This was such an incredibly well organized and informative online training. Over the years I have taken many online courses for various jobs and this was by far one of the best. The combination of text, visuals, and videos was so helpful. Steph was wonderful and the support staff was always accessible yo answer any questions that I had along the way.

Such an informative course with an abundance of content. Loved the mix between texts and videos. Will continue to reference this course as I go through my teachings.

From beginning to end. I was, and continue to be supported academically, professionally, and through community. The study of yoga with this team has been in depth, on all topics.

I have absolutely no complaint, all good praise. I will continue to look to this school for ongoing education.

The Online Yoga School 200h Teacher Training course was an incredible learning experience and yoga journey for me. The content is thorough and complete, exploring all the essentials such as philosophy, anatomy, postural knowledge, conduct of the individual, teaching approaches, business ethics and ideas, consciousness of discrimination and tolerance and much more. It's a practical experience and there are plenty of opportunities to share thoughts, meaning and ideas on different platforms. Steph is a great example and her gentle voice guides you through with care. All questions are welcome and the team is very responsive. Honoured to have been a part of this meaningful experience.

I completed my 200 hour yoga training with Steph, Online Yoga School ( a Yoga Alliance Registered School RYS). I found the program to be enjoyable, the content to be rich, and the presentation interesting. I broadened my knowledge of yoga philosophy and gained valuable practical experience as well - something that surprised me in an online class. The course offers visual text study materials along with instructional videos, audio, and opportunities for live events. Included is an asana cue card download of over 100 asanas - very useful and welcome to a new yoga teacher. The instructional videos are by Steph, other experienced yoga teachers, and anatomy demos are by a physical therapist. I learned a lot, I deepened my own practice, and I am excited to continue my yoga journey. I forgot to mention, I shopped around, and not only was this course recommended by my yoga teacher and mentor (she takes continuing ed classes), but the course is more affordable than most! I highly recommend this course!

This course was more than I ever expected it to be. I was totally enthralled from day one. Learning all about the philosophy of yoga and the anatomy was very in depth and interesting. It really pushed me both intelectually and physically but I enjoyed it immensely. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is thinking about becoming a teacher or just wanting to deepen their knowledge. First class and Steph is a great teacher she covers everything.

200 hour online teacher training:

for reference, I have kept up a daily practice for about 20 years. my previous knowledge of pose names was extremely limited as well as history, and philosophy.

I completed this training in about 6 weeks, while maintaining a twice daily practice (around 2 hours); studying, reviewing the materials, taking notes, taking tests, and watching videos took a bunch of time, but easily manageable. I was not working at the time, and probably spent around 20-40 hours a week working through the course materials.

pros: self paced, no scheduling issues, considerable amount of information laid out in an easy to follow format. you can pick and choose where to spend your time on this course (you still need to complete everything, but can dedicate more time to concentrating on the info you like, and breeze through the less interesting, or the stuff you already know). Steph was a great teacher! for the price, this was waaaay more interesting than I expected. I was skeptical about an online training, but I would take this again in a heartbeat (and I can, because you get to keep the class for life and retake it as many times as you want). you get out of it what you put into it.

cons: not in person (feedback is available through zoom or by posting videos for comments) - doing a 200 hour training alone might not suit everyone. the biggie for me was sitting in front of the computer for hours and hours (though some of the longer vids and webinars are easy to listen along to while making dinner or stretching).

My experience with Steph and Online Yoga School was absolutely positive. I needed a way to take classes as well as be able to study while traveling around. This course was easily accessible as well as it was extremely affordable. Steph also replied within a couple days or less to any of my questions. My homework and assignments were checked promptly, as well. The coursework was explained well as well as it was organized. I found the Facebook group was a great source to go to for questions also, and a great place for my resources a supporting community that really inspired me. I have grown so much by taking this course, I have learned the fundamentals I needed to grow as a yogi and a practitioner of yoga. I have much more to practice and learn, but overall I felt so happy taking this course and learning what I did, and again, at such a great price.

Thorough and gradual -yet highly-efficient Teacher Training Program. Sumptuous amounts of well-structured study materials, bliss of community networking and drive of positive social interactions. All aimed at your best performance.

I seriously cannot recommend Online Yoga School for teacher training. This course was so full of wisdom and beautifully put together. The base content was great, and the weekly webinars jam packed full on info. Steph has a wonderful teaching style and her passion really shines through in her teaching. If you are thinking of training as a Yoga Teacher..THIS is where you need to start!

Steph’s RYT-200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification course was extremely convenient, user-friendly, and informative. Not only do I feel better prepared to go out into the world and teach, but I was able to learn at a pace that works for me. I also found the staff to be helpful and responsive, and the Facebook community is a great place to meet and interact with other Yogis. I highly recommend!

Definitely recommend this course! The price is unbeatable for the quality of the 200hr training. I've felt so welcome that I stuck with the program and I am now enrolled in the 300hr. This Yoga Alliance registered online training is well organized and very thorough. The student dashboard is very user-friendly, as well. When I had a question during my training, I was able to send a message, get a response quickly, and they take a very personal approach with emails and messages. I learned so much from this training and would highly recommend to anyone looking to further their yoga teacher training.

Highly recommend this course! The layout is very clear, it is well structured, the assessments are useful not only for the course but as practical tools while teaching yoga too.
