If the price seems too good to be true it probably is - please do not waste your money buying from this company .......... I purchased a Prada Re-Edition 2005 Nylon Bag in December 2025, when it arrived it had a cologne smell on the bag which I thought was odd for a brand new bag (later explained by the company as being the result of perfumed packaging, however only the bag contained the odor not the dust bags it was packaged in). I sent off to have it authenticated with LegitGrails as I do all bags I purchase through a third party provider, this check came back as a fake bag. I offered Cosette the opportunity to replace the bag with a genuine Prada bag that I could authenticate with a third part or provide a refund - on the 22.1 they finally came back with the offer of either a store credit or a refund - 'Following our review, we can confirm that this matter is eligible for resolution via either a store credit or a refund, in accordance with our returns framework. A like-for-like exchange will not be facilitated where third-party authentication is relied upon as a condition of acceptance.' I accepted the offer of the refund and sent the back bag, this under ACL is a 'contract', in the form of an offer being made of a refund and acceptance when I responded accepting the refund and subsequently sending the bag back to them - I received a response on the 29.1 stating they would not honour this contract : 'After a comprehensive review, the item has been deemed not to meet the criteria required for a refund under our Returns Policy. As such, we are unable to approve a monetary reimbursement on this occasion.' I have also noted that these same bags on their website are now further reduced being 50% off with an extra 10% off for a limited time - make of that what you will as the store advised me this is a 'a subsequent promotional campaign'. I have been in contact with Fair Trading and intend to make an NCAT application should the matter not be resolved in a timely manner.
UPDATED: contacted PayPal disputes and was able to get my money back in full through them.

Never buying from this company again! People please be aware, firstly the bags I ordered arrived & I was not happy with them i contact cossette they ignore my e-mails & then after weeks reply and say I am trying to get a change of mind refund but that's not the case, they took it upon themselves to refund me credit into their account so I can buy more bags!! I also noticed the bags i purchased being more expensive then the original brand was saling it for, also the bags looked FAKE to me!

I purchased a Prada bag, but it did not come with a box and appeared inauthentic. I paid for an independent authentication service, which confirmed that the bag is counterfeit. I requested a refund by email. The seller delayed their response and ultimately refused the refund, claiming the item is authentic. They are now ignoring my emails.

I purchased a Givenchy Antigona bag from Cosette in 2017. When I recently attempted to sell it, I was informed that the item could not be accepted due to major concerns about its authenticity, and I was penalised as a result.

For the past month, I have contacted Cosette numerous times and have received nothing but the same generic replies. There has been no genuine action, no accountability, and a complete refusal to allow an independent authentication — which is extremely troubling.

Cosette continues to hide behind a seven-day return policy, but consumer rights are not limited by a company’s internal rules. When an item’s authenticity is questioned, that issue overrides any standard return timeframe. I am entitled to a proper remedy.

I am demanding a full refund. I have been more than reasonable, and Cosette has had ample time to address this. I expect them to take responsibility and resolve this matter immediately.

Over the years I managed to purchase a few designer handbags from COSETTE at amazing prices. Delivery is always quick and the packaging, so beautiful! Will always return to this e-boutique for a trusted and exceptional experience 💓

I also want to add that in a statement by Cosette in 2023 - in response to proposed Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and A Current Affair Reporting:
“ Cosette conducts quality control and authenticates goods independently by third parties.”
“ Cosette also provides customers with the ability to request an individual third-party authenticity certificate at purchase” - this was not a service offered to me when I purchased my bag.
“Cosette undertook reauthentication of the goods with Authenticate First and Legitgrails, which again authenticated the goods”. - So LegitGrails is good enough for Cosette to use but not good enough for a customer? Interesting!

if Cosette are so sure of the authenticity of their products, why are you refusing to provide me with written evidence of authenticity? Why did my bag arrive with no guarantee or verified authenticity certificate/documentation? Unless you can provide written evidence on your end that the bag is guaranteed 100% authentic eg provide certificate, the bag is considered counterfeit. I also didn’t know Gucci made bags with crooked writing and crooked locks. It’s the first “authentic” Gucci bag I’ve seen with incorrect font, crooked serial number and crooked lock.

Edited for response to Cosette 17/11/25: Yes - LegitGrail is one team I have been in touch with to authenticate the bag who use hybrid Authentication, blending expert human insight and AI precision for accuracy of over 99.3%. In addition to LegitGrails, I have had 3 other separate teams look over my bag and another team in person - all have confirmed the bag is counterfeit outlining the same discrepancies. I have also physically compared the bag to an authentic bag where the differences in my bag can clearly be seen. Additionally, the QR code inside the bag does not scan through the GUCCI app to confirm authenticity. The crooked serial numbers on the leather tag also do not match up properly to an authentic Gucci mini marmont bag.

Beware! Despite the company saying all their products are 100% authentic, my two purchases were counterfeit after going through an independent authentication assessment. I purchased a Gucci belt and more recently a Gucci mini marmont bag - both fake! Company refuse to help because it’s past the 7day refund period and have refused to provide me with written documentation to show the authenticity on their end. The lock isn’t even straight on the bag!

I do most of shopping online and have found Cosette to be super quick. I receive the items within a week. I will continue to go to Cosette website before any order.

I’m so disappointed by my experience with Cosette. After much deliberation and back and forth with Cosette via email, I was reassured that the Prada Re-Edition 2005 Nylon bag I was interested in purchasing was authentic and unused.
When the bag arrived, I knew something wasn’t right. Firstly, the dust bag it came in had several yellow stains on it, but more concerning was the differences between the current bag (which I’d viewed in store at Prada that week), and the bag that I received.

The silver chain was dull and brassy looking, and not shiny like the one in the store, and the nylon strap was different and had no button to attach the mini pouch to it. I was certain it was fake, so I requested a refund, which was refused and instead I was offered a store credit - obviously no use to me when I’d lost complete trust in Cosette, and I just wanted my money back so I could save up for the real thing at Prada!

I expressed my dissatisfaction and mistrust and was eventually told that the bag I had bought was authentic, but an older model, made in 2020! No wonder it was cheaper than the current one, it’s 5 years old and unsellable by Prada! This fact was never advertised by Cosette and I feel like I’ve been completely conned. Had I known I was buying a bag that was 5 years old and not the current edition, I would've spent the extra dollars and bought it from the Prada store.
Despite voicing my disappointment and given the circumstances and false advertising, Cosette refused to give me a refund, despite me pleading with them multiple times. So disappointed and will never shop with them again.

Bought a Gucci belt from Cosette which tarnished badly on the buckle within 2 months of buying it! I complained to the team and haven’t received a response eventhough I’ve chased 3 times! It cannot be a genuine Gucci and I’m so disappointed!

I purchased two Prada bags and an LV belt from Cosette, and all of them turned out to be fake. I’m shocked and frustrated that this company is still operating despite so many complaints from others. It’s unacceptable to mislead customers like this, especially when luxury prices are involved. Please be careful and do your research before buying from them.

WARNING - You may lose thousands of dollars on resale value! I had purchased 2 bags from Cosette over the last few years.

I have just tried reselling one of the bags to a reputable reseller in Sydney CBD who has advised that they can't accept bags from Cosette due to concerns over authenticity "we have been in the unfortunate position many times of identifying items as replica ones that have been purchased from Cosette, so we hope you can understand our position." I also can not sell the bag through other means due to lack of paperwork. Now instead of being able to sell the bag for $1500. I have no options.

Concern number 2-
The circumstances around the purchase of my second bag raises questions as to the authenticity of the product.
- At the time of purchase of the bag I asked about certification and the girl working in the store mentioned how it wasn't really necessary and only important if I was planning on selling the bag and why would I want to do that. It was also mentioned that I could go home and think about it and that if I still wanted the authenticity "formality" that I could request it at a later date. I should have been more insistent at the time and now am definitely questioning why that was the response as it appears that this is not actually the case.
- I have also looked at the 'paperwork' that was included with the bag. There are 2 La cura del prodotto cards, both with different numbers on the back. This is definitely questionable and not something I have had an issue with any of my purchases made directly from Gucci.

Posting this as a warning to anyone who is considering. Pay a few extra hundred $ and buy directly from the designer otherwise you may lose thousands later on.

If I could give zero stars I would. I had my YSL camera bag physically inspected by a third party who declared the bag fake. Go to a genuine retailer, pay the extra money and know that you are walking away with a genuine product.

I purchased a YSL bag from Cosette that was authenticated as being fake by two different reputable companies, one of which Cosette uses themselves supposedly. Yet in court the authentications were seen as meaningless & Cosette won. I got stuck with the counterfeit bag. Do not buy from this place.

After purchasing two bags from Cosette I had them authenticated. Both came back as fakes. I contacted Cosette who asked me to send them back to be authenticated by THIER own authentication service and surprise surprise they sent them back and said they were real. I have them taken them in person to be authenticated in Melbourne and they were returned as fake. They have not refunded any money and now I’m stuck with 2 fake bags and $2.5 k down the drain. I’m begging anybody who is thinking of buying from these crooks. DO NOT. I am devastated beyond belief.
