Received a faulty product

Received a faulty product. Had to pay to send it to belgium. All I wanted was a replacement. When my cvp rep rung me later in the week advised it should have been returned to uk centre. When called up costumer service got told to go to website and create request, which defeats the object or ringing someone.

Unfortunately, a system error resulted in incorrect return instructions being provided, which led to the faulty item being sent to the wrong service centre. We appreciate how disappointing this was, particularly when you were simply looking for a replacement.

Since then, we've arranged an advanced replacement and reimbursed the return postage costs you incurred. We have also reviewed the issue internally to help prevent this from happening again in the future.

1 Star: Missing parts on ex demo, description says all ex demo have no missing parts.

Amended to 3 Stars as I still lost time overall.

Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a service review.

Apologies that the item was supplied with a missing part. While our ex-demo products are inspected before sale, it seems that this item was wrongly advertised to include the adapter plate.

As we were unable to source the missing part, we issued a full refund. We appreciate that this did not make up for the time and inconvenience caused, and we're sorry that your experience did not meet expectations.

More than 30 days passed since the order date, yet the merchant still failed to provide verified proof of delivery. The provided DHL POD contained no recipient name, no identification details, and on

More than 30 days passed since the order date, yet the merchant still failed to provide verified proof of delivery.

The provided DHL POD contained no recipient name, no identification details, and only an unreadable signature. DHL and the merchant were unable to confirm:

- who collected the parcel,
- whether the mandatory PIN verification was performed,
- or whether any ID check took place.

Instead of proving delivery, the merchant repeatedly demanded that I file a police report before any refund or resolution could proceed, while refusing to explain the legal basis for withholding my money despite the absence of verified delivery.

DHL itself confirmed that the matter remained “under investigation” and that recipient identity still had to be verified through CCTV review.

In my opinion, this is an unacceptable attempt to shift responsibility for a failed delivery process onto the consumer, even though the merchant remains legally responsible for delivery and reimbursement when delivery cannot be proven.

Due to the handling of this case, complaints are now being submitted to FPS Economy and ECC Belgium, the matter has already been escalated to the Belgian postal ombudsman service, and a chargeback procedure with the bank is being initiated.

This case remains open and is currently still under investigation with DHL.

We have already advised the requirements for DHL to progress their formal security investigation, including the need for a police report in order to access and review the relevant CCTV footage.
