WORST WEBSITE. they don't send you products - No notice, no product, got nothing after purchase was made

I ordered back in April and it is almost August and still nothing. They took the money right away but never sent me my products. Not one reply on my emails as well and when I posted a review on their page they gave me an auto-generated answer but still never sent me my refund nor my packages

Update*** they gave me another auto-generated but haven't responded (see below) but i've already sent them all the info they needed and never responded back.

You Won’t Receive the Items You Purchase, and You Won’t Receive a Helpful Response About It

I had been an annual member of the Daebak box since their opening for 2-3 years until I cancelled because I wanted to cut back on spending. I really enjoyed the boxes back then, and they actually shipped on time. There were a couple hiccups, but nothing major, and those issues were quickly fixed. However, this past year I went back to their website just to place a one-time order for an item I’d received in one of the boxes previously that I absolutely loved. I placed that order on FEBRUARY 27th of 2023. It is now almost AUGUST. When I’d contacted them the first time regarding a status update back in APRIL, my emails were ignored. I had to get their attention via Instagram to get a response. At that point, I was told they were short-staffed, which I can understand. I was told that my item could take up to 10 weeks to get to me after placing my order and that they had placed it on a “priority list”. (Granted, I had already waited 2 months to contact them.) I still was patient and waited for shipping confirmation. At the beginning of July (ANOTHER full 2 months, about 4 months in total at this point), STILL NO SHIPPING CONFIRMATION. I contacted again asking for an update. This time I was told that their “logistics team” was looking into it and would ship as soon as possible. STILL NO SHIPPING CONFIRMATION. So, I contacted them AGAIN, but this time, I just requested a full refund. This time, I was told that my order was ready to be shipped out, and I’d receive confirmation the next week, also receiving a $10 gift card for the trouble. So, again I waited patiently. I gave them not one, but TWO weeks to ship it after they said it was ready. I sent ANOTHER message stating I’d like a refund a week ago, and I was told AGAIN, yes AGAIN, that my order is still ready for shipment. IF IT IS READY FOR SHIPMENT, WHY HASN’T IT SHIPPED IN THE PAST 3 WEEKS, LET ALONE THE 5 MONTHS I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR 2 SMALL ITEMS? I just want a refund! I’m now awaiting their response to my 3rd or 4th request for a refund. I LOVED the concept of this company, but the execution is just horrible! I think they went in way over their heads and bit off more than they could chew. Which totally sucks because I really enjoyed the items they’d send, and I adored the jewelry box they had previously. But PLEASE save your money, this company is not in a good spot and needs some internal work before I can trust them again.
Update: Just Received Another Message This Morning
I received a response to my latest request for a refund, lol. I was told that the items were procured and my payment was already forwarded to the suppliers, but it won’t be possible for me to receive them at the moment??? That statement is completely dumb, but also contradicts all of their previous statements that my order was supposedly “ready for shipment”. They also said that “typically they would decline my request for a refund” LOL, but since they “value” my happiness and satisfaction, they would instead give me a gift card equal to the amount of my order + $10 that I can only use for their company. HOORAY, I CAN SPEND MY MONEY AGAIN ON ITEMS I WILL NEVER RECEIVE! :D No, that is completely unacceptable. I will be submitting another request for refund.
UPDATE:
I finally got sent a form I could fill out to request a refund. I was told that the refund would be confirmed within 5-7 business days. It was not. I had to contact them to confirm the refund. The refund was not the full amount, it was only a partial refund. I contacted asking about this. I was told that I had to pay for the $5.99 Shopify fee to be refunded to my original form of payment. So, technically, I paid $5.99 for a company to give me the run around on a purchase they were never going to send me. I paid for their mess up…
THIS COMPANY IS NOT GOOD, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

I've been ordering from DAEBAK since April but NO RESPONSE UNTIL TODAY

I've been ordering Esquire April Issue 2023 since April 2023 and until TODAY my order stuck at UNFULFILLED. I've been messaging them through ig to no avail. they keep asking me to provide financial details in which I did and they said they will start processing my order, BUT NO. THEY ARE NOT PROCESSING MY ORDER. I keep messaging them asking refund or if they have any good intentions but it seems that they are not going to give you one and will not return your money. do not buy from them!

my experience w daebak.co

I ordered at the start of april and it is now almost august. Communication was ok until i requested a refund for my order. Its been almost 2 weeks since i sent In my request but still havent gotten my money back. It says it takes 5-7 days for it to process but they havent answered my last dm which i sent a week ago. There could be a reason they arent responding however they are still posting stuff. Im starting to become a little impatient but i hope this will be resolved soon🙏☺️

Edit: they finally gave me a refund but only gave back 57$ when i paid 58$ for the product and 7$ shipping which In total is 65$. Its a little weird but theres probably a reason for that. The money hasnt gone into my acc yet but will In about 3-5 days😊.

Did not receive order yet

Ordered back on 4/1/2023. Checked in after a few weeks to ask for order update, and they said they process orders in 30 business days. It is now the end of July and there have been no order updates.

No notice, no product, got nothing after order placed

After 20 days I placed my order , I still haven’t got any notice or email about my order status! Also haven’t got any solid confirmation nor time frame by when I will get further notice ! Not to mention the actual product! Lost contact with customer service so far!

Order has been processed and has shipped

I’ve written reviews previously about my order status being unfulfilled for a very long time, and also having no updates. I recently got I touch on Instagram about my order, the team took a little longer this time since the customer service was down, which isn’t their fault. I was told that I’ll be updated as they were going to check everything with my order, which they did do. My order has now been processed and is shipping, I got an email confirmation with my order number confirming this, which I’m very happy for to know my order is on its way. The team where very helpful.

Edit: Albums arrived and were in good condition, I got an extra photo card in one of the albums which is a bonus!

Don't buy from them

Customer service is horrible. They say things that they can't follow through with. It has been nearly a year since I've waited for their first subscription box. A YEAR. I've had to contact them more than I should as a customer just to get the ball rolling. Normally, I am understanding of inconveniences but this business is not at a stable place and their customers can tell. Not a trustworthy business. They should just shut down at this point. I am disputing my charge and considering this company a SCAM.

Thanks for Nothing Daebak!!!!

I placed an order in may,it's now July 18. I've waited more than 8 weeks for one parcel and they won't refund me because they lied to me twice about shipping my parcel. Which is an absolute scam. I 100% would like to tell people. DO NOT buy from daebak. I want a refund but they will not give me one. I wasted money for something I'll never get. The whole experience was a bad one. Another thing they lied about was the tracking information. They never give you one.

Now I just Absolutely HATE DAEBAK
I never got the purple edition Jin Ramen. What a piece crap website.
To ALL CANADIANS - DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE. EVER. I understood extra fees for over the boarder delivery but to pay for something I never wanted. I am beyond pissed. I never hated the phrase more "thank you for your patience" in my entire life.

Scam company

This company is horrible! I pre-ordered the June issue of Vogue korea because of RM. It shipped on the 1st of June. I have had no updates since then. At first they gave me the run around saying, it will be there, we can't tell you where it's at, absolutely nothing, now they won't even answer my emails or messages on social media. They have refused to give me a refund, but keep sending emails to rate my purchase when I have not received anything. I would honestly rather have the magazine than my money back, but they either never sent it or it's lost and they refuse to take responsibility. They have other bad reviews on reddit and I really wished I had looked more into the company before ordering. I will be giving reviews on every site I can until they make this right. Do not order from them!

DO NOT BUY

I ordered two snackfever boxes back in November and December of 2022. Got an email quite quickly that shipping was an issue and that it was being worked on. Three months later I was no longer interested in the boxes and emailed for my money back, which was well over €100, and they told me to fill in a Google form which I did. Now, IN JULY, I still have not received my refund after contacting them many many times, and it seems they are simply ignoring my emails about this issue. Very very poor company, very disappointed. If you value your money, do not buy things here because you’ll not get your money back.

Trash company

I ordered back in March for a pre-order item and when asking for updates, they respond with basic, copy-pasted generic answers. Telling me not to worry when nothing is being done. This is the second time I've ordered something and the first time was basically the same until they said a month later that the order couldn't be fulfilled. It's safe to say that I won't be using them ever again.
Re-edit 2: I've been ghosted on Instagram for the past 2 months but constantly see them online, tried emailing but nothing, DO NOT USE THIS PLACE

Ordered in March, now 4 months later still hasn't shipped

I ordered 3 sets of the Stray Kids Nacific hand cream on March 13, 2023. After patiently waiting for more than 2 months I finally contacted support on May 31, 2023. Here is the response I received:

Now it is July 16, 2023. I have followed up with them at least 3 times since and have received no response. Also, weirdly I received a "your order has been shipped" email on June 15, but the product shipped was "1 of Daebak Dummy Product (DBKSTND)" and the tracking # still says nothing has been sent out.

I don't know if they were just trying to placate me by indicating they shipped something when really it was nothing. But overall I am extremely unhappy with how things are going and I will be seeking a chargeback with my CC company.

AVOID. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM DAEBAK.

Absolutely disappointed

Placed a pre-order for the 3 versions of ATEEZ's latest album back in May. Their album was released a month ago as of today, and I still have not received my order. The last time I spoke to someone, I was told my order was processing, and that email was almost a month ago now. I've written to them on twitter, and my comments were DELETED. I was astounded that my comments inquiring about my order were deleted! Very lousy company. This is the first and last time I will ever order from them. I'm super upset that I'm out $109, order paid (for a pre-order, mind you! I'm supposed to get all the pre-order items!) and product NOT received yet. I'm sure I'm not going to receive my pre-order items at this point. VERY lousy! Please order items elsewhere and spare yourself the headache.

Late shipping, can't contact an actual human

Haven't gotten my package. Bought it in March and it's now July. Have also moved since then but I'm only getting the automatic response and haven't been able to talk to a human about this. Idk what's happening to my order anymore.

Edit: tried to contact them via Instagram, again got an automated response, and they're sending it to the wrong address because I haven't had a chance to talk to an actual human. Yay.
