Never Deliver on Time
Iâm extremely disappointed with this entire experience.
I ordered a sofa in December after being clearly assured by the sales team that it would be delivered by the end of February. Although the contract mentioned a 3-month timeframe, I confirmed multiple times before purchasing and was repeatedly promised that delivery would be on time. Based on those assurances, I went ahead with the order and paid the full amount upfront.
Now itâs the end of March, and only after à€²à€à€Ÿà€€à€Ÿà€° chasing for updates was I informed that the delivery is delayed by another month. Even worse, the store has no visibility on where the sofa is or when it will actually arrive. For such a high-value purchase, this level of uncertainty and lack of accountability is completely unacceptable.
After raising a complaint, I was promised a callback within 72 hours â which never happened. Since then, Iâve tried contacting them through every possible channel, but no one is reachable. It feels like once thereâs a delay, customer support simply stops responding.
Whatâs even more frustrating is that despite all these delays and poor service, Iâm being told I cannot cancel the order without losing half of my money. That is extremely unfair given that the company has failed to meet its own commitments.
I specifically chose to order in-store to avoid issues Iâve faced with online purchases before. I followed up every week and was consistently reassured â yet here I am, still without a sofa months later. To add to the irony, Iâve already received emails about âsofa care,â but I donât even have the sofa yet.
This company seems to have no respect for customersâ time or money. They are quick to advertise and sell, take full payment in advance, and then delay delivery for months while continuously extending timelines without hesitation or proper communication.
Overall, this has been a very poor and stressful customer experience, marked by lack of transparency, broken promises, and no reasonable resolution. I would strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing

Hi bought my sofa paid in full for my sofa at the start of December 2025 in dfs carraigmines, was told it would b here in for the end of February 2026 ,today's date 21st of March and now the next excuse is they have lost the sofa ,no help what so ever in finding the right manager to talk to iv spoke to about 9 different people, so nice taking ur money ,not so nice finding ur sofa ,please do not buy from this place its not worth the hassle. ð¡ð¡ð¡

We were told our sofa would arrive on the 31st Jan 2026 so we disposed of our old sofa. Our sofa never arrived and we still have no sofa a week later. Went in today to order a new sofa, the whole process was easy and quick, Isabelle looked after us so well. She was so patient even when we were indecisive. Props to her. Looking forward to receiving the sofa.
Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. I ordered a chair which arrived and Iâm happy with that but I paid â¬20 more for easy glides. These never arrived. 3 months later and no sign after several requests for calls back and many emails but no follow up thread. Itâs shocking how something so simple cannot be resolved after such a long time. I will think of doing business elsewhere in future.

I purchased a foot stool guaranteed delivery latest mid December- after numerous attempts to find out delivery time I found out it wont arrive until 23rd of December and I won't receive it, I requested a refund on numerous occasions the store manager is to call me going on weeks now. We purchased sofas based on a pre-Christmas delivery guarantee. However, the sofas will not arrive before Christmas.
I have called customer service three times. Each time, I was told they acknowledged the sofas were supposed to be delivered earlier, that the issue had been noted, and that someone would call me the next day. No one followed through.
Delays can happen, but the lack of proactive updates and the repeated failure to revert is unacceptable. Anyone considering buying from here should be aware that the customer service is not merely poor; it is effectively negative
No communication with their delivery team
"our team aim to answer your call in 5 minutes" is the most frustrating thing to listen to on the phone when you're on hold for an eternity. It's a lesson to shop local as you can ring the store where you purhcased your sofa from if you purchase it locally. We had horrendous issues with the delivery and in fairness the store manager in Blanchardstown, the branch that we bought the sofa in, did ring at one stage, but he said he'd sort the delivery issue and phone us back the next day and never did. The women and men that I spoke to in the customer service were so courteous and so kind - however, unfortunately, I would swap that for someone rude who was able to get through to the delivery team that kept failing to deliver the sofa. The DFS delivery team must run completely seperately to the customer service people as it was painful to try sort out the delivery issues. The delivery team had my wrong postcode (no idea how as it was correct on all correspondance up to that point, including on the order) and they never rang to double check the postcode or ask for any delivery information, not one phone call was made, they were happier to mark it as a failed delivery, each week, and bring it back to the depot. You can phone DFS customer service until you're blue in the face but that won't change it. The sofa to be fair is lovely, and the team who set it up were lovely, and the people on the customer service line were lovely, but it was an awful experience to sit but couchless waiting on failed deliveries week after week.

So ive been having ongoing problems with dfs im severely disabled I paid cash instore 2 weeks ago for power recliners to suit my needs £1677.00 I got rid of my furniture after they confirmed delivery that delivery didn't turn up customer services from both delivery company and dfs was well below par admitted by themselves, they couldn't give a date for delivery because of stock delays my issue is if you have no stock of said items why take my money last week I was told I could have refund manager would send me link so I could input my bank details (even though they should be giving me cash has that's how I paid) this email has not been forthcoming so im struggling to get my money back i can't buy else where has i can't afford to and I will be lucky to get furniture this side of Christmas im upset and heartbroken all rolled into 1, I contacted them yesterday they said 21 days before it can be processed ( even though was told 7 to 10 days by manager and the CEO said they would issue it quicker ) today I contacted them 3 days before they will contact me so enough is enough will contact Solicitor today, I'v emailed CEO 4 times about all of this no 1 cares! If I could give this company 0 I would so let down sat in my bed till they decide to pay up!
