I starting visiting the DISC Chiropractors in NOV 2025.
I was feeling so much pain in my lover back, along my left leg, and was experiencing many cramps. There was also pain in my neck and left shoulder.I was not sure what i did, but it became quite unbearable. It was difficult to sit , to stand and to walk.
Dr Dimitri Bakalis is doing my treatments and he is very professional and understanding. He is very thorough and explained all my symptoms and the issues carefully so that i could understand.
Since starting the treatment, I have felt much improvement , and feeling 70% better than when i started, I am only halfway through, but I can really feel that we are working in the right direction and am feeling alot less pain and discomfort. Everyone at the clinic is very supportive and professional. I would highly recommend this team if you are suffering from lower back pain.

The team is very friendly, welcoming and skilled at what they do. I had never been to a chiropractor before but they were helpful in mapping out how it all worked, first steps and what the treatment would look like. I am very happy with the results, and with the emphasis on long term prevention of problems.

I have been a patient of the clinic since 2006. David and his team at DISC are truly outstanding, as is the clinic's state-of-the-art technology. David has built an incredible, physical medicine, knowledge base that consistently identifies and addresses root causes. For me, my four-weekly appointments are essential components of my fitness and well-being regime. Highly recommended.

Visited with quite severe sciatica.
Positives:
- friendly and professional
- initial assessment, x-ray and short trial on traction (aka decompression) bed at very little cost
- analysis of condition was accurate and valid
Negatives:
- recommended treatment plan would cost £2,520
- at that cost, one needs to be sure it will work but the scientific evidence is that traction offers no benefit compared to placebo
- in reception is a magazine called "What Doctor's Don't Tell You", full of homeopathic 'remedies' (aka scam nonsense) and homeopathic clinic adverts and even an article entitled "How Mistletoe can help cure cancer"
- spinal consultant advised that this form of treatment offers no reliable benefit

I had no idea just how painful sciatica could be , until I had an attack myself! I turned once again to Disc in Surbiton. As always they came to the rescue.
Much work was done on my back (thank you Dimitris) I had an x-ray and was advised to have decompression sessions to ease the problem.
3weeks later I have hardly any pain, I can walk unsupported and can see the light at the end of this tunnel.
The care and understanding is there from everyone, leaving me with a more positive attitude, which helps. A huge thankyou to everyone who has helped me.

I'm happy to share my experience with professional staff from The Disc . I've meet them in great pain and walking with crouch after follow the plan they made for me after the sessions they left me no pain and great results. thank you

Dr Dimitris was able to help my son with a long-term back issue last year and the results were wonderful so I had no hesitation in seeking his help for my own issue this year. I’ve been coming to The DISC Chiropractors for three months now and I can’t recommend it enough. I slipped a disc (L5-S1) around a year and a half now but I still had lower back pain, glute pain, pins and needles in my lower leg and numbness in the ball of my foot and toes. At the clinic everybody is always kind and very polite, but above all they are amazing chiropractors. I’ve been mainly treated by Ricky but, David and James have helped me too and I feel better with every session. They are genuinely concerned about my wellbeing and they’ve tried different treatment protocols, made manual adjustments, decompression, and even electric impulses. I had tailored exercise routines designed and recommendations on how to improve posture. Overall, I have improved my pain levels, I have much less numbness in my foot, which sometimes now I feel completely normal again, although I have some residual numbness some bad days. My pins and needles have almost completely subsided, I have better range of motion and flexibility, and I’ve come back to my sports and to do my job without hurting myself. I’m very grateful to the whole team so, please try it if, like I felt before, you are suffering and are feeling hopeless already. Thank you. Jenny

Having just started my treatment plan with Disc Chiropractors, in particular David and James, I can already say how impressed I am. Having been with various Chiropractors for over a decade, within one consultation they identified an issue I have had since birth..! something a Specialist Consultant Surgeon never spotted.

I find everyone at the practice very friendly approachable and encouraging. They listen, advise and make a recovery plan. I have been with DISC for many years on and off and every time they have addressed the back, hip or disc issue, treated me and given great advise using the most up to date technology. There is such a positive vibe and encouragement that they can help with any injury! Cannot recommend highly enough. Especially David and James … my go to duo !!

Just begun here, very impressed with this clinic so far. Bit of a trek to Surbiton for a Chiropractor but given they a specialists in sciatica treatment I’m hoping it’s well worth the travel! Spinal decompression seem the real deal can’t wait for my next stretch session & will happily add another star if and when they can finally cure my pain, after so many have failed!

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Team at DISC Chiropractors. I had hip pain for a number of months which was causing me a lot of discomfort. The treatment I received from James and David eliminated the pain and solved my problem. I was also given exercises to undertake to ensure that I maintain my progress.
I can’t thank the team enough for getting me back to full fitness.

We have been seeing David for years and have recommended him and Disc Chiropractors to everyone we know.
