Bought the uprated Street Legal Electric Bike Kit which arrive quickly and well packaged.
Before ordering I checked all the dimension on the bike as described in the listing.
It was a front wheel kit which in the end took me about 3 hours to fit.
It is a general kit which had to be adapted in places, such as the front forks had to be filed slightly to get the spindle to fit properly, the display fixing on the handlebars wouldn't fit very well so had to leave half the packing out which worked ok but didn't look that good. Also the brake triggers were a bit tricky.
In general if you take your time it will fit. There are manuals to download for installation and the display which it is recommended you print first.
I would recommend this kit.

Reading the reviews it seemed the best kit available (street legal kit) and was a complete kit with batteries and everything you need to convert your bike, although it wasn't the cheapest one on the market I felt it was the best choice weighing up all the benefits of this kit

Absolutely love this kit. I have fitted this to my matte black 7spd beach cruiser. I have built a few bikes over the last couple of years and this kit is of such a high quality. It was so easy to fit and has blended in perfect with my bike. The pedal assist is awesome. I have even been able to fit the battery on my rear rack which was something I wasn't sure I would be able to do. I was looking at purchasing cheaper kits but so glad I paid the extra. Just beware if you have very long handlebars then the wires for the thumb throttle and brake sensors may be too short. Mine are massive bars and I've still mages to get them to fit.

Handled enquiries and answered questions over the phone. Delivery was quick with tracking updates. Only issue is the "uk" phone number routes straight through to the head office in Australia!! Unfortunately their business hours roughly coincide with uk sleeping hours! So have to call them first thing in the morning to catch them before they clock off for the night.

I bought Dillenger's Bafang BBS02 mid-drive ebike conversion kit. After 200 miles, I can say that the product is top quality. Installation was not easy (beginners beware) and I had to count on Dillenger's documentation and other online information as well (they gave me the wrong password to change advanced settings for example). I contacted them ahead of receiving the product and they never replied to me, hence the "bad communication" part of the title. Was also disappointed to fork out £20+ for delivery, as I would have expected to be free for a total price over £900.

An excellent piece of kit loads of power and seems well made. One gripe was the instruction manual for installation could have been a lot clearer but the guys at Dillenger were very helpful in sorting out problems by email.

Kit arrived very quickly. It was reasonably easy to fit - although I did have one or two problems caused by the larger frame size of my hybrid bike so not Dillenger's fault. Everything functioned exactly as it should do. Even the battery arrived almost fully charged!

An excellent, well written manual available online which covered all the details on the fit. Top quality gear and the bike now got a new lease of life!

It's a brilliant ekit for bikes it's fast ,powerful ,so long as you can do a bit of DIY ,as sometimes things may need altering or tweeking , i would have liked to have had the brake levers in the price , the ones that were supplied were a stick on magnet & they come unstuck so i'm not using them & i will have to go to some one else to sort the problem , i have got 2 e kits one for a folding 20" wheel bike & the other bike is a mountain bike / road bike 26" wheel both have Dillenger's on

I bought. 1000w rear wheel from Dillenger after reading all their wonderful reviews and feed back.
After only 14 hours total usage the kit became faulty - Battery Level Display on Didgital Display ceased to show any reading. I contacted Dillenger via E-mail and after three months they finally diagnosed the fault as the control box said they would post one out to me but it never arrived weeks later after contacting the numerous times they agreed that it had got lost in transit and sent out a replacement which infinally received a couple of weeks later. Fitted this new contro box and battery level showed n the display but as soon as I operated the peddle assist the same fault imediatly occurred " no battery level shown on didgital display " I have contacted Dilllenger weekly but only ever received back their automated reply confirming receipt of my enquiry .
One three months later and not a word from Dillenger have tried their UK Telephone no which just cuts you off after two rings .
This fault was reported whilst the kit was still under their one year manufacturers warranty.
Anyone reading this should be very weary of buying from Dillenger if your not in Australia. where you can call in on them in Pearson if you have problems.
I am hoping that by posting this negative feed back it may motivate Dillengervto contact me to resolve this problem free of charge under their warranty.

This kit is heavy so you will need a bit of assistance from the motor to shift your new heavyweight byke.
Very minimum in box in way of installation instructions. There are no pointers to the website to download the manual for installation. 24 pages. Would recommend printing it out. Also had to use u tube to find info on rpas sensor light.
Give yourself plenty of time to fit the kit. Only small amount of paint to remove from dropouts to slide wheel in. Dont forget thrust washers (loose in box). Rpas disc needed a lot of trimming of plastic fins to install. Take care positioning sensor. Had to reposition mine to get close enough to disc magnets. You will not want to pedal your byke far without this feature. Throttle is ok but not for long periods.
Whilst the brake lever sensors save a lot of installation they are only stuck in position. I shall be keeping a close eye on this as failure would be very inconvenient and loss of a magnet annoying.
The arrangement of cables is a bit of an issue as its so difficult to keep it neat. Some kind of semi rigid plastic cover to the underside of the downtube might be possible.
Everything now works fine and the on-road learning curve begins. Looking forward to travelling round my part of Cumbria. Shall try to stear clear of nasty folks with wire snips as this would really spoil the day. Hopefully ebikes will become so common that the lowlife wont bother (remember car radios).

After 20 kms on full speed, 37km/h, the battery was empty so i need actually 4 times the power to be happy and visit my family more often.

Great company. Bike is easy to setup and is a pleasure to ride.
