They sell counterfeit items and try to wiggle out of refunding. Do not purchase from here!!! Staff are rude and try and use false justifications to justify why their bags are so different to legitimate. Will use tactics to try and get away with not returning the products. The news story covers these issues, so do the many other reviews!

I purchased a Gucci bag from them that started to fall apart after a few months. Being in lockdown we fixed it ourselves. Then after concerns with the nah it came back as fake by an Authenticator. They are refusing to refund my money and became uncontactable via email and phone. so I paid them a visit in store and they threatened to call the police on me and that if I have an issue take it to the tribunal. What great customer service! Beware! Beware! Beware!

Was sent a fake Prada bag with a fake authenticity certificate. Upon request for Cosette I returned the bag for reauthentification. Months later and after requesting a refund, I have just received the fake bag back poorly packaged, missing items and without authenticity certificate. Would give 0 stars if possible

Wonder how Consumar affairs still allow them to trade online or the store in Sydney.

I purchased a Gucci bag from Cossete in 2021. When news surfaced on TV accusing them of selling fake products, I promptly emailed them in August 2023 requesting a refund as I don't support the market of fake products and I paid for am original product. Their response came two months later, expressing pride in selling authentic items etc, along with a refund form and a code to send the bag back and saying they would send to an Independent authenticator. I disagreed as at this point they could fake anything, including an Authenticator. Therefore, I did take the bag to an Authenticator myself and obviously the result was what I expected: a fake bag. So, after that and following their previous instructions, I returned the bag using the provided authorization code, the form of refund completed along with the bag. I know they received it because I have a track number. However, till now, I haven't received either my money or the bag. In fact, today they questioned my authenticator and they said they have a policy of refund and return items in place for 7 days. I guess when you sell fake products and you are exposed on national TV you should give people's right back anytime if you want to do the right thing and fix your issues.
It's disheartening when a store fails to uphold honesty, especially in the face of accusations. My advice: avoid purchasing from this store Cossete in Sydney-Australia at The Rocks.

I am receiving unsolicited spam despite never visiting their website or store. They have obtained my data and not just randomly emailed me, they have listed me as a subscriber without my authorisation.

I bought a YSL Lou bag approx 2.5 years ago. Had it authenticated by LAA mid 2023 and it was deemed counterfeit. Sent the bag back to Cosette where they had it for almost three months before issuing a refund. I was in the process of taking them to NCAT until they refunded me. Would not buy from them again.

DO NOT BUY FROM COSETTE if you don’t want to risk buying a fake. They sold me a YSL bag in late April with a fake authenticity certificate which was for a bag with a different serial number. I only discovered this when media reports came out where a person who bought the same bag around the same time I did confirmed that they were sold a fake. Cosette denied all claims but “selectively”refunded customers. They never answer their phone and only selectively answer their emails. They would not provide a refund without me taking the bag to their Sydney store so they could “review” it. I checked the authenticity certificate they provided with the bag and the QR code took me to a LegitGrails certificate with the same authentication certificate number but for a bag with a different serial number. After 5 weeks of course their “review” came back as genuine with no mention of how I could have a “genuine” bag with a different serial number to the QR code on the certificate they provided. Despite their claim they did not provide any evidence that the bag was genuine and refused to provide a refund even though my bag was unused and in the original packaging. As they could not give me any evidence the bag was genuine I offered for the bag to be authenticated by the manufacturer but they refused. You would think that as they sell under an “authenticity guarantee” on their web site they would not be afraid to have the bag authenticated by the manufacturer.
Many others have had similar experiences as you can see in the reviews. If you have bought a bag from Cosette and they provided an authenticity certificate please check the certificate and serial number and have the bag authenticated, then if you have evidence you should report them to the ACCC and the Dept of Fair Trading for violating Australian consumer law.

FAKE BAGS! DO NOT BUY. I had recently purchased a Prada Re-Edition Nylon Bag. Upon receiving this bag, one of the logo’s was crooked. I took the bag back into store to request a refund. I was told by the store staff that my bag was 100% genuine but if I wanted a refund, I would have to have the bag re-authenticated by whoever they use and if it came back fake, I would receive a refund. They told me I would need to leave the bag with them and it would take 10 business days… 12 weeks later with no communication, I still had not received a response after trying to contact them several times via email and phone.

I then forwarded the matter to fair trading and they got in contact with Cosette whose reply was “they are too busy and haven’t got to my bag yet but they will soon”. Finally 3 months later, I received an email saying that they had my bag re-authenticated and also traced back my bag to where it was originally purchased and it was deemed to be authentic. They provided me with no documentation to prove this and no re-authentication certificate.

I went ahead to complete my own authentication certificate for my bag as I was unhappy with this result and was still sceptical about the bag and the certificate came back as FAKE.

Cosette has now posted my bag back to me in the mail with no intention of providing me with a refund for my FAKE PURCHASE. I am still trying to get in contact with them once again to receive a refund and I will be taking this matter further as it is illegal to sell counterfeit goods.

If anyone is in a similar situation, please contact me. I am looking to start a Class Action Lawsuit against Cosette

I had concerns about the authenticity of a YSL bag due to the quality not being great after owning for several months and had it independently authenticated. The bag was identified as counterfeit and I requested a refund. After several months they replied and said they had confirmed the bag and provided not evidence it was genuine despite flaws and won’t be refunding. Do not buy from this store!!!

Absolutely fake products!! Shame on them and I can't believe after two years, Cosette is still trading. Every bad they sell is fake, after me taking multiple independent checks. Tried to sell to second-hand buyer and no one buy the bag because they are all fake bags! Shame on Cosette, never buy from their website!!!

Purchased a black Givenchy Antigona bag from Cosette / My Fashion republic which is a counterfeit item. I returned the bag as per Cosette’s written request so I could be provided a refund and they have subsequently ghosted me ignoring all emails and phone messages. I have not been refunded and they have stolen the counterfeit bag. I have today reported the theft matter to the NSW Police and also lodged a complaint with Fair Trading NSW. If a refund is not received by close of business 24th November 2023 I will also lodge a civil case against them.

I Purchased a YSL, had the bag authenticated with Legit Grails, the bag is fake. Cosette requested a return of the bag so they could undertake authentication by their company, now the bag is real. They explained no refund for authentic goods. That was August. Finally September they ask for my address to post the bag back but never did. Over 30 emails later, voicemails, messages to the social media pages with no response. In November I went to the store and spoke to the manager. She explained the authenticity certificates including the one they had completed, don't mean anything. 🤣 They blamed A CURRENT AFFAIR for the whole drama. I asked why I wasn't receiving any correspondence and why alongside with Luxify (the authentication company they use) can't you call or DM or leave comments. The rest of us know why though. In the end the manager then said she would put a request in for my bag to be released as it was marked as a duty free product even though I sent countless emails with my invoice that clearly stated the GST component. It was simply another excuse to not refund and not return. If they return our bags, we have our evidence back.

I won't hold my breath in regards to the bag being returned. The incompetence of the store manager and her inability to answer legitimate questions is laughable. Not even a sorry for your troubles, sorry for not responding to my last 30 emails and all my voicemails. Nothing.
Department of Fair trading is allowing this to continue despite millions of dollars in complaints.

WORST KIND OF HUMAN BEINGS. Purchase from the brands direct and enjoy the customer service you deserve when purchasing luxury items.

Purchased a Gucci handbag and after the ACA story sent it back for authentication and now have no bag and have not been issued a refund. THEY KEPT THE BAG THAT THEY REQUESTED I RETURN. I bought 2 bags which were delivered promptly however, given the press and no confirmation of its originality from the designer. After numerous emails, I received an email confirmation that I would receive a full refund upon return of the bags, which I did on the 28/7 and 1/9). As you can see from the dates, this was nearly 4 months ago and I still have not received a refund and my emails (numerous) to Cosette have gone unanswered. So I am still out of pocket for bags which I do not have. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I purchased a YSL bag from Cosette on 10/04/2023. I sent this bag for an authentic check from Real Authentication, which turned out to be “Fake”.
I also attached the certificate. Cosette claimed that its product was genuine or guaranteed to be fully refunded. I requested a refund and sent the bag back to Cosette on 30/07/2023. They keep saying they will get back to me. However, it has been over three months, and I keep following it up, but there is no hope. I also heard many complaints, and this company was in many articles and current affairs for trading Counterfeit products. Stay away!

We are all abandoned by Cosette and the Australian authority in this scam. I got my Gucci belt authenticated, of course, turned out fake. I regret that I didn't authenticate 6 months ago before the scandal was uncovered. When I opened the box with the belt inside back in March, the first feeling was the smell of cheap plastic from the belt. I had some doubt but thought that it is a big company. It will not scam customers. In October, I contacted Fair Trade NSW about my issue, I was advised to send the belt back to Cosette. Cosette confirmed that they received my belt and will verify it. Now after a month, they no longer respond to my follow-up emails. I am losing both money and the belt. Tribunals, civil court said they don't handle this matter. Going to court will cost me more than my loss. The government doesn't do anything. That's why Cosette is still trading and scamming customers. I don't know what to do know rather sharing my terrible experience here which I know many others are also in the same boat. The only way is stay together to take them to the police or court so that justice is exercised.

Website is a total scam.
My order is so faulty and I can’t get in contact with anyone to refund me. They stopped replying to emails and their contact number is disconnected. Do not bother wasting your money here.

Purchased a YSL camera Lou bag from Cosette.
Took it to YSL store and compared to the real thing and mine from cosette does not match. I was advised I had purchased a non authentic ysl bag.
Cosette asked me to return bag. That was 2 months ago. No bag NO REFUND. Have asked numerous times for a refund.
Will be contacting fair trading again and the police to investigate why they are withholding my money. People need to be aware that you can take matters before the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal. If there are others who are in the same situation as me, as I believe there is hundreds, please let’s take action together.

Like many others I have had my YSL bag independently reviewed and it's FAKE. Cosette asked me to send the bag back, and then they acknowledged that it had been received. After 2 months of me sending emails and calling (but with no answer) they tell me they are going to refund. It's now been over a month, no refund and NO bag. So not only have i paid for a FAKE bag, I don't even have a fake bag anymore!!! I do not understand how they get away with this as it feels like downright THEFT now?
