I found Craftamo through my desire to take up watercolor painting again. Sarah Burns videos on YouTube led me to my first Craftamo purchase. I am pleased with everything about my experience as a customer. I purchased a few brushes and came back for more.

Corrections on my account, Craftamo is not based in England, that's on me for being a dumbass and getting information wrong.
I have since had several responses, emails and correspondence from the company who apologised for any issues, kept an eye on the tracking and then proceeded to escalate with Evri when there was still no delivery several days later despite the delivery company stating it was 'being delivered today' (for the 5th time). Funnily enough, the parcel was then delivered that day to the postal stop I had requested.
I have my brushes now and can confirm they survived. The quality seems good from what I've used of them so far. The box they came into was sadly battered to all hell, so I'm knocking a star off for that. I'm fairly sure that's Evri using my parcel as a football mind you. Most of my issues are based with Evri at this point. We have historical issues with them in the south of England and the tracking website was down for Evri as well making the whole ordeal even more stressful than it needed to be.
That being said, big thanks to Dan for personally looking at my case and sorting things out. He was very professional and kept his word about keeping track of the delivery and escalating if there was no improvement.

I really, really wanted to like this company. I don't like leaving bad reviews, or 1 stars, but considering I don't even have to product to say if it was at least good or not, I don't have much of a choice.
Sarah burns is one of my favourite gouache artists and when I saw her video on the restock her her travel set, I caved and brought it. It wasn't cheap for synthetic brushes, but it was supporting an artist I looked up to, and it was my birthday month, so I decided to treat myself.
I made my order on the 12th, but had realised the Shopify auto log in had 'auto-corrected' my shipment address to my old one (even though I'd put in the correct one originally). I emailed Craftamo immediately after making the order. They shipped in 2 days, I didn't get an email response until 15th. Orders already in transit, they can't do anything, 'but you can try contacting the courier when it's closer to transit'. But hey, the email had lots of emoji sparkles (and not even an apology), very professional. Strike one.
So I got onto Evri (and feel nervous cause Evri does NOT have a good reputation), and organise to have it dropped at a parcel pick up point.
A week goes by, then another. No update, parcels still 'on it's way'. I expected a bit of a delay because of Christmas, but it was supposed to be 48h tracked shipping and it's now getting silly. My birthdays been and gone (28th), and I'm still down a £60 paint brush set that cost another £10 in shipping from the same country. Strike 2.
I go onto Evri to see about contacting them for the delay, it just says contact the seller. I email again, and get an automated response back saying they'll attempt to respond to my email in 24 hours. That was on the 29th. It's now the 2nd. No response from Craftamo, and now Evri's tracking won't even accept my tracking number. Strike 3.
At this point, they can cancel the whole shipment (if it even exists anymore) and give me my money back. I won't be making another purchase from Craftamo, and if I don't hear back I will be escalating. I've had less problems from fake sellers on ebay.

I purchased Emma’s Travel Brushes and I’m really impressed.The brushes are beautifully made, hold water well, and perform just as well as full-size brushes despite being compact.Perfect for painting on the go.

I subscribed to the Emily Hughes brush collection for a 6-month term. The company missed their own shipping deadline of December 15th without any notification. On December 21st, I contacted them myself because the package still hadn't been shipped.
I requested to cancel my subscription. They initially tried o claim a $110 penalty, stating that all subscriptions are for 12 months, even though I specifically signed up for 6 months. While I was clarifying the penalty costs, they spent few days trying to persuade me to stay instead of processing my request.
I clearly stated my desire to cancel three times. Despite this, they shipped the package on December 24th—ignoring my repeated requests. After it they charged me $55 and only then officially canceled the subscription.
I am deeply disappointed and I would advise anyone to think a hundred times before signing up for a subscription through this service.
UPDATE TO CLARITY: The information stated in the company’s public response does not reflect the actual facts.
The first box costs $65 and was charged in September at the time of purchase, as shown in my payment records. The subsequent $55 charge was applied later and was explicitly confirmed in writing by Craftamo support as an "early termination fee" in our private correspondence.
UPDATE 2:
A few days later, a company representative contacted me, and they processed a full refund of the penalty fee.

I have used Craftamo subscription service for some months. I love the art boxes, I find the quality of the watercolour paints and brushes to be very good. It's a treat each month to receive an artificial box.
The customer service responed quickly to email queries and are helpful.

Box never arrived. I preordered an artist box i August 2025 where the money also was drafted from my account. The box was scheduled to be shipped mid October. However I didn't receive a shipment notice until late October. Now, on December 19th, I have yet to receive the box. I was told late November, that a new box would automatically ship by November 28th, but that didn't happen. I have written several emails to the support team but they are not responding. I would not order from here again.
After my above review I have been in daily contact with Craftamo to resolve the delivery issues.

I got brushes set and one of the brushes inside the box has something white on it all over the bristles which I think is mold. I emailed the support to request a replacement and left a support request through their website but I got no reply at all. It’s been at least a week. I payed extra for protection during ordering.
Update: After I contacted the artist (the one who created the set) who was really understanding and helped to reach out to Craftamo team, I got a reply from the support and they’ve sent me a replacement. I’ll update the review again once I get it.
Update: I got the replacement set. It was ok. Came quicker than I expected. Meanwhile I wiped the damaged brush and I think it’s still usable, a lot of the white things wiped off. I don’t know yet how it’ll perform when painting. Overall, it was a lot of hassle, but in the end I got two sets of good brushes that I’m going to use. Thank you for resolving the issue.

I received from Craftamo my 12 Days of Christmas with Emma Lefebvre and loved everything in the box. I put the watercolor paint brushes to work right away. The quality of the brushes are superior to some of the other watercolor brushes I have. Would definitely go back to Craftamo to check out other items when needed.

Every product I've bought from Craftamo has been top notch. The brushes they made are my favorite, the course I took was amazing, and I even enjoy the paper that came each month. That's a common place to cut corners, but no, this paper was excellent and perfectly suited for the projects. Customer service has been excellent as well!
So this review makes sense, I've been a Craftamo customer for quite some time. I've gotten a monthly subscription box, a full brush set, and a few other odds and ends here and there. I'm about to start another monthly lesson series and am truly looking forward to it.

Ordering from Craftamo is seamless. Delivery is quick. Products are high quality! It’s a win-win-win! The artists they partner with are excellent. I particularly like the Emma Lefebvre brushes I purchased. Use them everyday. And their paper is a great quality. I love painting on it.

Craftamo did reach out and apologised for the mistake and refunded me the discounted amount.

Everything i said was still true
- they did offer me a discount
- they did still take extra money out of my account without my consent or any form of acknowledgement
I think they should probably email or inform the client they will be taking money for a subscription just so that people are aware and can contact them if they have any issues. I will say when they do contact me they appear to genuinely care and want to resolve any issues but in saying this they recently flagged my review via trust pilot as they feel it contained defamatory content. As mentioned above they still removed money from my account without my consent or knowledge and I have the bank statements to prove this. Nevertheless I have amended my review. I dont think they are fraudulent but they made a grave mistake which cost me alot of money and stress but they have tried their best to remedy this and I am grateful for that.

I WOULD LIKE TO STATE THAT THIS REVIEW IS PURELY A REFLECTION OF CRAFTAMO SERVICE NOT SARAH BURNS. HER KIT IS AMAZING AND WORTH 10 STARS BUT IM HIGHLY DISPLEASED WITH THE SERVICE FROM CRAFTAMO.
I purchased Sarah Burns box subscription kit in January 2025. I paid the 6 month subscription price which at the time was £224.I enjoyed the kit after a few months hence I contacted craftamo requesting to purchase the full kit in April 2025. craftamo kindly obliged and actually said they would give me a small discount which was great so in April 2025, £180 was taken out of my account . I was pleased I had purchased the whole year and could continue with my lessons.
However in July 2025 craftamo then took another £200 from my account without my knowledge which is just plain outrageous.
I was incredibly confused and angry and had now paid £600 for a kit that at most, was priced around £468 ( this was based on the monthly subscription of £39 pm) . I contacted them and they said they would look into it.
This morning I received a refund of £180.
Although they refunded me, they refunded me the discount they had offered me in ApriI . I mean why even bother offering me the discount in the first place and why are you taking out extra money without my consent. I'm incredibly dissapointed that a company that prides itself on customer service would do this. Its absolutely appalling. To add insult to injury I checked the price of the box subscription and its now been reduced to £ 193 for the 6 months meaning I've overpaid by £38. To some people thats not much but as the uk is in a cost of living crisis, £ 38 would help with me and my families costs.
Craftamo have quite literally lied to me and taken from my account . I don't understand why their pricing varies so significantly from month to month and why they think its ok to offer discounts and then take them back and most importantly to literally take money from people without any form of acknowledgement( an email would have helped).
Im highly dissapointed and I hope they do not do this to other people in the future.

The products are good and Sarah Burns curated excellent boxes with lovely tutorials. Unfortunately the dropshipping format of Craftamo itself has produced a tonne of issues for me. Firstly you can't just buy all 12 boxes for one lot of shipping and shipping to Australia is very expensive with one of the WORST couriers as the only option. I have multiple times now received duplicate products and am still waiting to recieve two boxes that I'm due to get me up to date with the products I should have. The customer service has been frustrating and inadequate. Because it's dropshipping, if your item is returned to the warehouse (due to poor couriers for instance), it will be destroyed which is incredibly wasteful. Wouldn't pay for this experience from Craftamo again.
Craftamo apparently tried to flag my review for harmful or defamatory content but their own response acknowledges my discontent. I am happy to provide evidence of the emails I received and how often I received the incorrect products. I've said nothing untrue in my review.

Each month I am already waiting for the Sarah Burns Box. The brushes for gouache inside are the best, I ever found, the colors are brilliant and the paper is strong and doesn't buckle to much. And the lessons with Sarah give great help and ideas even for me as an advanced painter.
Not everything always works perfect with sending and shipping the boxes, but - hey- we all are human beings and shit happens. For me important in these cases: I always get answers and help from the Craftamo guys and finally it works out fine. Therefore the complete five stars from me!!!

Brushes I purchased are called Bloom Wedge Brushes. They are really lovely. So good, I have purchased 6 sets. As a learner they are easy to use, can do many different strokes, go heavy or light touch due to the wedge. Made it easier to follow " Let's paint this" videos put up by Jen on Instagram who I follow. Would recommend them to anyone who likes painting florals, leaves, botanics. Also cannot say enough about how helpful Support (Mau) is in helping out with a problem I was having with my account. She was extremely quick and responsive in fixing up my issue. It has been a pleasure purchasing from Craftamo.

I saw an ad for craftamo on Facebook and went to their page and was very impressed with what they had created. I ordered a set of brushes straight away and received them after a while and I am very happy with the brushes. I have thrown away other brushes I have used and now only use these from Craftamo.

I gave this experience 1 star only because the paint and brushes I received were good quality. I had to contact customer support multiple times to be able to view the tutorial and they kept sending me messages about paying for the full year in advance, which I was unable to afford. The shipping costs were expensive and I never received my second box at all. Dan contacted me about my experience and I shared my review with him and my review was not accepted because it was not about the product. So clearly they just want to accept positive reviews. I would never order anything from this company again.

The brushes are ok, they look like they are good quality. However, shipping, which was expensive took forever to arrive. Furthermore, the tracking number they provided did not track the package. It only showed on a map my address and the day the package shipped, but no real information or estimated delivery date.
When contacted customer service to inquire about my package, nobody responded. This is despite the fact their automatic acknowledgement says someone will respond within 24hs. I am still waiting for an explanation for the delayed shipping, even though I contacted them at least twice within the last three weeks.
This company does not give me trust.
