Over the last few weeks there have been minor delays with a small percentage of orders and this was because of the bad weather which caused disruptions to ferries from the UK to Ireland and vice versa. Our deliveries within 5 business days was still at 97.8% even taking this into account.

Your order was placed on the 25th of September at 23.50 which was a Tuesday which means the processing date for your order was Wednesday the 26th of October
with an estimated delivery date of the 3rd of October 2018. Your order was however not shipped until the 5th of October as the Akasa cables you ordered were within a delivery to our facility in Ireland which was misrouted by the carrier was did not arrive with us until the 3rd of October. This is a very rare issue and our staff reordered all items from the missing order once it became known the order was lost in transit. The missing order however arrived and we were able to ship the affected orders within a few days. Please understand that this delivery which was listed as lost by the carrier was not immediately reported as a non delivery by our facility in Ireland as there were delays with orders because of the bad weather. We audit all order each Friday to ensure no mistakes are make and it was not until we audited the weeks orders we found that a delivery into our facility was in fact missing.

Our support staff would not have been aware of a missing shipment into our facility however they would have replied to any inquiry within a few hours Monday to Friday between 10AM and 5PM. You received a shipment notification with tracking information at 12.45 on the 5th of October 2018 by email address sales@custompcparts.ie

Delays are rare put please understand that we are an island and on occasions the weather was cause delays with shipments to our facility in Ireland which has the knock on affect of delaying orders to our customers across Ireland. We do everything in our power to limit these delays and we carry in excess of €250000 of stock to ensure prompt delivery however we cannot stock everything in Ireland and we place orders each day Monday to Friday with our vendors and distributors in the UK , Germany and Holland.

We apologies for the delay with your order but please understand the delay was outside of our control.

Our procedures allowed us to find this issue and our procedures ensured the delay was minimal.

I have also applied an extra 860 Loyalty points to your account which equates to free delivery on the delayed order.
Your points will show in your account and can be spent on future orders.

Our delivery system is quite advanced and 99.2% of all orders are delivered within 5 business days from date of order which is faster than almost all multi national suppliers.

We have worked very hard over the last 3 years to improve the delivery times and to increase the rate of 2 , 3 and 4 day deliveries and in 2018 I can confirm that 83% of all orders are dispatched within 3 business days for delivery on the 4th business day.

If you had an issue with your order taking longer than these times please contact sales@custompcparts.ie and our support staff will look inot the reaon for such a delay.

Have you reported the damage to ourselves or the carrier Nightline ?

We pack all orders to a high standard which meets international shipping recomendations.
Damage can happen in transit however this is very rare.

Our shipments are insured however it is important to report damage as soon as possible.
Our policy is not to accept a PROOF OF DELIVERY ( POD ) as a signature accepting goods in good order as we understand the damage may not be found until the parcel is opened later. It is however important to take pictures and send them with a report of the damage to us as soon as possible.

If you want us to help you please send images and report the damage to SALES@CUSTOMPCPARTS.IE as soon as possible and we will endeavout to offer assistance.

I cannot side any report of damage to any order within the time frame of your order.

The design of our website has evolved over the last 3 years and we are constantly making upgrades and updates to the site.

We have just completed an update to streamline the checkout process however this is merely a small step towards a new more streamlined checkout which we hope to launch next month.

Your second order was placed on Thursday the 30th of August and it was shipping on the 3rd of September. Another of your orders from the Friday the 17th of August was shipped the following Tuesday. The next order was placed on the 8th and shippped on the 13th of August. All of these orders were delivered within the stated 5 business day period. We endeavour to process and ship all orders as quickly as possible and as you can see from our FAQ page we have noted the time of day and the day to give a detailed estimate of when our customers can expect their delivery. We are looking at ways to improve the delivery time however we do not see the current schedule to change in the short term.

Please accept our apologies for the delay with your order . If you can please email sales@custompcparts.ie with your order number I will look into the exact details of why your order was delay.

From the date of your order however I believe your order was placed during the 9 days our website was experiencing issues due to a denial of service attack on our hosting partners OVH which caused serious issues for our website and other sites across the EU. I am not making an excuse here but merely pointing out that during
this period we had limited access to the ordering information and we were then forced to manually create paper based orders and transfer them to the shipping system of our carrier. In truth however 99% of our orders were delivered within the specified 5 business days and if you can please provide your order number I will be able to offer more insight.

Our telephones are answered between 10AM and 4PM Monday to Friday and if you send us a message asked for a call back we do within 2 hours.

Our email and ticket support system was inundated with requests for information when the website was down or slow during the 9 days in question and
our staff had to deal with 30 plus tickets per hour as well as the backlog of tickets created after office hours and this did create issues answering in a timely manner.

I would like to sincerely apologise for the delay with your order and I assure you that we do all in our power to process and ship orders as quick as possible.

Regarding changing products were a genuine mistake is made we are here to help however as I do not have your order number I cannot speak to your order directly.
I would state the return cost is borne by the sender when an item is returned however it would be unusual for us to refuse point blank to accept a return as our policy
is not to refuse unless for example the item has been removed from its packing and cannot be resold. When this is the case we would normally apply a small restocking charge but again this is rare.

I am unable to match your email address to an order which is why I need your order number.

I have been able to ascertain your order and I can confirm your order was not delayed and was delivered on the exact day stated when you placed the order.

Your order was placed on Wednesday the 22nd at 16.47 and delivered the following Tuesday which was 4 business days. You will see this information in our FAQ page

An order placed on a Wednesday before 3PM will have a delivery ETA of the following Monday however an order placed after 3PM on a Wednesday will have a delivery ETA of the following Tuesday. The delivery schedule is an estinate only however it is accurate for the vast majority of orders.

Our same day order processing cut off is 3PM and orders therefore placed after 3PM will have a processing cut off of the following business day. The cut off time is to ensure we can complete the order verification , procurement and processing stages.

We do everything in our power to process and ship orders in a timely fashion

Our delivery service in Ireland is with Nightline.ie who are now owned by UPS. The deliveries in Ireland are trackable with the tracking number sent with an email from us the business day prior to the delivery and another email or sms text sent by Nightline early on the day of delivery giving an estimate of the delivery time during the day.

Our orders are shipped and delivered within 3 to 5 business days from the date of the order and we give a detailed explanation to when you can expect an order to be delivered based on when you place the order in our FAQ page https://www.custompcparts.ie/Frequently-Asked-Questions

In the first 6 months of 2018 we delivered 84% of all orders within 4 business days with 31% of orders delivered within 2 business days.
If you look to the promises that are made and broken by International companies with 1-3 day delivery statements however their percentage
within this time frame is usually lower than 25% and this is not because they are misleading customers it is simply because of the issues with
deliveries in the Republic of Ireland that do not exist in the UK or on the Continent. We are partnered with a reliable carrier and we have our
logistics for Ireland centered in Carlow and this is why our delivery time frame is consistent and within the time frame we advertise.
