Poor quality and short warranty

I would not recommend the Smart Slicer. I used it only 2 to 3 times and it broke. I contacted Culinary Family about the issue and they advised that the warranty was one month and as it had exceeded one month they were unable to help me. Considering it was only a small part which had broke, I would have thought they could send me a new one but they stick by their ridiculously short warranty which I suspect is for a reason, as their product can't go the distance. I'm truly disappointed as I was originally excided by this items. A waste of money. :(

AGAIN

AGAIN! DO NOT BUY FROM CULINARY FAMILY!
It is now over 3 months since I have tried to get a refund for a product that is not a legitimate Thermomix part as they purported it was, and I foolishly bought 3 of them. I believed they were able to be returned if unsatisfactory, but what they didn’t tell me was that they could only be returned to China for a refund, ( imagine the cost for 3 of them from Australia in postage), and have been telling me for the last 3 months that they are organising an “ ambassador” for people to return these faulty goods to. I am calling “b

T”. They have no intention whatsoever of returning our money and I would provide a long list of people who have complained but privacy prevents, but there are at least 100 unhappy people all around the world who know that this company ( whom I suspect is a family affair) are cheats and liars.
I challenge you”Culinary Family” to do the right thing by our families, and either admit that you’re lying to us all, or refund the money you owe us for an unsatisfactory product.
We also have families that are time and money poor which is why we purchased this product.

Customer service is non existent. Do not buy.

Ordered the slicer. Entered my address. When I selected payment option, I was offered to pay with Apple Pay. Little did I know that Apple Pay overwrites my delivery’s address entered as it was an old one. I contacted culinary family within one minute of placing the order. Four days later I receive email confirmation that will update order. Another four or so days later I get confirmation that order has been shipped. Shortly after an email from customer service that they regret they haven’t updated the shipment address. I said that I live some 4000km from old address now and I need it updated. Again I was told they will converse with the logistics company to have it redirected just to be told another week later that they regret that nothing can be done and I was asked to please pick item up from where it has been shipped.I told them again that I live 4000km away from this address. I now paid $150 for nothing and someone in my old address is enjoying a free delivery.
I’m so angry! Culinary Family sucks.

Culinary Family slicer

I found the Culinary Family slicer to be an easy accessory to use with my Thermomix TM6. The Slicer is simple to operate and allows for effortless slicing. My only complaint about the slicer is that the opening is a bit narrow; not a major deal; simply have to manually slice the pieces of fruit/veggies smaller.

If you have been completely let down you are not alone!

If you have been completely let down by this company, please know that you are not alone! Please report this company to Trading Standards. IGNORE ANY RESPONSE THAT THEY MAKE TO THIS REVIEW. IT WILL BE TOTAL BS

1. They deliberately use Vorwerk colours on their website to dupe you into thinking that you are buying genuine Thermomix Accessories. You are not. You are not even buying accessories that are compatible. They do not even come close to matching in quality.

2. They claim to offer “premium accessories” when in fact what they offer is cheap plastic sh** from China.

3. They claim that “Our story at Culinary Family begins in the warmth of our kitchen, where my partner, myself, and our little baby share a deep passion for cooking”. I can assure you that this is no cosy little family business!

4. And finally, they offer full refunds in writing and then fail to comply with their own refund policy. “Refunds are processed within 7 business days. The refund will be applied to the original method of payment, unless otherwise specified. Please note, depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take additional time for the refund to be reflected in your account”

In summary, I have been in dialogue with this company since early April 2024. After much correspondence (and an offer of refund on this review site), I was notified on 08/05/24 that I had received a refund. On 10th May I was emailed again, “We would like to inform you that we have recently attempted to refund your order, dated May 6th. However, we encountered a problem with your payment processor, which prevented the transaction from proceeding as planned.”. Later that same day, I was told by email, “We are delighted to inform you that we have found an appropriate solution to proceed with your refund.”

I have not received a refund. On Friday 16th May, email said, “We would like to reassure you that your refund will be processed as quickly as possible and will not be cancelled under any circumstances”. How quickly is as quickly as possible?

We can send you a replacement for the broken part at no cost or provide you with another product from our range, free of charge.
