I recommend you choose the pay on delivery option if you go with this company. They communicated in long email explanations but this company is unable to determine or estimate when their packages arrive so you can't rely on the estimated dates or tracking updates at all. Do not look at the estimate on their website and use that to decide if you can wait, its likely very untrue even if it seems lone a long time away. Strategic word choices used so even if it says in "Johannesburg warehouse" it doesn't necessarily mean its locally available. Disappointed me in the end and I had to make a late alternative plan but did send another email explaining themselves (similar to the caveats on their website). Not scammers, just not good.

I placed my order on the 27th of August and paid in full on the same day. I have repeatedly followed up with them. First I was told the order was stuck in customs. Then I was told it had cleared customs and was on its way to their warehouse. That was two weeks ago! I don’t believe I will ever receive my order (today is the 7th of October). I have requested a full refund. If I don’t get my money back I’ll be taking legal action. Beware! Don’t order from ‘DisasterNode’.

Pricing is good but be prepared to wait very long for your item. I purchased an HP Webcam on 14/08/2026 and after payment was made Distrinode's expected delivery date was 1 Sept 2026. I only received my item yesterday on 29/09/2026. @Distrinode: Please do not respond with your practiced or AI responses or any excuses because that is all it was the whole time.

Distri node uses false advertising to get sales. I found them online advertising the Behringer X Touch for aprox R7195.00 per unit. I checked their website and it said they have 20 in stock. So I placed the order as a collection order, To pay on collection which they offer on their web page. I tried calling their cell lines but they don't answer. I then get an e mail requesting me to pay 10%. I send them an e mail saying why and eventually after a couple of emails they then tell me they have to import. They are extremely devious and Im not sure what there game is.
It certainly not honesty. I hope they are investigated.

The order we placed was fullfilled fully although it did take longer than expected. Feedback was prompt, friendly and always willing to try and improve their service offered.
We are satisfied with the product ordered and it was correctly supplied. We will make use of their service in future as they are comitted to improving delivery time and service!

DistriNode are real they are ligit international company You can buy from them with confidence They are in Germany Poland Lithuania Latvia Italy They are not scammers they don't steel people's money I mean where did you find a company that expect a 10% deposit and you can pay balance when it arrives and you collect I bought from them I received my goods in perfect order as described and undamaged It's made in ligit company factory and serial numbers match manufacturer database I got email updates and could tract all progress I got replies from my WhatsApp messages I had excellent service

This is a scam - i placed an order about a month ago. I have since sent multiple messages and called several times, with no update each time. In fact, i have been ghosted. I will be taking this up with the police now. thieves.

I was a little worried when my order was held up at customs (obviously something that was out of anyone's control) - but i have to say that the manor and efficiency in which my order was handled was extremely professional and prompt.. this is definitely a company that i will use again, it isn't just about their great prices its also that they understand customer service..

This is an update of my experience....After the bad experience I have had with them, I was personally contacted by the owner. I explained the situation, he understood and apologised. I am also a business man and for him to come out to me, means that he also worries about his customers. He has gone out of his way (As we all should for customer service) - after all, we need the customers to come back. Thank you Distrinode, for giving me some positive feedback and assurance. I will be buying from them again. Thank you.

Scammers with lies and more lies. Goods never arrove they lie about their bad reviews and state they dont take payment before the shipment arrives yet their own terms conditions say completely the oposite, their vat number is fake and the bank account does not match. Totally unknown “distributor” with zero authorisation from manufacturers and no telephone numbers work or WA and there premises is a house in centurion and it’s all complete online scam attempting to sell via a fancy site with ZERO credibility - don’t trust these scammers or buy from them as they WILL burn you

6 weeks and still waiting for my order!! Bought a Samsung T7 1TB SSD on distrinode and waited weeks. Nobody calls back, just automatted emails. I never recieved the product so I had no choice but to cancel. No one picked up the calls either!!! I should of just gone to takealot :-( for few rand more now I lost my money too. Still no responce about a refund or my money back. This is out of desperation I am posting. They know my order details so reply to me!

UPDATE: I was just called back they closing down and that I will get my refund. I also SAW NOW that BOBSHOP SUSPENDED THEM! A SCAM company beware. I hope I get my money back.

Order #388069 was placed on September 2nd. The last communication received was an automated notification on the same date, confirming that the order was being processed.

Since then, there has been no further communication regarding the order's status. Multiple attempts to contact the company via email and phone have been unsuccessful.

A support ticket was also generated through the AI chat facility, but no follow-up contact has been received.

The complete lack of response and resolution has led to significant concern regarding the fulfillment of this order.

Whoever wants to use this company to order online equipment should re-think.

If you are impatient, or need the items quickly don’t order here.

BUT, if you can wait this is the best service in town. I ordered the Akai MPC Sample in early August, and the item arrived 6/7 weeks later. Overall 25% cheaper than if I were to import through a local vendor.

Now that I know to just wait, Ill defs use them again for more niche audio gear, and computer hardware.

I ordered a phone from Distrinode that is not available anywhere in South Africa. I sent them numerous emails throughout the process as I was nervous about making my first expensive purchase with a young company. They always responded in a very helpful and timely manner.

The process did not go completely smoothly, hence why I did not give 5 stars. Delivery of my purchase was delayed multiple times and I was unable to use the "Pay on Delivery" option due to courier issues. However, Distrinode remained extremely helpful and honest throughout the process. I received my phone in perfect condition and I definitely would not have been able to get it in South Africa for the great price that I got on Distrinode.

This company is in no way a scam. I am emphasising this point because I was struggling to find a review that clarified this when I did my research about the company. If you decide to shop with Distrinode, you might not get your product on time, but you will definitely get excellent customer service and a product that is in excellent condition.

This is an up-and-coming business in South Africa that is very honest about their faults and even more willing to improve. I hope they remain open for a long time and continue to improve!

On 24th August I ordered and paid for an item, was told to expect delivery 2 September. 11 September I'd still not received delivery and subsequently requested refund, which I received 15 September. However still a frustrating experience, communication was slow, perhaps quote realistic lead times for delivery?

Complete scammers. If I could rate 0 star I would. Communication has been very poor, delivery dates have come & gone multiple times. Promises have been made with no deliveries. Can’t get a hold of them anymore & they no longer reply at all, completely ghosted.

After issuing them with a letter of demand they have paid the refund in full. Will never order with them again though.

Absolutely horrendous experience.

I have changed my experience to 5 stars as the owner contacted me personally to apologise for the disastrous experience I've had and offered me store credit. I appreciate them doing this to build a strong B2C relationship.

On August 14th, I ordered an Echo Show 8 from Distro Node. The next morning, I cancelled the order to purchase two different items from their store instead and requested a refund.

I was told the refund could only be processed after the product arrived in South Africa. It has now been three weeks, the product still has not arrived in the country, and my refund remains unprocessed for an order I cancelled weeks ago.

Their operations present several major issues:

Inoperable phone numbers: Their listed contact numbers do not work.

Repetitive AI bots: Customer communication is limited to AI bots providing generic, automated responses.

No PayFast recourse: PayFast offers no mechanism for customers to report merchants who take payments for stock they do not possess.

Do not waste your money with Distro Node. Holding customer funds for unfulfilled, non-existent inventory while providing zero human support is completely unacceptable.
