I ordered two conversion kits for my daughter and myself & paid less for both than one electric bike would cost!. We needed a little bit of help swapping the wheels over as I didn’t have the tools but we could manage the rest ourselves quite comfortably.
There is no doubt that it has changed our lives for the better. We live some distance from the town centre on a hilly dirt road and my daughter can now comfortably ride there and back and I save on petrol & am no longer a taxi service! Plus should we ever need to upgrade our bikes we can simply transfer the kit & so resources are being used more wisely.
I could wish for a how to video that was a little more thorough for though we managed it would make it easier still & for a couple of spare rubber covers for the plug in point on the battery as my girl has lost hers somehow.
Definitely a great buy in all other respects; sound, powerful, practical & sturdy

I have owned a few e bikes over the years but the hunter v3 has got to be the best of all of then, it has all the things I want and is 3000$ less than what some competitors are offering.

Purchased the OPIA from Dillenger just before Christmas 2021 and am so happy with my purchase. Really easy to fold up and hold a really long charge. Goes at a good speed, so happy with with the overall quality. Dillenger are excellent with there customer service and very speedy delivery.

My experience with Dillenger has been great. Excellent customer service.

The conversion kit worked great with my old diamondback mountain bike I had lying around. Fitment wasn't too hard so long as you have some mechanical know how and fit for purpose tooling then anyone should be fine fitting this themselves. Great kit.

We purchased the front wheel kit. The delivery time was very quick and the installation was also straight forward and took about an hour. As someone with problem knees Bike riding was getting a bit difficult going uphill but now it is great again. I am surprised how long the battery lasts, our longest trip has only been about 75km and the charge indicator appeared to show heaps of charge left. The display works well. Would highly recommend this kit. Certainly better and better value than a kit from another company that we unfortunately bought.

We purchased two kits and were very pleasently suprised with the speed of the delivery, lease than a week. Fitting the kits was and absolute breeze, the first kit took about a hour, the second 30 minutes!
We have been using the kits daily and both have done over 2000km. There have been no problems at all. The riding experience is wonderful plus a range of over 100 km per charge. This is a quality kit, the wheels are still perfectly true, the battery bracket hasn't moved a millimeter, this kit just keeps on going!

I recently purchased the premium off-road conversion kit from Dillenger. Having very little mechanical skills I was still able to install this kit with the instructions provided.

Having owned this kit now for 3 months, all the parts are holding up great and the bike is a lot of fun to ride. I've taken it off road a few times also during this time and have been pleasantly surprised.

Before purchasing I had worries that this kit wouldn't fit my bike, but Dillenger were very responsive over email and provided me printable templates to see if the battery cradle would fit.

Would use this company again in the future.

Ordered front, rear wheel and mid mount kits for myself and two friends. Kits arrived within a week which was great service. Watched video on how to fit each kit and subsequently had no problems. Recommend sourcing tools at same time as these make the job easier.

I had been looking at Electric Bike Conversions for some time, with some scientism, Dillenger was Australian and the reviews appeared to support their quality. I placed my order on a Sunday, come the Monday I realised I needed a gear pack. I texted Dllenger to add that to the order and was informed that the order had already been processed and would be dispatched separately by mail the following day. to my surprise the initial order arrived the next day. Unfortunately the experience was spoiled by the delay of the second parcel due to Covid delays. Not Dillenger's fault.

Assembly was easy with the instructions and videos, the performance, once completed, was above my expectations a couple of hills that would require get off and walk, now became bumps in the road.

My interaction with Dillenger has been very satisfactory.

I have recently purchased the off road kit to install on my Gaint hard tail. The installation was relatively easy and made easier with the installation manual and YouTube videos online. The bike is now easy to ride all day and I now lead the pack instead of being last in the pack. I am nearly 70 and appreciate the help of the conversion.
I would recommend the off road kit for retro fitting to your MTB.

Bought the Off Road 500w ebike kit. Love it so much! Been out riding so much now and able to venture out much further than usual. Has great power and battery lasts enough for a good long ride.
Delivery was quick, install was easy with good instructions. Highly recommended.

I got a premium offroad kit for my Giant mountain bike. It's great, extremely powerful and makes hill climbs a breeze.

In retrospect I would have probably put it on a cheaper bike, as even the motor on its own does add a bit of weight. The other thing I would have considered is leaving off the pedal assist - it may sound odd, but here's why. The pedal assist takes a second or two to turn off power when you stop pedalling. That's mostly fine, but just occasionally it isn't, and my particular kit doesn't come with a brake sensor to immediately cut power. The throttle is so good, I'm mostly happy leaving pedal assist at 0 and just using it for climbs and long boring flats. It also stops applying power as soon as you let it go.

In short, I recommend the kit as an excellent offroad upgrade for a solid bike. It's got to be solid, because you'll be riding it hard!

Customer support is great with friendly staff and fast replies. I purchased the premium offroad electric bike kit. I have almost got 1000kms on it and it’s still running like new. I haven’t noticed any problems so far and I’m really pleased with the company. I would recommend you to have a closer look at their stock.

I got the Premium Offroad Electric bike kit conversion. The design and material quality are excellent and perfect to attach to a normal pushbike ( also the kit doesn`t contain many annoying pieces so the bike has pretty discrete normal looking). I`ve been using my electric bike pretty much every day to work as I live further away from there, the battery lasts long distances and has been resisting heavy rains without any issue. Even using it now for a few months very often the performance keeps intact which is a great sign of a good quality battery. I`m more than happy with this product and definitely excellent value/ quality comparing the rest of the market.

Have bought two premium off road kits and they perform great on a tandem and road bike.

The Dillenger electric conversion kit has transformed my Hybrid bike. it was easy to install, looks very slimline and goes like a scalded cat. Acceleration is unbelievable

I first purchased the Dillenger Hunter V3 after much research and good experience with an earlier model Dillenger folding bike. Being a local company, back up and service were an important part of my decision. The Hunter is a great all rounder for local bike paths and really shines off road. My wife soon found she liked the Hunter so much, I had to look for another alternative for my ride. My old mtn bike, 6yr Giant ATX, was in good condition and the Off road kit has made into a real rocket. The kit was easy to install for an average home tinkerer. Advice was available from the office when needed and early battery problem was fixed with a new battery, after testing the original, in one hour at the office in Arundel. I am in my 70’s and riding more than ever and finding trails and tracks I would never have tackled before. I would strongly recommend Dillinger’s bikes and service. A good Australian company developing innovative and quality products.

We were looking at replacing our second car with an e-bike which was well worth it. I have now ridden over 2500km with this kit in under 10 weeks with no issues at all have now decided sell the second vehicle. It truly is a second car replacement. The kit it well packed and delivered within 2 business days. I did not realize at first that I needed a different gear cluster to the one on my bike so I had to purchase a new one which they also have available in the store. Installation is straight forward although I did have to remove my rear brake assembly and reconnect after for correct alignment. There are a few little quirks with installation as every bike is slightly different however the installation guide does mention these variations to help with installation. In the end I did not have any issues with installation, it did take a few hours so you just must be patient and take one step at a time. I also recommend purchasing the appropriate installation tool kit if you do not happen to have a decent set of bike tools. This will assist with removal of your existing hub etc. I have since also purchased the Dillenger rear rack and added a basket and use it to do all basic shopping as well as ride to and from work and Uni. I am quite impressed to be honest. The price is great and it performs well above my expectations. Highly recommend.

Overall, I found this kit easy to install on my Specialized Rockhopper. Works great and has greatly improved my riding experience. The only qualm I have is with the magnetic brake overrides. They only have double sided tape to install them but getting them in the right position can require multiple attempts. I ended up using hot glue and silicone glue. I understand the difficulty of providing a generic fixing method to different styles of brake handles but some development thought in this area would greatly improve the kit. Maybe something along the lines of clipping the cable-side of the brake sensor to the brake cable where it enters the hand brake bracket. I would have rated this kit 5 stars if this was done.

Had my Giant hybrid bike converted,with a front wheel street legal.
I took the bike to Dillinger, they checked fist to see if my bike was compatible.
I had the conversion done by Dillinger, they were very efficent, they updated when my bike would be ready,( actually ahead of time).
I ride most days around 40k ,love the kit no more hills or headwinds .
Ihave had many people ask me about the conversion and I have no hesitation,recomending Dillinger.
