My experience today with Dorina, today was great, I really appreciated the help of preparing all my files to prepare me for my DRO, we spend 2 hours by responding and going through all questionnaire and files.
The appointment was so appreciated and by doing with Dorina, she listened to all my queries, and that realised a lot of stress on my shoulder.

My debt advisor, a very friendly and professional lady named Kalpamayee, was able to save me from the terrible situation I was in with a large amount of credit card debt I had. The bank was going to pass on the debt to a third party organisation that would have sent bailiffs round to my home to take all my personal possessions!
I am so grateful for the amazing and professional help she gave me, during the very unpleasant time I was going through.

Struggling with a several confusing letters from the council mentioning a large debt I was unable to pay, I decided to ask Citizen's Advice for help and clarification of my situation. Having Dyslexia/Dyspraxia (diagnosed many years ago), I felt quite overwhelmed and unable to make sense of their reams of figures.
Attending CAHF at Avonmore Library I got a meeting with advisor Uzma Khokhar to discuss my debt. Uzma was very kind and patient, managing to help me understand the situation I had got my self into. Uzma then helped me contact the Council by phone, and later helped with letters negotiating my repayment arrangements.

I recently had an appointment with Shabana Shafi from Debt Free Advice, and it was an excellent experience. Shabana was very friendly and patient throughout our conversation, making me feel comfortable and supported. She provided me with comprehensive information on various topics, including Shelter housing advice, Limited Capability - Universal Credit, PIP, and Citizen Advice Bureau. Additionally, she informed me about the possibility of declaring no use of a TV License, the WaterSure scheme, and child maintenance services.

Shabana also mentioned different agencies I could contact for assistance in various areas, which was incredibly helpful. Despite having a bit of difficulty understanding each other at times, we were able to communicate effectively and work through any misunderstandings. Overall, it was a pleasant and informative conversation that left me feeling more knowledgeable and confident about my options.
