My wife’s ear ring broke
My wife’s ear ring broke and I contacted Sellars and they gave me an address to post to. Once received it was assessed and a price quoted. Goods returned as new.

Stunning Pieces and Great Service

Keep emailing me marketing spam with no unsubscribe link. Violation of GDPR.
"Personal emails" used for marketing purposes are still marketing emails. It's the purpose of the emails that matters not who pressed send. People aren't stupid.
No unsubscribe link means the exemption fails on its own terms. There's a further wobble here: the purchase predates the administration, and marketing permissions don't transfer cleanly to a new owner after an insolvency. Straightforward GDPR violation either way. Framing it like "most people would just be happy..." Is an unprofessional deflection and an insult. Customers have every right to take misuse of their data extreamly seriously. Not a laughing matter.
Update: this review was flagged by the business as defamatory on 21 August. Trustpilot assessed it and reinstated it the same day.
The company edited their reply and it now reads as more professional then the original.

Second Update: Thank you for taking the time to explain your concerns further.
We have taken your feedback seriously and have used it as an opportunity to review and change our procedures. As a result, we have made a number of changes to how we communicate with customers. In particular, we will no longer contact previous customers individually with promotional offers of this nature. Any future marketing communication will now be sent only through our designated marketing campaigns and in accordance with our updated procedures.
We also want to reassure you that, following your initial contact, we removed your details from our records immediately, as requested, and you will not receive any further marketing communication from us.
We are genuinely sorry that our original email, and particularly our previous response, left you feeling that your concerns were not being taken seriously. Looking back, we appreciate that our attempt to be light-hearted came across as dismissive, and that was not appropriate given the nature of the concerns you had raised. We apologise for that.
We are a newly relaunched and independently operated business, and one of our priorities is learning from feedback and making sure we continually improve the way we operate. Although we would obviously have preferred your experience with us to have been a positive one, we do appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention and giving us the opportunity to make changes.
We also appreciate that you have supported our new business by shopping with us previously, and we would very much hope that, should you ever wish to shop with C.W. Sellors again in the future, we would have the opportunity to provide you with the experience we strive to offer all of our customers.

My sister and I visited the Bakewell shop and were looked after wonderfully by Peter. I had called before visiting and asked that a few pieces from the Bloom collection were there for us and when we arrived Peter knew about my request, offered us a cool drink and showed us the beautiful jewellery. We both left with new, favourite pieces of jewellery that were handcrafted for us and couldn’t be happier.

I absolutely loved my experience and couldn't be happier with my purchase. I was 100% satisfied from start to finish. Buying jewellery online isn't always easy, especially when you can't see it in person, but this company made the entire process effortless.
The customer service was exceptional:friendly, responsive, and genuinely caring. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience, and that level of service is rare to find these days.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again, simply because of the outstanding customer experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful jewellery and first-class service!

Excellent customer service
What a great experience I had shopping at C W Sellors in Ashbourne. I visited to find the perfect piece of jewellery for a family member and was greeted by the lovely Holly.
She was so helpful and really listened to what I was looking for, presenting me with exactly what I had in mind. She made me feel like I was the only customer in the shop, making the whole experience feel very personal and friendly.
I would definitely recommend the shop to all my friends and family. Holly, in particular, is a real credit to the company. She was professional, approachable and incredibly helpful throughout the whole experience.

Excellent and efficient service and a superb ring
Diana was very attentive to my wife's requests and preferences and wasn't pushy in anyway to try and make a sale. The ring we chose was absolutely superb and sold itself to both of us. Bought a ring from them a few years…
Bought a ring from them a few years ago, a silver band with jet inlay but unfortunately a bit fell out which was so annoying as unaware how it happened. Contacted the company to ask re a repair and they were very helpful indeed. Sent it off for them to fix, which did take a few weeks but great customer communication at each stage of the process until it was repaired and safely posted back.
