Sold my house and used Curtis Law.
I dealt directly with Aksah, who has been amazing from start to finish both very personable and professional I would strongly recommend asking for her if you are given the choice nothing was too much and she was happy to share her extensive knowledge.
Prices were the same as initially agreed which was pleasant.
I used Curtis Law when I bought the house originally so this is my second time using them.

Please dont believe everything you read. From my experience Curtis Law was excellent, they dealt with the sale of my house and my purchase. Things were not straight forward & Sharon (5 stars) from Curtis Law was amazing in the whole process she kept all parties on there toes. I would fully recommend Sharon she was absolutely marvelous and also dealt with Katie who was equally fabulous.

Absolutely useless,at conveyancing,we bought a garden that needed registering under 1 plot,we chased them for a year and half. They made numerous mistakes and caused a lot of stress.they never apologised and just kept promising to sort it out, they pass you around and take forever to call you back.we did most of the work, ringing the land registry to chase things up, the case even got cancelled and had to be re submitted because they ignored the deadline date from the land registry,only used them because they get recommended by Keenan’s,obviously they must give Keenan’s a cut for customers recommended. Honestly stay away, buying a property is enough stress without their added input

I had claim accident injury claim which was a bit complicated as I was a pedestrian and it was a deliberate attack on me. Took over a year and half to sort out but we got there in the end. I've dealt with solicitors on a few occasions they are hard work you cant get hold of them or they dont update or reply, but let me tell you Andrew Bell at curtis law whenever I emailed him I got a reply back in minutes. He didn't fob me off even though I can be tiring at times. Honestly best firm iv dealt with. Thanks Andrew. Top man

Early 2022, my mum, who is 86, put a house she owned and rented, up for sale with local estate agents. Curtislaw were the solicitors also involved. A buyer was found and the necessary procedures began. Unfortunately, Mum became very ill towards the time of completion and was admitted to hospital. At this stage, I (her daughter) having Power of Attorney, had to step in. Saeed Ali (Blackburn) was the Curtislaw contact. I found him to be very friendly, polite, respectful, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. He was very professional and kept me well informed of procedure and progress and guided me through the process. Completion of the house sale was achieved at the end of June 2022 and I felt it all went very smoothly with ease. As a result of my experiences, I would not hesitate to recommend the services of Curtislaw to anyone.

I was very happy from start to finish with the service I received, I was kept informed every step of the way and all went smoothly.

Awful. From start to finish on a simple, no-chain apartment sale. No communications from them. I had to consistently chase when everything was well past an acceptable process time. It took well over 7 months to complete when it could have easily been 7 weeks.

Even to the very last request of service charge retention to be returned - I had to chase them and had no communications and took weeks to get my money back.

How these guys pass any audit is beyond me. Avoid.
