Crowntours レビュー

Very very good and informative, we had Annalisa was great, very knowledgeable , walked us through the history so that we lived the era and understood deeper the concept behind the Roman ruling and the colloseum. I recommend touring with them and the private tour was very much worth iy

We toured today (14/08/26) with Alexandra in Rome, Italy.

We toured the Colloseum, the Roman Forum and Pallatine Hill. The tour lasted approx 2/2.5hours and Alexandra was fantastic. Incredibly knowledgeable and only happy to help!

Grazie Mille Alexandra, from your friends in England!

This trip was the highlight of our visit to Rome this week. On booking, I was sceptical of the price but it was worth every single penny and then some! The group was just my friend and I, and another family of four. The van was comfortable and the AC a much needed essential in the heat we experienced! Our drivers Alessandro & Joshua were fantastic. Excellent English, considerate to our needs all day, friendly, and a great sense of humour. Our guide within Pompeii, Grace, was equally as excellent. Our breakfast stop in the bakery was so lovely, with lots of time, and the pastries were huge and SO delicious.
After this we were given a bottle of water each and headed into the remains of Pompeii. Pompeii itself was breathtaking and our 2 hours there were full to the brim and we still only covered a small portion. You need several days to see it all, but the experience was incredible. We felt so moved and very informed by Grace, whose passion for her home shone through so much.
There were surprise treats, stunning photo opportunities, an incredible sea side meal in the most beautiful spot. I could go on and on. Alessandro & Joshua were always ahead of the game, offering to take photos and suggesting the best spots, checking if we were comfortable or needed a bathroom, organising our food orders, making a playlist for the scenic drive down the coast. There was nothing they didn’t think of and nothing was ever too much. Thank you so much for the most perfect day.

We did the coloseum tour with Crown tours on 12 Aug 2026.
Very professional and well organized.
We give 5 stars pimarily due to our guide Damiano who was friendly, personable and interested in helping
everyone in our tour group.
Recommended.

Thorough tour was so worth it. Matteo was excellent! Amazing guide and great information shared! Highly recommend.

Absolutely unacceptable experience.

Less than 24 hours before the tour, I was suddenly informed that the tour could not take place due to a “temporary connectivity issue” in the company’s system. What makes this even more unbelievable is that just three hours earlier, I had received messages from the company asking if I was ready for the tour and providing the meeting point details. How can a tour be confirmed and preparations be communicated just hours before, only to be cancelled at the last minute due to a system issue?

Because of this last-minute cancellation, I had to desperately search for another Auschwitz tour and was only able to find an alternative at the last minute. The replacement tour cost €50 more, and there was no compensation for this additional cost.

I completely understand that unexpected problems can happen, but this was a serious failure in availability management and communication. Cancelling an important tour less than 24 hours before departure, after repeatedly confirming the arrangements, is simply unacceptable.

Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this company.

We had our tour with Luisa, who was fantastic from beginning to end. It was a very hot time of day and she made sure we had regular stops in the shade. She was very knowledgeable and interactive with everyone. Would highly recommended

Teresa did a very good tour

Our guide was truly amazing very knowledgeable and made it fun and entertaining loved every minute of this tour

Had an excellent colosseum tour with Max today 07.08.2026 he was very knowledgeable and had a brilliant way of explaining the facts which brought a welcomed humour to the tour. Would definitely recommend Max and the tour. However, when we arrived we were told that our booking didn’t match the name on our legal documents this was made out to be a lot more than it should have causing some stress before entering which could of been handled better and made clearer upon booking. We entered with no issues regarding the shortening of our names.

We had an excellent tour of the Colosseum with Ken. He was organized and communicative. We learned so much!

Tour was lovely by Louisa. Super hot day 39 degrees! Great knowledge and was able to ask questions. Only down side is no time to look at the artefacts inside the colosseum. Felt rushed at times and you have to keep up with head if not you lose the audio

Beautiful sights, tour was great the guide was very knowledgeable.

Sarah was amazing!!
We went to Rome and visited the colosseum, after walking all day the day before we thought it would be the same but it was so much better. Sarah is very knowledgeable and friendly she went at a pace that suites everyone and stopped for water! Made everyone welcome and happy best tour we had in Rome definitely worth a go.
