Kalkylatorn utgår inte från kolkraft utan det korrekta utslÀppen per kwh från den svenska elmixen förgående år, enligt Energimyndigheten. Bra jobbat du har fossil fri el hemma och pendlar miljövÀnligt, det Àr nog tack vare det som du med 6 ton utslÀpp ligger under medel i Sverige (som Àr nÀrmre 10 ton). Det betyder att utslÀppsdrivarna istÀllet finns i andra faktorer, exempel bensin kopplat till en fritidsbåt eller utslÀpp kopplat till nykonsumtion. Det Àr också möjligt att ditt resultat Àr något överskattat. För att hålla testet enkelt och smidigt att besvara på 5 minuter så innehåller det flera förenklingar. Om du exempelvis anger att du har en hybridbil, så antar testet att andelen bensin/eldrift Àr ett genomsnitt, så om du enbart kör hybridbilen så överskattas utslÀppen något.

1. Housing
2. Travels
3. Consumption
The average footprint in EU is just below 10 ton CO2e per capita (consumption based footprint), so it is normal to have a footprint of around 3 ton, even if you don't include any travels.
Besides calculating and committing to reduce your personal carbon footprint, it is important that we do what we can to contribute to solving the climate crisis. Not everyone can afford this, but if you can it can make a big difference to accelerate the phase-out of fossil fuels and keep global warming, well below +2 degrees C.

it's a good tool and you can learn a lot to make better choices.
however, they intentionally overestimate your carbon footprint to make you feel guilty so you pay them. then, when you try to cancel the subscription, they don't answer and keep charging you - i had to block them via my bank.
for example, they estimate medium-length flights (e.g. around Europe) at ~700 kg CO2e, whereas when you search for such flights on google flights it tells you it's more like 150 kg. airlines provide similar numbers.

700 kg of CO2e is the correct number, when you consider a typical round-trip medium-haul flight (for example London-Barcelona Return). The calculation considers the full climate impact of air travel, i.e.:
1) Direct emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases from the combustion of the jet fuel.
2) Indirect emissions, linked to extracting and refining the jet fuel as well as producing and maintaining aircraft and infrastructure. This is usually called Scope 3 emissions.
3) The high-altitude effect, i.e. the additional radiation forcing index that apply when emissions occur at altitudes above 8000 metres.
A metric of 150 kg, would apply to a single trip, that only includes direct pipepline CO2-emissions (point 1 above).

Lage ist, bei -bewusst-nahezu fleischloser ErnÀhrung, sich dennoch nicht leisten kann, einen Markt mit nur unverpackten Obst-/GemÃŒse-Sorten a) zu finden und b) zu erwerben: Der groÃe Supermarkt verkauft meist schlechte Ware, öfter laufe ich (78) in ein anderes Viertel, wo die Ware unverpackt/ dennoch lÀnger haltbar ist. Ganz wichtig wÀre, SupermÀrkte wie Lidl zu kontrollieren, es gibt oft nur groÃe, schnell verderbliche Salate in Plastik verpackt. Viel MÃŒll, weil die HÀlfte d.Lebensmittel zu schnell verdirbt ( 1 Pers.Haushalt) u. jede Menge Plastik anfÀllt. Nicht âtragbarâ, wÀren Wasserflaschen aus Glas. Es gibt GrÃŒnde, das Leitungswasser ( GebÀude von 1970) nicht zu nutzen. Alles kleine HÃŒrden, die aber bei vielen kleinen Renten kaum zu ÃŒberwinden sind.

I took your carbon footprint quiz. As an individual who has consciously chosen not to have children and does not plan to have any in the future, I was surprised to find that my carbon footprint was calculated to be 7.2 tonCO2e/year. This result only categorized me as a 'Friend' of the environment.
According to established research, not having children limits a person's carbon footprint by 58.6 tons per year. This crucial factor appears to have been overlooked in your assessment, calling into question the accuracy and credibility of your quiz.
Given the significant environmental impact of choosing not to have children, I strongly recommend that your quiz be revised to reflect this.
It does not seem fair to fundraise and claim to have an environmental agency where you can't get even the simplest facts straight. This oversight calls into question the legitimacy of your efforts and the trustworthiness of your organization.
I urge you to correct this oversight to ensure that your tool provides accurate and credible assessments of individuals' carbon footprints.
