staff incompetence. I worked as a cleaner through CleansterPro and was never paid for a job where I cleaned a house for over six hours.
I arrived on time, stayed for the entire scheduled shift (9 a.m. â 2 p.m.), completed the assigned tasks, and submitted before and after photos as required. When I finished, I notified Cleanster through the app. Despite this, I did not receive payment.
I contacted Cleanster multiple times by message and phone with no response. Weeks later, a payment briefly appeared in the app with a notice that it would take 5â6 business days to deposit â then it was deleted. I was later told I would not be paid because two rooms were not completed, even though the scheduled time had ended and I fulfilled the hours I was assigned.
It has now been four weeks, and I am still unpaid for labor I completed. This experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Cleaners should not have to chase payment or fear having wages removed after completing a job.
I do not recommend working for CleansterPro unless payment practices and support communication improve.
