I’ve been a Unite the Union rep for a couple of years and decided it was time to move over to the “dark side”… HR!

As a rep, you get a lot of experience and training in employee relations, reasonable adjustments and discrimination, but I knew I needed a recognised HR qualification. After researching CIPD providers, Contigo Associates was by far the most affordable and flexible option.

They offer both classroom and self‑paced learning. I’m autistic and have never learned well in a classroom, so I was leaning towards self‑paced — but meeting Tony made the decision easy. He immediately put me at ease and I knew I’d be supported.

Tony and Lara were incredibly responsive throughout my CIPD Level 5 in People Management. I never had to wait long for answers, and Tony even took a call with me while they were on holiday. I completed the qualification while not in employment and treated it like a full‑time job. Lara and Tony kept up with my pace and I finished in under three months.

The guidance was clear, structured and genuinely helpful. The PowerPoints, Tony’s inductions, and the signposting to CIPD articles, wider research and videos meant I always knew exactly how to approach each assignment. If you’re self‑disciplined, I highly recommend the self‑paced CIPD option — Tony and Lara give you everything you need to succeed.

I cannot fault contigo on anything. The easy way to join, onboard and get started. The way the course is broken down makes me feel like the assessments are achievable . They are chunks that feel you can study while working full time and it’s that well developed and with so much knowledge I haven’t needed much help to just crack on . Honestly stay away from the mainstream Contigo have cracked how to learn and work and achieve

I recently completed my Level 3 CIPD diploma through Contigo and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I initially got into contact with Tony via LinkedIn where I was booked in for a free introductory session breaking down the learning journey and support offered. Having looked at several other learning support providers, it was clear that Contigo were leaps and bounds above the rest.

I had weekly evening 3 hour classes with Daniel our tutor which allowed me to study alongside working full time. Daniel is an excellent tutor and kept each session engaging and informative, giving us all the content and knowledge needed to fully complete each assignment brief. With the addition of recap and 1-1 sessions, support was always there.

All class content was fully accessible through a google classroom which was great for revision, but also offered the reassurance that a missed session was there in full to catch up on if needed.

Despite classes booked in for a weekly spot, additional support from Tony, Lara and Daniel was only ever an email away with Lara sending over important CIPD changes and even potential job prospects!!

Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better learning experience and I can't recommend Lara, Tony and Daniel enough!

I hope to one day complete my level 5 through Contigo!

I've recently completed my CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management with Contigo Associates and I can't recommend them highly enough. The 18 month course was led by an excellent tutor who was knowledgeable, supportive and passionate about the subject. She willingly shared her vast experience and made every session engaging and relevant, bringing the content to life and making everyone's contributions feel valued.
I've met some amazing people from different industries who I'll never forget. I've gained confidence, insight and practical knowledge that I can apply directly to my role.

Normally, people are quick to go online and complain when something doesn’t meet their expectations. We rely on those reviews when making new decisions but often forget to leave good ones when we’re genuinely happy. Well, this is me doing exactly that - writing a positive review for Contigo, and hopefully helping you decide to choose them too.

If you’re here, you’re probably wondering: “They seem a bit more expensive than other companies offering the same CIPD levels… why should I choose them?”

For me, the answer was simple. Contigo is the only provider I found that offers a truly interactive course for CIPD Levels 3 and 5. I did my research - most providers only offer platforms where you log in, work through the material alone, and maybe send an occasional email if you need help. That might work well if you already know the topic, but when you’re learning something new, it can feel isolating and difficult to stay on track.

With Contigo, it’s different. You get weekly live classes with real tutors, where they clearly explain the key points of each assignment and you can interact with other learners who are going through the same journey. It’s engaging, motivating, and makes a huge difference.

Lara and Tony were incredibly helpful from the start, answering all my questions before I joined. The fact that the course is remote is also a big plus, and the schedule works perfectly for me as a full-time professional.

This is exactly the kind of review I was searching for when I was deciding where to enrol. Since I couldn’t find it then, I’m leaving it here now.

I recently had 4 x 1 to 1 sessions with an Contigo Associates Ltd. The sessions helped me to explore different techniques and methods to use when communicating with peers, specifically around how to challenge effectively.
The sessions were very informal which helped me open up about my experiences with my coach, enabling me to get the best out of each session.

Contigo are amazing! By having weekly classes, you are always up to date with your studies, and the resources they provide are so informative and helpful. You can also get a hold of your tutor very easily and they are super helpful which i struggled with in the past with previous providers. I would highly recommend going with Contigo for your CIPD studies if you want a safe, helpful and comprehensive learning environment!
