Ridiculous business. Can't reach anybody in store, can't reach head office. Ordered uniform 4 weeks ahead of term start - still no sign of it and no way of actually speaking to somebody. Why do schools insist on using this useless organisation?

This is only place can get my sons uniform frkm. I ordered hkm a boys blazer at nearly £50, he did try it on but didnt notice but they sent a girls blazer

⭐ 1 star – Extremely disappointing experience
I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Clive Mark.
I ordered and paid for my son’s St John Fisher Catholic College PE T-shirt on 12 July 2026, with the item due to be delivered to my home address.
Seven weeks later, my son is starting school without his PE T-shirt.
During this time, I have repeatedly tried to resolve the issue. I contacted the shop, visited the Newcastle-under-Lyme branch personally on 23 August, contacted them again by phone, and then went back to the shop on Saturday 29 August.
On 29 August, I was told that the order would be collected on Monday and would be available for me to collect from the shop on Tuesday. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The order is STILL not there.
I also sent a formal complaint to Head Office, but nobody came back to me with any response or solution.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that my son is now starting school without a required part of his PE kit, despite the fact that I ordered and paid for it seven weeks ago. He should not have to face any consequences or receive a behaviour point because of a problem that is completely outside our control.
I have been extremely patient, but this has gone far beyond what I consider acceptable customer service.
I expected much better from a company that specialises in supplying school uniforms. The lack of communication, repeated promises that were not fulfilled, and complete lack of response from Head Office have been extremely disappointing.
Seven weeks for one PE T-shirt is simply unacceptable.
I hope Clive Mark takes this feedback seriously and improves the way it handles customer orders and complaints.

So disappointed, visited the store in Smethwick Bearwood and was over charged by £75. I came home and went over the receipt and realised that 2 extra items were added that weren’t even brought. I was so annoyed, I went back to the store and returned all the items and got a refund. Also the shirts that were given to my daughter to try on for sizing were dirty around the collars, so unhygienic. Won’t be going there again.

Walk in the store at Smethwick this morning asking for regular grey trousers or skirt and the lady sitting at the computer was very disrespectful. She needs customer service training

Unfriendly staff
This is the 3rd time in a month l have received very unfriendly staff. The two old ladies seemed to be helpful to certain type of people each time l have been in there but to me it was so different. Not wanting to put my race in this but l am now sure it's absolutely because of it. Everyone else got treated with respect but l was treated with no respect and they were never cheerful at all. We are equal in the eyes of the Creator so noone should be treated differently because of their race. If only all school uniforms were sold all over the UK l would never have to visit Clive Mark Boldmere. If you are not strong enough to handle the stress that comes with being treated differently because of your race maybe best to order online and pay for delivery even if you live 2 min away from the shop.

It's been a very frustrating experience for me. We ordered school uniforms in June with the promise of receiving items within 3-4 weeks which was plenty of time for September. It's 2 weeks before school starts and we are still waiting for items. I have probably called more than 10 times and every time I've been told the items are out of stock with no resolution as to what to do? Send the kids to school with no uniform? Very poor customer service and no one seems to know what they're doing and keep passing you to different people. I'm not sure what will happen to my order and whether my kid will have uniform or not!!!

Visited Walsall store, staff was so rude! Never again will I go in this shop! Left the store and went to crested instead, when I got home I called the store as I was fuming, the manager was rude and just wanted to get me off the phone. Will avoid this shop from now on!

Me n my daughter n hubby went to get some of her uniform yesterday, the shop was so busy but a young man named GEORGE, helped us while trying to serve a number of other customers, fast, professional n very knowledgeable, GEORGE you are a credit to the store, well done (bearwood branch) .

Went to Kingsheath branch for my daughter’s secondary school uniform we were assisted by a delightful young man (with glasses forgot his name) helped us get everything from top to bottom uniform P.E kit you name it all different sizes and made sure everything was the correct size we must have been in the shop 1hr plus but was very supportive and didn’t rush us at all
Unfortunately they did not have my daughters blazer size in the shop the nice lady (Lou I believe her name was)at the till checked the warehouse and ordered them for us even though she was clearly not well and snowed under as the shop was really busy due to everyone wanting uniform again she was very patient and attentive and assisted me with the whole check out process and double checked we had got everything we required and not missed anything

My experience in this store was made easy by Miriam who helped me with sizes and what I needed for my child. Nothing was too much trouble for her and I left with everything I needed. Brilliant staff, great service.

We visited at the weekend with my daughter as she is starting secondary school in September. Faith was amazing, polite and friendly. She helped throughout our time in the shop and made it a lovely experience.
My daughter is quite small, Faith was constantly trying to find us the right size and offering us different uniform to confirm her size so we could place an order. Nothing was too much trouble,Many thanks.

I have never had good experience with Clive Mark for last 12 years. They always have some issues with delivery, stock, customer service but we have no other choice as it's schools appointed store. You can clearly see the problem with Clivemark as being a monopoly in the Midlands' uniform industry. Typical example; Recently we have received our child's uniforms and 2/3 of the items received were wrong, but they confirmed that they won't refund the return postage of these products. Returning the wrong items for the sake of their mistake is already a hustle for busy working parents and they even refuse to refund a little postage cost. I didn't hear any apologies from them for their simple mistake either. This made me wonder what kind of business this is in 21c.

AVOID THIS SHOP!!!! This place is a total disgrace, I ordered 2 blazers for my daughters for £147 and waited and waited and waited, over 12 weeks later I called to see where they were and the woman said They have already been collected!! THEY HAD NOT!! They are now refusing to give me my money back or order more until I pay again!! I cannot believe they are allowed to operate, it’s pure theft!!

Visited the Sheldon (Solihull) branch and couldn't be happier. Last year my son's school were with another school unform company and it was a nightmare. At Clivemark, my calls were always answered, the store was very tidy, the staff extremely helpful, was able to get everything I needed and left very very happy. It was a completely stress free and enjoyable experience!

Placed an order with the Newcastle-Under-Lyme branch on the 6th September 2021.
I'm still waiting for a skort that was not in stock on the day of ordering. However, into the 7th week and my daughter still does not have her skort, despite being told it would take up to 3 weeks.
I've called at the shop several times, around the 1:30pm time to find it locked and no sign saying why, even though the lights are on.
I'v tried ringing but nobody answers the phone, I have witnessed this on the few occasions when I managed to get in the shop, two people serving one customer (who was also complaining about an outstanding order and the phone ringing but left to ring out.
Despite having my details, nobody has contacted me to provide an update. Absolutely disgusting.
I will be asking for a refund on the outstanding item and will take my business elsewhere in future.

Maybe now I have left a review other people who have had a similar experience can comment too, as I'm sure there are others.
