A few months ago, I realised that we needed to upgrade the phone system in our office.
We all had old fashioned phone handsets on our desks, and in a small office when someone’s phone rang the ringing tone disturbed the whole team. When we were on calls we had to hold the phone, which made for some awkward one-handed typing.
Then we switched to Blackstar Solutions. Now we have small hands-free headsets to make and receive phonecalls, rather than desk phones. When someone receives a call, they hear a discreet tone on their computer, rather than a phone ringing around the office. We don’t need to dial numbers anymore because we can type them in on screen. And best of all we can use an app to make and receive calls on our mobiles with the same numbers as in the office, to provide a seamless service for clients.
The team made the transition to the new system very easy, and it has run without problems ever since.

Blackstar Solutions, and particularly the excellent Simon Floyd, came to my assistance out of hours on a Saturday to help solve an urgent telecoms problem we encountered in the midst of a national advertising campaign. I can't overstate how reassuring it was to hear from Simon so quickly in reply to my plea for help at 9am on a Saturday morning. I recently approached Blackstar about my business mobile phone contracts and the experience has been 5 star, from start to finish!

After my initial enquiry I was assigned a dedicated contact who asked me the relevant questions to find the best network and available plans for my needs. This included ensuring my 3rd party answerphone and transcripting service was compatible. I selected a plan that not only provided the business with more mobile data but at a lower cost too!

Every step of the way my contact Chloe, was available to answer any question I raised. She contacted me to communicate when to expect the SIM cards and was again there on the day of the port, to assist with any issues. Blackstar Solutions delivered our new phone system. We migrated away from ageing, deprecated internal phone system to Microsoft Teams with Phone System.

The Blackstar team were professional and punctual throughout. Excellent communication from their engineers, who knew exactly the timescales and issues we were facing. Our timescales were extremely tight, and they bent over backwards to get our numbers ported before we moved into our new office. Would definitely recommend!

Blackstar have managed our mobile phone requirements for a number of years, after a disastrous experience with a competitor. They have been efficient, professional and astute and we are on the best tariffs we could be on, thanks to their expertise. I don't have to worry about this aspect of my business - they do that for me!
