Kevin visited our building in Glasgow city centre to inspect the damp that was rising on the inside wall of our office. He quickly identified that it flaking and discoloured paint was due to damp coming through the wall. On closer inspection he noticed an issue on the outside roof of the building that was causing the problem. They quoted us a price and booked the work to be done and since then we haven't noticed any issues. We certainly feel more confident now that an expert has dealth with it for us. Highly recommend, very professional.

From the very first chat to Kevin the team have been fantastic, everything was explained simply and thoroughly right from the start on what was needed and how things would be done, fair price was quoted and no hidden add ons. Barbara kept us up to date every step of the process and it help calm our worries, although I'd have preferred not to have needed the work done Kevin and his team were great and it was good that we could leave the guys in by themselves to crack on with their work and it was a pleasure to get to know them, can't recommend the company enough, customer care from start to finish has been excellent.

Dampness & Rot recently carried out treatment for woodworm in a house I was getting ready to sell. I needed the work carried out asap and they came and quoted the job within 2 days with the work being carried out 3 days later. The communication was amazing start to finish - I especially appreciated being able to communicate by text as it’s not always easy to phone. Barbara and Kevin were both helpful, friendly and efficient. I’d definitely recommend and would happily use again.

Very professional. The entire process to repair rising damp was fully explained. Communication before, during and after was good. Price was reasonable. I would highly recommend.

We recently had work carried out by Dampness& Rot(Glasgow) Ltd and which included rotted floor joists and wall plate also rising damp in two areas. Kevin and his team completed the whole job in a very professional manner and explained clearly every stage of the work each day and the proposed work for the following day so that we knew what to expect. Barbara in the office phoned regularly and kept us well informed if for example they had to collect more materials on the way and would be arriving a bit late All in all a contract carried out with great diligence and I would strongly advisethe employment of this company to anyone. I recently used Dampness and Rot to sort out an issue with rising damp at several places in my property.
I was very pleased with the quote and work carried out.
Kevin explained what the work would involve at every stage and Barbara was very efficient with any communications.
I had to query a very minor issue after the work was completed. Dampness and Rot came out immediately and sorted the problem.

Absolutely first class. Kevin came out within 48h to view the problem- and D&R were the only company not to charge to diagnose the issue (dry rot). Work was explained - quoted for and resolved within a week, dealing with a majorly stressful issue with complete professionalism. Turned up on time, cleaned up, and came back to restore the aesthetics of the room. I was also given sound advice in terms of wider communal building maintenance. Could not recommend highly enough!
