Dean and the crew are truly amazing. They curated the most amazing and memorable experience for our family.

I enjoyed the guides and was very impressed with the amount of information they gave us. The food was wonderful. My only complaint was that we were not told that the Orca and wales were only seen in early spring. I may have booked an earlier trip had I known that. Perhaps you could inform people what animals they are most likely to see depending on the time of year.

The difference between five and four, for me, is the changes made by having cruise ships in PWS.

Great trip to show my adult kids how spectacular Alaska is. A little rain did not deter us from lots of exploring. Food top notch as always. Thanks so much!!!

The small boat enabled us to get very close to all types of wildlife and scenery. The crew was fantastic, very knowledgeable and accommodating. We felt like we were in a five star hotel. Once in a lifetime experience, but would I do it again, you bet!

The owners of the Discovery, Dean and Meg, were so accommodating and helpful. Dean got a sense for what the group wanted to do and tried to cater to everyone's interest and activity level. The two guides, Phyllis and Hugh, were extremely knowledgeable and fun to be around. We did a lot, saw a lot, learned a lot, and in general had an amazing week. Meg worked her magic for three meals a day in the kitchen and the food was fantastic with lots of fresh seafood and accommodations for everyone's dietary restrictions. I loved that there was a lot of quiet time to read or sit outside and take in the magnificent scenery. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone who is okay staying on a small boat. My husband and I are not large people and we are reasonably fit so we were fine. But it would not work well for someone who has difficulty with stairs or climbing into a bunk bed.

Being on the Discovery Voyage was awesome! The crew was totally into making everyone comfortable and making sure everyone was having a good experience. We were well fed with absolutely delicious food. We saw some beautiful mountains, water falls and glaciers.
I would highly recommend this trip to anyone.

A flawless, personalised small-boat voyage through one of the US’ most beautiful wildernesses - in fact the only one of its kind… what more can I say?

The crew is friendly, informative, easy to be around! They really try to make you enjoy the experience and see as much as possible! And,, the food is outstanding!

Everything was perfect!! Crew/staff were wonderful . Meals were excellent. Local seafood. Goes to the most beautiful places in Prince William Sound. Opportunities to hike and kayak.

This turned out to be a once in a lifetime experience for me. This boat took us to places that no cruise ship could ever go--We saw beauty every minute of the trip. The crew of the boat was phenomenal--the guides, the meals, the service was top of the line and all of our needs were met. I would recommend this trip to anyone who loves nature and the beauty to be found in it. The wildlife was unbelievable and up close (from a little distance). A photographer's dream!

The knowledge, experience and friendliness of the crew made this a high quality experience. The crew was very open and happy to share their significant knowledge with us. I thoroughly enjoyed all of our conversations and the activities that were planned.

Discovery Voyage was thrilling, educational and fun! It was our first trip to Alaska. My hope was to see glaciers. We got that, and so much more! Captain Dean, Megan and their staff Tori and Lana are naturalists and amazing! We instantly felt comfortable. Megan is also a superb chef. Our fellow travelers were great to be around while we enjoyed the hikes, kayaking and one of the most exciting moments was when we all witnessed from the deck the calving of a glacier. Lots of “wows!” It was only a few days, but we created the best memories.

The Captain and Crew of the Discovery made us feel special during the entire voyage. Their knowledge of the region, the hidden coves, the history, and the culture, all made for a magical experience. I can truly say that this trip exceeded my already high expectations. My two sons and my father-in-law also joined and they were equally impressed.

The Discovery cruise was majestic - even with 3 days of rain! Captain Dean and his co-captain/chef/wife Meg, along with crew team Tori and Tyler, were amazing guides and stewards of Prince William Sound, knowledgeable, super helpful and always cheerful. Accommodations were tidy and comfy and Meg’s meals were outstanding. Really enjoyed the small group of passengers too.

Everything about this experience was amazing. Meg's cooking was off the charts good and Dean made sure we had time by the glaciers to watch them calve. What an incredible way to see Alaska!

Truly a once in a lifetime experience. I will never forget the peace I felt watching waterfalls on the deck, then going inside to a warm meal.

Excellent communication from pre booking through voyage. Captain Dean’s knowledge and experience was superlative. Meg’s cooking was fantastic. Excellent friendliness, service, and knowledge from the guides. Incredible location with ongoing opportunities to see Alaska up close and personal.
