I signed a book marketing contract with them a year ago and have received absolutely nothing of what's in the contract. This organization is a complete scam. I reported the to the BBB and they didn't even respond to the request from BBB which tells you a lot. I'm out several thousand dollars, so buyer beware.

I paid Pacific Ghost Writing $3,000 to promote my book the contract was labeled by James Sullivan as File_3232. The contract, which I can provide but there's no area here that allows me to upload the contract included but was not limited to:

1. Targeted Amazon and LinkedIn advertising
2. Amazon listing Optimization
3. Launch email campaign setup + automated review request sequences
4. Branded Social Media Content Strategy
5. Custom Landing page for book promotion
6. Podcast and guest article outreach
7. Strategic LinkedIn outreach to relevant professionals and networks.
8. 3-Months of post launch support
9. Complimentary book to script adaptation

The only item provided by Pacific Ghost Writing was item #9. There has never been any advertising, promotion, or any of the items listed as items 1 through 8.

The process was smoother than expected. I kept waiting for something to go wrong… it didn’t.

I HIRED THESE PEOPLE RECIEVE A BUNCH OF CUT AND PASTE CRAPS. PAY THEM 900.00 NEVER RECIEVE A BOOK ONLY A COVER. SEND OVER COUNTS CORRECTS STILL DID NOT FOLLOW . MIXED UP DATES AND TIMES. ASK FOR MY MONEY BACK HAVE HEARD FROM THEM

the positive reviews are fake, I guarantee it. they are a high pressure sales company, not at all able to offer literary assistance. they use AI 100% and don't even review the crap that comes back. I provided them with a complete BOOK, a good book, but not a terrific book, and they spit back utter crap that sounded like it was written by a first year ESL in English!! I had to heavily rewrite each chapter, AGAIN. during all this, I received up to 5 DAILY calls to sell me something else, along with the usual guilt trips. completely high pressure. lies upon lies. they said it would be done in a few months. it's been six months of high pressure calls andonly 5 of 31 chapters are done!!!!! they do this so we spend as money as possible and finally stop asking for more chapters. Do No Use This Company. They are cheap, and I assumed I'd get subpar work (that I could rework), but not to this level and not not with this pressure. Just today, since I've refused to take their calls this last week, they cut my IP address off from accessing my link on their site so I can't see my project at all. that's the level of high pressure they are. Even though I already paid 100% for the project, and did NOT pay for the lower tier.

Pacific Ghostwriting was hired by me to edit a proposal for an academic book. Everything was meticulously edited, including the language, structure, clarity, even flow, and voice. The comments, which went beyond just assigning grades, was what I valued most since it clarified why a certain modification would improve the work. I was able to confidently submit a preliminary manuscript to publishers because to their help. Reasonable costs for that degree of care. Great service.

The staff at Pacific Ghostwriting was professional from the first interaction. They answered clarifying questions, gave me timely responses, and kept me informed throughout the writing and editing stages. They were adaptable if I required modifications. Mockups and changes were made until I was satisfied, and the cover design process went well. The cost was commensurate with the quality of the job; as an author, I felt valued and taken seriously.

I’m actually in the middle of working with Pacific Ghostwriting. They’re supposed to be helping with ghostwriting and then publishing of my nonfiction book. I’m merely curious if anyone here has published a book with them. And if you have, I’m interested in looking at the finished product. Is it on Amazon or Barnes & Noble? And how would you rate your experience?

Beware. James Sullivan manager promised refund and I provided signed agreement for refund with electronic signature. Now he has not responded acknowledgement receipt of the refund agreement. They play games with polite excuses, run around and take turns with who they allow to make next excuse after days of no replies. It has been a nightmare since October 2024 trying to get book that only required about 2 more hours to be completed. Suppose to have been published in 2024 as a coming soon pre order listed on Amazon. Passed me around many people with many calls, then no answers. Contract they over promised to get a sale. I had to do most of the work. PM wasn't skilled enough. Kept changing outline. Then got fired when refused to finish unless I paid 500. More. Nothing agreed with contract was provided.

This was a huge waste of time and money. My project was supposed to be completed in October of 2023 and now it is February of 2025 and I have nothing usable. The writing is absolutely terrible; ChatGPT would have done a better job. I don't hear from them for weeks or months at a time, then I get endless calls from different people claiming to be in charge of my project if I'd just give them feedback on whatever the last thing they sent was. The thing is, my feedback is always the same. Have an actual human write this, and stop saying the same things over and over (sometimes, even in the same paragraph). It is ridiculous.

Pacific Ghostwriting continues to harass me. Ive requested multiple times for them to stop contacting me and to delete my number from their system and they’ve failed to do so. I’ve specifically told Nathan Murphy of this company to delete my number and he said he wouldnt. This is not a way to conduct business. I do not want to be contacted, respect my right to say No!

The editing and proofreading services from Pacific Ghostwriting were outstanding. They improved the clarity, structure, and overall quality of my writing. Their feedback was invaluable and their professionalism unparalleled. Highly recommend their services!

They are the house of creativity. The writers I have worked with are excellent at handling questions and incorporating feedback. They don’t write and forget. In fact, James was very collaborative and insisted that I provide feedback on all improvements to keep refining until the finalized version. Excellent and supportive services.

10/10 for working on my manuscript and converting it into a masterpiece. My dream came true with the ghostwriting services of Pacific Ghostwriting. They did everything from creating outlines to developing characters, mixing plots and events, and everything else. Super excited to work again with them and will hopefully get the same level of service.

Where do I begin.....like others on here I have had nothing but issues with this company. Many chances were given to fix things and then they would screw up instantly. I have had 5 different reps and no one seems to know what is going on.
I asked for a refund as per my contract and they have not got back to me.
Do not use them!!!!! They are horrible!!!!!

This sham company will not stop harassing me after I have told them dozens of times to stop calling me. When I mention this the person on the line says he's never called before. I've reported this dozens of times to Do Not Call Registry, Internet Crimes Complaint Center, Federal Trade Commission and Rob Bonta, Attorney General of California but the calls never stop. I've blacklisted their email domain so they cannot harass me by email.
Go scam someone else and leave me alone

Absolutely horrible, they called me back saying they were giving me a refund for the fourth time, then never to be heard from again. I have texts to prove it, they are liars, stay away
