I'm extremely disappointed with the service I've received tonight. I've been waiting an hour for someone to answer, and when I finally got through, I was told it would be another half an hour.
This is completely unacceptable. I've now been left waiting for a ridiculous amount of time and won't get home until around 4 am because of these delays.
When you use a Park and Ride service, you expect a reliable and reasonably prompt service, not to be left stranded for hours with little communication. This has caused unnecessary stress, inconvenience and a significant delay getting home.
I would like to make a formal complaint and receive an explanation for what has happened, along with details of what compensation or refund you are prepared to offer for this unacceptable service.

The Driver never turned up to meet and greet us never picked up the phone this was on the 28.5.26.so I had to use Mapel parking at Heathrow and have used Mapel parking again since and they have been great you get what you pay for do not use Compare the parking .....

Stansted, Orange Car Park from 25th to October 2nd 2026. We paid extra for camera coverage whilst parked, please provide footage of the car for that period, as promised.

Failure One: I was disgusted by a change of destination by your rep to the Green Parking area, I am 75 years old with arthritis in my spine and hips. We always book the Orange car park because it has the shortest walk to Departures.

Failure 2: There was no identifying signage at the area we were ordered to, 5th Floor Green multi storey car park, and no identity shown in the dark, by the man who was sitting in his car waiting. We had a plane to catch, so had no option but to leave the key.



Failure 3: We were told we must pay EXTRA parking charges for entering the Green Car Park.

Failure 4: When we returned to collect the car, we were forced to wait 40 minutes even though we had telephoned the number given while waiting at Baggage Retrieval.

Failure 5: Upon receiving our car, we checked the mileage (photographed when we left it) and our car had been driven 84 Miles!!!

Failure 7: When collected, there was ZERO fuel showing.

Failure 8: We have now received an Unpaid Parking Charge at Radisson Blu Hotel on 27th September (2 days after we gave you the car) for £60 if paid within 14 days of the notice issued 30/9/2026

Obviously, your company has used our car illegally and we have incurred extra costs as a result. I have informed the local Stansted Airport Police as a result. I will forward their Crime Number, from their reply as soon as I have it.

I expect you to pay the parking fine while you were illegally driving my car, and reimburse me for all extra charges to the £69 paid for meet n greet.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ! THEY USED MY CAR WHILST IN THEIR CARE AND I WAS ISSUED A PAKING TICKET WHEN I WAS OUT OF THE COUNTRY! THEY LEFT MY CAR WITH NOT FUEL AND DROVE IT AROUND FOR OVER 80 MILES. THE PHONE NUMBERS AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS A LIE…NOT ONE CONTACT FORM IS DELIVERED TO A SERVICE WHICH IS VERY LIKELY NON EXISTENT. THEY ARE ILLEGAL OPERATORS AND AIRPORT AUTHORITIES SHOULD REMOVE THEM AND REPORT TO THE POLICE.

I booked here and in confirmation email was given a number to call car park to 40 minutes before arrival. When I called they said that compare airport booking.com have not been paying their invoices and was not answering their calls or emails so I have to make another payment direct to car park for the same service plus a private shuttle because of the issue and I time was ticking on to catch my flight when I arrived at the airport and checked in I phoned compare booking and they said when I provided my booking reference there was no booking. I had the email mail co formation of the booking. Total scammers fraudsters. Please do one use this service you will be left in big problems. Filed a complain to bank to try to get refund. Conpanies like this should not be allowed to operate . Disgusting thriving low life people.

Very poor. Unable to change date of parking on their website or my messaging them as instructed. Ended up with a recommended car parking service on a mud compound run by a rude, incompetent group of individuals who didn't even answer the phone number given. Felt fortunate to get away unscathed in the end

Actual: Green Car Park: Long walk to and from terminal
Advertised: Customer responsible for utility costs.
Meaning: £28 Car Park fees
No official desk just a crook in a car park.
Phoned at baggage retrieval, still waited 45 minutes for car
On return told to wait to pay ticket.
Car returned. We left it with half tank, returned completely empty. PLUS 84 miles!!!

Since leaving the review, we've received a Parking fine from 27th Sep. two days after we left the car with them. So they've been driving our car while we were away. Crooks.

The whole experience from start to finish was appalling,13 calls made to just drop the car off had to wait for a long time to get someone there left to struggle with four suitcases in the pouring rain as we had to park on 5th floor multistorey then a long walk to terminal.not a good company please do not use.this was at Stansted airport.

Horrible horrible avoid any price . Staff is rude , additional charges , my perfume was missing from the car and they drove my car 10 miles . Never ever again . The worst parking experience ever

Booked a meet & greet parking service at Bristol airport. Tried phoning their number 21 times to drop off the car but these charlatans failed to answer all of them. Consequently had to pay the multi story car park for a week. The genuine meet & greet service there informed me this is a common scam run by two foreigners who don't even have car insurance. Avoid at all costs because it is a complete scam.

Do Not Use this company.
Terrible customer service and hidden costs not apparent until booked.
Left my car in the Car Park on a different level to instructions.
Only discovered whereabouts of my car by luck.
Left my key on the front wheel and driver gone.

They seemed to be completely understaffed. We had to wait for some 45 minutes for someone to show up at the carpark. Also unimpressed that we had to pay an additional £26 (£13 x 2) to access the Stansted Green car park, where we did the car handover - as this payment was not mentioned in the ComparetheParking documentation when we booked.

the small print is not obvious - the wait to collect the car long, the car whas muddy, the staff were dismissive - this is an awful site to book car parking at Stanstead

Booked to use this service to fly out of Bristol airport
Nowhere did it say the dirt road to get into the farmland/carpapark was like an off road obstacle course! My car is lowered and it broke the bumper on the front of my car!!
The bus had already left to go to the airport so they had to drive myself and family in MY car to drop us off!
Arriving back in the country i called them to say we’d arrived as it said they needed 30 minutes notice. After leaving the airport at 2am we had to wait until 3:10 for someone to pick us up, out in the cold and rain
Arriving back at the car park due to the rain my car was filthy!! Plus because of the mud on the floor it was all inside my car as we had to walk around to find it for 10 minutes as no one knew where they’d parked it!
They charged me £8:50 on arrival then i had to pay another £8 when we arrived at the airport for them to drop us af the terminal
This was on top of the £75 i already paid.
I will never use this service again and the sooner trading standards shuts this scam down the better!!!! AVOID, AVOID,AVOID!!!!

*****DO NOT BOOK**** through this website - SCAMMERS! Never never use. They charge £20 cancellation fee no matter what. They don't tell you about the collection until after you've booked so you end up booking something unexpected and then they don't refund you.

They advertise for sapphire parking which is an absolute scam company under a different name with 5 stars when it should be 1 star. I’ve just lost £20 having to cancel. They should have trading standards on the case!!

I am writing to make a formal review about the below standard service and facilities received when I booked Stanstead airport parking through comparetheparking.com

We were extremely disappointed with the condition of the car park and the standard of service provided by the service provider Park Pilot CM22 6LL. The facility appeared to be a makeshift car park on what seemed to be farmland, rather than a proper, suitable airport parking facility. The area was extremely dusty and, when it was windy, we were covered in dust while waiting for the airport transfer.

We were also charged £20 for the airport transfer, but no receipt was provided for this payment.

On returning from our trip, we found that our car was covered in a significant amount of dust and dirt. The condition was so bad that it was unpleasant and unhygienic to touch the vehicle. More seriously, we also discovered a scuff mark and a dent on the passenger side of the car, which were not there before when we left the vehicle with Park Pilot.

The behaviour of some of the staff was also disappointing and unprofessional.

We feel that this service falls well below the standard that customers should reasonably expect when booking airport parking through your company. We are particularly concerned about the damage to our vehicle and would like this matter properly investigated.

We suggest to stay away from this parking near Stanstead airport as I feel it is dangerous to park there.

DREADFUL!! Do not use this website as I do not believe the reviews are correct. Sapphire Parking at LGW Airport is utterly rubbish (rating 4.9 stars out of 5 on Compare Parking) They took 1 hour 20 mins to collect my car, they should have been there on arrival having called 20mins ahead. On our return it took 3 hours 45 minutes to get our car back. Should have been 1 hour from calling. We made all the calls in the timeframe stated on the booking. We departed and arrived in "normal" hours. Our car has a tracker and also on the keys and we could see they were not being moved. We called SP, left voicemail, texted, called again and again. They often ignored our calls or if we managed to speak the guy was rude and hung up. I have complained and requested a refund and my emails are ignored. Compare Parking state they are only a comparison website and have no responsibility for the service provided. Other customers we met waiting for their cars - 2 had their cars left in the short term car park so it cost them a fortune to pay to LGW short term parking to leave. One lady had her car left in KFC car park and 2 tyres were let down. I met an LGW parking attendant and asked if they had heard of Sapphire Parking and the response was "oh you have no idea of the horror stories we hear about them".
DO NOT USE SAPPHIRE PARKING or this website.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!! If i could put no stars i would.They don't answer the phone when we got there. The postcode they give us was not for the car park you actually park your car in. They charge each car parked £8 each time they enter the airport to drop people off and pick them up, even though it says £7 on there paperwork and at the Heathrow airport. He said he would ask the office to charge the paper work but they still charged us £8 when we came back 10 days later. We had to wait 40 mins to be picked up from the airport when we came back when he said he would be there in 10 mins when we rang him. They are ripping people off and there attitude is terrible they just don't care once they have your money. I hope they reply to this review but I very much doubt it!!

Utterly useless bunch of clowns. All their listed providers are rogue traders. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
