We purchased a Kenwood Cooker on February 22nd 2026 from Curry's. It was faulty within a few days. They sent a repair man after a couple of weeks who spotted that a cable was wrapped up in the cooling fan. He fixed it but then cooling fan wasn't working. It took another three weeks to get the fan replaced. As soon as we used it the cooker overheated and the glass door shattered. Another couple of weeks wait and they sent an engineer with no parts. He ordered parts. A couple of weeks later they say parts will take at least 8 weeks. We contacted Curry's who told us to get an uplift number from Kenwood (Delonghi) so that they can replace it. Delonghi refuse to give an uplift number and say they are still waiting for the repair to be authorised so won't even order the parts. They really don't care how long you are without a cooker as they try over and over to fix a really poorly manufactured cooker. Try a more reliable manufacturer who will make a better cooker or at least care enough not to leave you without a cooker for three and a half months (and counting). I’ve tried calling the number in the reply below but it’s never answered. Delonghi manufacture and deal with the repairs for Kenwood cookers and it is them that are refusing to write off this cooker so that Currys can provide a replacement. It is therefore Delonghi’s fault I have no cooker. Hence the review.

This is the worst cooker I have ever used. Had a Smeg for 20 years- fantastic fan oven. This is not a fan oven, I have to cook everything above the recommended normal temperature range, never mind the fan oven range. It cooks everything from the bottom and never browns anything. Complained numerous times to Delonghi, engineers said it was heating within acceptable temperature ranges, however, did concede the oven did have ‘hot spots’. I have had to buy an air fryer to cook roasts etc. We now have issue with the gas burners not burning correctly (18 months old ) . No support from Delonghi as out of warranty. I would not recommend it. It is not fit for purpose.

Responses were so positive. I made a few mistakes in ordering a couple of years ago, but it was sorted out painlessly. When I needed a replacement part, the advice and support was superb, with the call staff going out of their way to help me out. As an elderly customer, I felt respected, assisted and very effectively served

We bought a cooker with a gas oven just before Christmas 2025. We live in countryside and had it setup for LPG. Initial issue we had was adjusting the oven to the LPG setting. A Service Engineer came out after describing issue with Steve at Delonghi. Engineer reported done the work, replacing parts etc and cooker was ok. We tried using oven after the visit and something far from ok. Contacted Steve again and reported no parts replaced to him. Was concerned that Steve would go with Engineers reported done. But thankfully gave us good guidance and arranged replacing cooker with one that was duel fuel. Problem now sorted and have got the hang of Electric oven (all life have used gas so was worried). Would highly recommend duel fuel cooker from Delonghi and support if any issue from Steve is 5 star.

Excellent technical advice in problem solving the fault on my classic delonghi range cooker.
Going the extra mile to assess what part failed, and what was still fully functional, leading to being able to deploy repair care to send out an engineer with the correct part at a superb price all inclusive.

Having had some initial issues with a missing splash back and intermittent malfunction of some of the gas rings a quick phone call with Steve sorted the problem out. Splash back arrived next day via DPD and gas ring issue resolved with a small setup modification to the control knobs. Being involved in customer service my self I was truly impressed with the level received from Steve and his team.

needed a user manual for my kenwood cooker, so, telephoned the service line. in no time at all i spoke to steve richardson. what a pleasant person, very clearly spoken and patient, being 87yrs of age, thats what i needed. having taken all the details of my cooker, steve was able to locate the required manual, he then emailed me the pdf, which i received very quickly.

After having problems with our gas cooker Steve responded promptly to our initial poor review and organised the replacement of this gas cooker with a dual fuel cooker and we are now delighted with this appliance. It does what it claims to, no more burned bottoms on my bread and Peking duck had a crisply skin, hurrah! So thank you Steve for your excellent service.

My only problem is that there are only five stars to choose from!!! The help and friendly advice that I received from Mr. Steve Richardson easily deserves a TEN. Even though we were about 250 miles apart the only thing else that he could have done was to jump in his car and brought his toolkit! Honestly, I can't praise him enough, thanks Steve, your a top man.

Extremely helpful call today with Steve Richardson and team. Within 5 minutes we were able to diagnose ovens problem which I had been struggling with and baffled all day.
Order part to arrive next day rather than several parts randomly.

I have to say that the support that I received from this team has been excellent. My mother’s cooker developed a minor fault a few days after the end of the one year warranty. Steve and his colleagues were very helpful. The matter was resolved without any issues.

Being of the age when we prefer to view the product before purchase, we found it almost impossible to find a store that displayed any quantity of range ovens. Online research pointed us towards DeLonghi, we discovered they had a showroom near Milton Keynes. We made an appointment to visit and so glad we did. Steve Richardson greeted us and couldn't be more helpful. He showed and demonstrated the oven, patiently answered our questions and gave us advice as well as useful tips on using the oven. He informed us that we could contact him directly for any further help, or for any spare parts. He went the extra mile in contacting our nearest dealer and installer. We ordered the oven model DTR 906-DF-1 which was promptly delivered and installed on a day to suit us.
From the initial phone call to DeLonghi to cooking our first meal on our new oven last night, we can recommend DeLonghi as a great company to deal with.
The oven is well built and has all the specifications that we required we are certain that it will serve us well!

Phoned for some advice. Steve spent 20 minutes talking thought the issues with my oven and troubleshooting over the phone. Once the problem was diagnosed he then pointed me in the direction for further support. Excellent service even though I was not purchasing just seeking advice!

I was looking for the product manual for a very old model of cooker that the previous owners of my property had left behind. On the off-chance, I emailed into the Delonghi product support address supplied on their website to see if they had a copy and they did! Steve was very helpful and supplied me with the PDF document I required. I’m glad to say the cooker is working perfectly after all these years (and owners) and still going strong. Overall, I give product support 5/5 stars.

Customer service were very helpful. I needed a manual for an old model oven. I had a very quick response from them and with a few email exchanges, they lead me through finding the model number and sent me a PDF of the correct manual. I am impressed.

The vintage range cooker looks great at first, but it’s actually quite poor quality. The knobs are cheap plastic and often get stuck, making it frustrating to use. Both ovens struggle to even reach 200°C, and after just two years, one of them stopped working completely, with no way to repair it. Really disappointed with DeLonghi. I’ll never buy from them again and definitely don’t recommend this cooker.

I love my new range gas cooker.
I was so impressed with the after support i received as this is what often lets companies down. Delonghi were really helpful on the phone and emails were dealt with quickly.
Last but not least the part I needed was hand delivered . This was the best after service I have ever known. Knowing that they care about their customers and products makes them so reliable and gives confidence in the goods they sell.

In the past two days, I have told five people, one of them a British Gas engineer, about the level of service I received from Steve Richardson, Service and Operations manager at DeLonghi. I did this because on Monday I phoned his department in the faint hope of gaining some information about an older model of De Longhi gas cooker. Trying Google and AI over the weekend had left us misinformed and downbeat. Steve recognised the model number and looked through extensive manuals to find the information. All done with the cheer of an executive librarian whose satisfaction comes from excellence. He did this with patience, engagement, and my concerns about the viability of this cooker retreated. He spent a fair amount of time on the phone, genuinely happy to answer any questions I had. I’m confident that I’m not the only person who has tired of a certain kind of customer interface that leaves you frayed and less optimistic about life. He said if I had any more questions, to call him back, and having a bit of bother with the ignition, I did just that in the afternoon. He talked me through the operation part, and the cooker was working perfectly. I am not writing this because I got a result, which I absolutely did, but to commend a level of service which I cannot remember receiving in the past ten years. I wasn’t sent a customer survey. With that level of attention and care, such artificial measurements are redundant. What a refreshing experience, first thing on a Monday morning, to be met with such gracious professionalism. Steve is obviously someone who continually goes an extra ten miles. He called to check my email address so he could send us a manual that would help. My partner said it was like having our own DeLonghi consultant. You will be fortunate if you call the DeLonghi operations department, you will remember Steve as we will.
