Really good advice session - looking at my debts- not as bad as I thought. Was scared to face my debts - but with hope, I know I’ll be able to knock them off realistically in a year a half to 2 years. Thank you so much for your support.

The supporter was very calm, listened attentively, and was very polite. She also acts very professionally and informs me of things I am entitled to for me to live a happy and meaningful life.

The advisor was reassuring and told me my issue is manageable and i can get help.

I had a very good experience, I spoke with Ade and she is very nice and polite. She made me feel at ease and explained the procedure with me. She also took down some details and assisted me with getting an advisor. I felt less anxious and more comfortable reviewing the help I need.

I contacted Cab in March and my appointment was end of May, for help in understanding bills, an going on the voters list & I needed a fridge as my last one stopped working last year, I had an appointment with Oliver, it was really nice to work with Oliver he pays attention to details, I was trying to get on the private voters list for months, asking many other organisations for help with no luck, but Oliver read the small print and found me an email to contact which I did, and have been helped now to be on it.
Also I told him about my problems with not being able to afford a fridge, he applied to a charity’s for me and I was awarded help to buy a new fridge. I can’t thank you enough, I am so grateful for your help, we need more people like you in this world.
An to think that morning of our appointment I felt like cancelling due to my health issues.

It was suggested that I give the Debt Free Advice charity a call about my elderly mother's situation. The advisor Adé was super helpful and patient. She put my mother and me at ease, she listened attentively and explained the process. She took down details of the issue and found the most appropriate appointment option for my mother to meet with an advisor. She also gave advice on how to prepare for the appointment. She was super helpful and left me feeling hopeful about my mother's situation. Thank you Adé

I wanted to share this message and thank you to Ms. Kalpamayee, who spoke to the council again today for my financial problems and because I do not have PIP benefits and I always have no money left for food at the end of the month and because of this Ms.Kalpamayee for the food bank I am very grateful for his kindness and understanding

It was nice to speak to someone that could LISTEN. I’ve found it so hard to find someone to listen to me and although my current situation is still not solved I’m happy I got to speak to someone who is willing to help me as far as they can. I felt heard and understood.
