I used them for a flat clean as I was moving out. £128 for 2 cleaners for 2 hours.... they didn't clean the ovens, fridge or freezer. I then had to agree to a second clean by the landlord to get my deposit back! Foolishly I had already paid. I sent a complaint expecting at least a response but got nothing! Would never use again, £30+ per hour and half a job.....

I can't comment on their cleaning service. However over the last several months they have been cleaning nearby and parking blocking my drive, in my permitted, allocated spot that I have paid for and generally parking in very inconvenient places- private land that has a plenty of signs up and present and is looked after by a parking company. I have contacted them several times regarding this issue and have got nowhere. There is free parking on every single street in the area less at 30 seconds walk from the property. The problem is still going on. Today I received a call from the cleaner who had once again parked in my space (I have never provided my number to Daily Poppins so have no idea how they have got it) who started to shout at me down the phone. Not what I was expecting. A shocking unprofessional company, completely unnecessary to ring me and start shouting down the phone when the cleaner was and is the one consistently in the wrong. I would avoid using them based on this experience!

The Daily Poppins team is providing a house cleaning and bed change service for my mother who is recovering from serious illness. The service to date has been excellent and the personnel who visit are always efficient, helpful and pleasant. On Daily Poppins’ recommendation the cleaning has moved from weekly to bi-weekly; nice to see the provision of the best service to the customer being more important than making an easy £.

I love Dailypoppins - friendly staff. Always satisfied with their work, anything from cleaning, ironing and changing beds.

I have used Daily Poppins in Newbury for many years. I have always found them thorough and conscientious. It is not always the same people, but they have all been courteous and friendly. Any issues have been rapidly sorted out. Using a firm does work out more expensive than using an individual cleaner, but has the major benefit that there are no breaks for holiday or sickness and you don't have to find someone new when your cleaner leaves.

I used Daily Poppins and was continually disappointed with their service. The girls spent more time tidying the teddies in my sons room than cleaning. After a while I realised I was cleaning after they had been in! Just ridiculous. However the final straw was them leaving white astonish paste all over my black aga (not rubbed in) and then lying to their line manager (my contact) about how long they had been in our house for. My husband timed them. I complained about these final two points and have subsequently received an invoice! They charge an extortionate rate and are poor cleaners at best.

Would definitely NOT recommend at all Service in Dundee is shocking. Overpriced for a cleaner that doesn't know how to do simple tasks such as mop or sweep. May as well have cleaned myself with all of the issues i had with this company.

I was assured when i signed up for this cleaning service ( it operates as a franchise) that it was professional, hence the cost / hour perhaps being justified- £22. £176 we were charged for 7 hours of cleaning. I had 2 cleans with the first one being good, the second clean was v poor and we were overcharged by an hour. Despite contacting the area manager about my concerns and sending photos of evidence that she asked for i haven't been reimbursed, my keys were dropped back through the letter box and that was it!
I have made a formal complaint through the link they sent us.

Shocking level of cleaning. Would recommend avoiding at all costs. Waste of money.

Terminated the agreement with the Rickmansworth franchise a few weeks ago. The cleaning aspects were okay but they never took the full 2hrs booked. Real problem was the lack of care around security. On three occasions we came back to find windows left wide open and on two occasions came back to find the front door left unlocked. Took two weeks to get the keys back after cancelling the service but haven’t received any refunds on the monies owed. Approach with caution.

You can't give less than one star but I would if I could. I received a call back from Ren, St Albans. He spoke for a long time before giving me the quote, which was incredibly overpriced, £48 for up to an hour cleaning a 2 bed flat by 2 people. I politely said that was over my budget but he continued to try and push the services. I then piloitely said again 'it's out my budget, but thank you goodbye' and ended the call. He then sent me two very aggressive texts straight away saying how rude I was to cut him off. I don't appreciate receiving threatening behaviour when I call to get a quote. I wouldn't dare let these people into my own home.

I just had daily poppins service done in my flat.
Their service is a joke. It is really unbelievable how can they do such a bad cleaning.
3 People came in to clean a 2 bed flat... they finished the service in less than 1 hour and it does not really look like any cleaning was done.
Really, really bad... Will never use again and very frustrated. Money thrown in the bin.

Firstly I could not find a Star with a minus in front.
I rang up to see about getting a quote for a one bed bungalow for a cleaning service.
The lady that answered the phone seemed boarder line pleasent at first but even this did not last that long.
I said I wish to put this call on speaker so my wife could hear as well as we make joint decisions.
As I was doing my best to ask preliminary questions she came across rude and said she would answer later as she was trying to fill out a form. As she was talking and talking it was as though she was reading a script, when I tried to ask her a question and her hearing my wife as well,she blarred out "Who am I speaking to ? Trying to fill out a form hear.
She kept going on about a contract and different colour cloths for different jobs.
By this time of listening to this unwarranted
Rudeness, I felt like a naughty school boy being disciplined and HELLO here I am

Failing rapidly at even getting through the first phone call. Like others I also judge a comfort zone by the initial contact.
Being told by this rude person to refrain talking
over her ( when trying to ask important questions) made me feel intimidated to say the least. When one works out what they would charge by working out Thier man hours or a two hour clean to £44.00 and using any where between two and three cleaners mean they
Could be in and out in 40 minutes.
Working this out would be £1.00 per minute.
Sorry to say this so called Cleaning firm should be called Mary Poppins
because this rude seciman of a woman lives in a fantasy world thinking they could speak to a potential client in such a unacceptable manner and expect to get paid more than Donald Trump for the privilege.
Sorry everyone this is totally unacceptable and this rude person is totally disconnected with the human race.
There is more but I have to stop at some point.
Therefore this very rude person should take
her mop and bucket and locate it where the sun don't shine.
PS. I told her I would think about using them and in the same breath I said Oh Surprise !
I'm not.
Please save your self and steer well clear of

Have now used the Reading part of this company. There has not been one day when the team of cleaners arrive in time. The team is basically undermined by an impossibly demanding timetable... Three cleaners, staying for 30 minutes (for a large 3 BR flat) having arrived 90 minutes late, no surfaces done (for several months now), slippery tuff used on wooden floor...totally unreliable. This costs 49 pounds !! per week

Cleaning was not done a decent standard, basics such as dusting not completed despite being at the house for a total of 7 hours (2 people 3.5 hours). Left lime scale remover in place in several locations so I had to remove this. After speaking to them about they were rude and unhelpful.

Daily Poppins Lichfield are a franchise, owned and run independently.

I judge a company on how they are on the first contact, ie the phone.

I rang Daily Poppins to see if I could get a quote for a cleaner. Because, although the min wage is around £8 ish, it seems that the world has gone mad and people are charging what they like, regardless of skill.

So I rang up and spoke to a rather unpleasant woman, who would not quote without seeing the property.

I pointed out that I only wanted about 2 hours per week and that therefore it should not change the price. ie, is she £10 per hour etc.

She said that I could get 2 hours for £36!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously? £18 per hour for a cleaner? Am I suddenly in Kensington and Chelsea??????? I am a professional and am not on that!

So I asked if that was for one cleaner for two hours.

At this point she got stroppy and I could hear a man in the background shouting to her.
She told me - and be aware of this - that you get 2 cleaners for ONE HOUR! They do one hour each only!

So 2 people doing one hour each.

At this point she hung up. And surprisingly enough, when I rang back, it went into answerphone.

A business so shady that she could not even be bothered to talk to me.

£18 per hour or a cleaner! Ha Ha Ha Ha!
