Waiting for a watch said to be on 4-6 week lead time. Currently on week 17. Over FOUR months!. I keep getting told mine will be on the next shipment, or they'll have news next week etc
They're still telling people its a 4-6 week lead time btw.

Edit. I cancelled the order. After such a dreadful experience I simply didn't want to do business with them now or ever again.

Edit, sadly I saw CWSellors ceased trading a few months after this experience. Guess my transaction was affected during their struggles in business.

Lovely family business that I recommend. I wanted some unique jewelry for my wife and ordered a beautiful set at a reasonable cost. I am over the pond, and shipping was inexpensive and fast, without any issues. I look forward to making another purchase soon.. :)

Very poor. Item shown as in stock, wasn't. Told 8 weeks and have heard nothing even though I have phoned them... This is not a good company to deal with..
Now Jan 15th 2026 and still no sign of the of the item although I was offered an "upgrade"by a lady named Hope. What was offered however instead of the 18ct necklace I had ordered was a 9ct one. some upgrade !!!

I recently purchased two necklaces with charms from C.W. Sellors in the last couple weeks. Order #105407 is the issue. Yet, both items were beyond small, almost unnoticeable. Yet, I wanted something from Whitby, England was the hope as I love the area. I don't understand why one has a nice clean necklace and the other has a severely tarnished one.

The items are supposed to go back to New York for the holidays and I don't live near their stores. I saw one store in Whitby, which was why I placed the order.
Decent prices, fast service, but poor quality and merchandise is miniscule at best in terms of size - baby doll size jewelry.

The most helpful staff. I had a mixup with my order, confusion on my part, and I messaged them on WhatsApp and they were so patient and kind and walked me through the whole thing. They are truly wonderful and one of a kind. Seems like they truly care about their customers.

We have taken County Court action for recovery of unpaid debt for bronze models supplied to them.
Extreme caution advised if credit is being requested. Pro forma only.

I think it’s fairly rare to see so many one star reviews for a Jeweller. Most people have a positive experience buying jewellery. Having purchased an expensive gift from CW Sellors last year and the saga that followed when it was returned for resizing I would avoid at all costs. There are too many alternative, customer focused alternatives to subject yourself to the arrogant and at times positively rude service offered by this company.
CW Sellors are clearly not happy with this review and have asked for my order number. This would serve absolutely no purpose. They were given plenty of opportunity to resolve our complaint last year and chose to treat us with contempt. People don’t write one star reviews for nothing. This is a review based on genuine experience as I’m sure are all the other 1 star reviews.

We phoned Ellis and had a wonderful experience buying 2 watches. He was most helpful and friendly. He is highly recommended after a non callback from a female member at Bakewell store. Our watches have arrived and gift wrapped as well. Thank you Ellis.

Got an amazing deal on a platinum 2ct lab grown diamond ring. Delivery was a big longer than website suggested it might be but still came within about a week. I can’t stop looking at my ring - beautiful. Was so pleased I then ordered a platinum wedding band to match. Very happy with service and especially price.

She helped me find suitable replacements and even secured great prices and discounts. Her support was prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful.

Another ring was to be ordered but 3 days later i received my ring beautifully presented and sized by Michael.

I ordered a montblanc pen online and it was delivered the following day. The pen and box was packaged securely. It was a good experience ordering from them.

Avoid at all costs, after 4 months of a dispute I’ve resorted to citizens advice. This company take 0 responsibility for their wrong doings and need investigating.

Great experience and Caitlin the store sales lady in Chesterfield is absolutely fabulous. No pressure sales and always kind and friendly. A great asset to your company!

Be prepared to wait up to 14 business days for the business to issue a refund (as mentioned in prior responses from the business). I should have read all of the negative reviews prior to placing an order. You will notice the negative reviews far outnumber the positive reviews (I am personally highly suspect of all the positive reviews). The item was promptly returned during the return period. I have confirmation that the return was received by the business on January 3rd. IT took 18 days for my refund after Paypal decided my billing dispute in my favor. The numerous customer complaints should give any prospective customer good knowledge as to how this business operates.

Also, through this complaint method, there is not an option to offer a screenshot image from Paypal confirming that the billing dispute was resolved in my favor.

***Edit*** Online records search shows numerous customer complaints with trading standards. You will also notice numerous complaints in regards to inventory issues and availability.
