We have had our Compoost Toilet for 5 years and it looks like new. The quality of the product and the after sales care has been great. I highly recommend this company.

These toilets are extremely well made. I have fitted two- one to my live-aboard barge removing the pump-out toilet and recently one to my touring caravan replacing the Thetford cassette toilet. I would never go back. So easy to fit, absolutely no smell.. in fact less smelly than a flush toilet. The company are so easy to deal with and answer emails and phone enquiries promptly.

Wonderful piece of equipment. Already installed on our boat when purchased so can't comment on fitting, but looks easy enough to install. I spoke to the company regarding a spare solids container and a second urine bottle, which I collected at Crick 2025 show, who are very pleasant and very helpful with any questions or advise you may need.
I have a few things I'd like to pass on, which may help others:
Purchase a spare urine bottle! The 'nearly full' light always comes on at an inopportune time.
Purchase a spare solids bucket. There may be a time when its only you on the boat for one or two days, you may not want to clean everything out and would prefer a lined bucket (sorry if a bit crude).
Use a little white vinegar on a tissue at the end of each day in the urine bowl to prevent any smells which will start after a few days if you don't.
Wash the urine bottle out after each time you empty it and put in a little white vinegar to keeps things fresh.
One again a great piece of kit, certainly sweet smelling if looked after.

I purchased the compost toilet after seeing it demonstrated at the crick show in 2022. I have now been using the toilet on my widebeam canal boat since the beginning of December and it has been fantastic, I fully intended to use this as a test subject to see how it compares with the others that are for sale with other companies but I have been so pleased with this toilet that I won't bother to test anything else. I have spoken to other boaters who have a range of different types including pump outs , Thetford toilets and at least five more including a couple of eco / compost ones and from what they have said I will not be changing my mind any time soon . From the design and the finished product to the ease of use and the total hygiene of the unit as I said it's a fantastic piece of equipment and gives that piece of mind that you get when something works so well brilliant
