The small claims court have sent CSD a decree to pay me however I still have not received payment. I will have to arrange HCEO enforcement to recover my funds next
They are thieves and scammers! It is hard to believe it has gotten to this point but I will not stop until I recover my funds

Repeat of what other people are experiencing, consigned £20k of items with this company..deliberately evasive or no responses..
Avoid this company at all costs..like others I’m now spending more money instructing solicitors..and am about to open a case with trading standards..as other people have said Legal seems to be the only way…

After another further email in which CSD have avoided any resolution - by blaming an ‘accounts’ team that I have found out are far more easily integrated to their system, and are regularly in correspondence (so it makes absolutely no sense that they would take over 4 months to reply to emails as soon as it comes to their legal requirement to pay, but would be able to very quickly respond in other scenarios), and indeed are actively avoiding making payments such as those to myself), I have had to give up on hope of payment through except if I pursue legal roots. I would advise anyone else to do the same. CSD can be shown to be aware they are lying regarding their payments. They will continue to lie to you, several other consignees have corroborated my story for me, they know they are doing it make no mistake, it is now sadly a very very unwise move to consign with them and buyers should be very aware that they are purchasing from active criminals, and consider if they are comfortable with this.

BEWARE, this company is highly fraudulent!
They sold my dress but have refused to pay me or reply to communication. I am now seeking legal action to get the costs as per our signed contract back.
They base their business model on the concept that you will walk away or forget about it as it's too much hassle - but they certainly picked the wrong person to do that to!!!

I left a Louis Vuitton bag wide CSD OVER 2 years ago, they won’t give me an update if it’s sold or they still have it. Numerous email exchanges where they say their sales team are looking into it… still no update since February. I wish I’d read these reviews before I left my bag with them. It’s appalling. I’m now going to trading Standards and Watch Dog.

As reflected in many other reviews, CSD has still not paid me for an item that appears to have been sold before January 2026. I have emailed several teams multiple times, yet I have received no update.

I recently noticed that the Notting Hill store has closed, and the notice on the door states that the landlord has withheld the items inside, which suggests serious liquidity issues. It is extremely disappointing that a business in this condition continues to accept consignments from customers.
I genuinely question how the management team can justify owing so much money to customers who trusted CSD with their items.

My wife sold four items - they are not on the website anymore - and CSD are just not paying and are not responding to emails. It seemed a good idea but sadly they are a scam - avoid.

I have been speaking to support almost every day and they are chasing the account departments who are ignoring emails. We will be sending a Letter Before Legal Action this week.

I was led to believe that the payment was due to be made soon but still I have received nothing.
I am now ready to file the official legal proceeding and I will be sending out the Letter Before Legal Action today.

I consigned several luxury items with CSD in November and December 2025. One item sold in January 2026 and I have still not been paid the proceeds. The remaining items have been held for over six months with no meaningful update on their status despite repeated chasing. Responses from the team have been vague and promises of payment have not materialised. I have now had to resort to formal legal action. Avoid if you are considering consigning valuable items.

SCAMMERS! I left a brand new Chanel 25 on December 25, and in February I asked for it back as I had a buyer. They said they did not have it because it was sold. Since then, they have ignored me. I went to the shop in Marylebone where I initially left the bag, and they said they could not help me and that I had to contact them by email. The pricing team replied that they would check with the sales team, and I received NO REPLY! That is all I have heard for the past 6 months. Nobody responds, and they ignore me. I have hired a lawyer and will take legal action against these THIEVES and SCAMMERS who just disappear with the goods and never pay back. I am sorry I did not check reviews beforehand, as they seem to be professionals at stealing! They should be closed and prosecuted for theft.

I dropped off a coat here several months ago, was told it sold but was never paid. I visited the store several times and called customer service several more. They always assure me I will be paid but never do. Given the number of 1 star reviews with the exact same complaint this appears to be their business model. Completely dishonest vendor. If you choose to purchase from them know you are likely wearing stolen property!!!

Extremely disappointed! I have dropped off multiple bags and jewelry items at the store in Marylebone late Feb 2026 and till date I have no idea what’s going on! I called, emailed and messaged numerous times but they have stopped answering me all together

The staff is amazing, like a lot the store aesthetic; they have a good selection of products.

Under no circumstances should you consign your items with them. I chased for payment for over a year, and had to file a Letter Before Claim (i.e. threaten to go to Small Claims court) for them to finally pay. Absolute SCAM.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from CSD. I entrusted them with three high-end items to sell, one of which was sold in December. Despite this, I have yet to receive any payment, several months later.

Attempts to contact the company have been consistently unsuccessful, as I have been unable to reach anyone by phone or receive a meaningful response through other channels. This lack of communication is unacceptable, particularly given the value of the items involved.

At this point, I have serious concerns not only about the outstanding payment, but also about the whereabouts and security of my remaining items that have not yet been sold.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to exercise caution before using this service.

UPDATE as of 7th May in response to CSD:

Interestingly, CSD responded to my review to say I'd been paid and to paint them in a good light. What they failed to mention is that this only happened because I went to the Marylebone store in person and refused to leave until the issue was dealt with. I had to repeatedly push for answers and become visibly frustrated before anyone took meaningful action.

While I was there, another customer came into the store saying they were still owed £3,000 after waiting for over a year. The atmosphere and overall situation gave the clear impression of a company in serious difficulty. Based on what I witnessed, I would not be surprised if administration is around the corner.

For anyone currently owed money by CSD: do not accept vague promises or excuses. If you want any realistic chance of being paid, I would strongly suggest going into the store in person while you still can. I dealt with a calm and polite member of staff, and I genuinely felt sorry for them, but the reality is that nothing was resolved until I insisted that payment be made there and then.

Do not expect responses via WhatsApp or phone calls — in my experience, they simply do not engage. The money finally landed in my account last night, after months of chasing. An exhausting and deeply unprofessional experience from start to finish, though I am relieved to have finally recovered the money owed to me.

Update on payment
After sending the company a letter of final notice for my payment before legal action this is the response I got by email
‘ Thank you for your email.

I am sorry for the continued delay and frustration this matter has caused.

Your case has now been escalated again to our accounts team as a priority, and we are currently working to resolve and finalise your outstanding payment. We anticipate that this will be fully resolved within the next two weeks.

We appreciate your patience while we complete the necessary internal checks and processing, and we will revert to you as soon as we have confirmation.

This email makes no sense to why their payment to consignment cannot be processed.

I also called the head office and spoke to ‘sophie’ who could not confirm when a manager would be available to speak to. Her response was ‘the managers come and go and have no set hours to when they are in the office’

For anyone planning to consign with this company please do not!

You will never get payment for your item once you drop it off.

This is not a legitimate consignment business. This is SYSTEMATIC, CALCULATED THEFT.

I consigned luxury items in January 2026. MONTHS of complete silence. When I finally said I would come to collect my items back - ONLY THEN did they suddenly "discover" my items had been sold. They had no intention of telling me otherwise.
It is now May. I have not received a single penny.

THE ENTIRE COMPANY IS TRAINED IN THIS SCAM:
From the store staff to customer service on the phone - they all have SCRIPTED ANSWERS.

They've created layers upon layers of fake accountability: store managers, head of operations, accounting team, sales team. ALL COMPLETE RUBBISH.

None of these people ever materialize. None of them ever call back.

I have been to the store in person multiple times. Called endlessly. Sent dozens of emails. Every conversation is the same script: "We're escalating this." "Management will call you." "Accounting is confirming." LIES.

They post cheerfully on Instagram while systematically defrauding consignors of thousands of pounds.

READ THE HUNDREDS OF IDENTICAL REVIEWS. This is not isolated incompetence. This is their BUSINESS MODEL.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR ITEMS. YOU WILL NEVER SEE YOUR MONEY.

This company should be investigated. Legal action is the only way to deal with them!
