Wish I’d read the negative reviews but seeing as the majority were good I thought it would be ok, I thought wrong.

The best part of the whole experience was the lovely delivery team.

When I placed the order I never heard anything re delivery and had to contact the company for an update. The man on the phone was polite.

The bed however is nothing like the advertised picture, poor quality, headboard and side panels not as padded / thick as displayed - just a bit of covered chipboard, the side panels do not align, can see folded fabric lumps, and visible staples.

I contacted the company within a couple of hours of delivery to report the issues and no response.

I ordered an electric bed. They changed the date of delivery without letting me know and then denied it. They did not answer the phones despite me ringing for 30 mins at a time on the day of the delivery. They ignored emails and eventually said they didn't get them. Their email address is on their webpage. I cancelled the order because I thought that if there was a mechanical problem with this bed I would be in great difficulties contacting anyone. I then had to start a fight to get my money back. They did not accept the cancellation and carried on sending emails and texts to say when the order was going to be delivered. I told them I would refuse delivery and I threatened to inform the police of harassment and fraud for not returning my money. Then they returned some of my money several days later. As a disabled person I had to have help with organising my bedroom for delivery so there was a major problem when it didn't arrive. I had to organise another lot of help to put everything back again that same night. I did not want to go through that again so I cancelled the order. I got some of my money back but not all of it so now I have had to invove PayPal to get the rest back. They still owe me over £100 for the assembly of a bed I didn't have and the disassembly of a bed I'm actually sleeping on, both of which were cancelled along with the electric bed. A really traumatic experience with this company. I would not give a star at all if there was an option.
Addendum: I did not request a Friday delivery I was told to expect a Friday delivery whether or not I liked it. I most emphatically did not like it. I asked why they had not sent me an email to let me know of a delay if they couldn't get me on the phone - no answer to that one. It is not my problem if they looked up the wrong telephone number from PayPal. I do not give out my phone number. One number is work and another is home on PayPal. Clearly they did not try both and then accused me of not giving them the correct number. Had they bothered to answer their telephones all of this could have been averted. I sent numerous emails to the factory AND the delivery company. I have no doubt they will tell more lies to PayPal to avoid paying me the rest of the money they owe me so I will provide all the evidence needed to PayPal to prove they are lying. It seems this company are very good at avoiding paying back to customers what they are owed judging by the customer reviews and the number of court cases against them with company names being changed especially as they are being investigated by the police.

My husband and myself decided on a whim we needed a new bed on a Thursday night, came across The Divan Factory on Google and liked the price so ordered it there and then. By the next morning we had an email confirming our order and explaining the shipping company would be in touch to arrange delivery. Got the delivery message Monday, bed was delivery Wednesday morning.
The 2 guys delivering where lovely, very friendly and helpful.
The bed though... wow the bed! It looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and for such a good price (super king bed and mattress) overall we're really happy with the whole service and would recommend to friends and family.

Excellent service! When I first ordered the divan (with headboard and mattress), the Divan Factory Outlet representative was very helpful and gave me a great discount which I appreciated.

Delivery today was on time and the two delivery guys disassembled my old bed, took it away with old mattress and put my new bed with headboard and mattress together within minutes!

First rate service all round!

Originally we ordered a double side ottoman divan bed which turned out completely wrong for the room and was difficult for us to close, we didn't like the colour either. However, the company changed it for a bottom opener in a different colour without any quibble so we are now very happy with the bed and very grateful that they changed it so easily.

Great product with very reasonable price. Helpful staff and delivery was on time.

I ordered two beds — one divan and one ottoman — and I honestly couldn’t be happier with them. I was quite sceptical at first because they were so much cheaper than other sellers, but I needn’t have worried. The quality is amazing, they look fantastic and they feel really well made.

Unfortunately, the foot end of one of the beds was damaged during transit. However, the customer service was just as impressive as the beds themselves. I messaged them and they responded promptly and arranged for a replacement foot end to be delivered without any hassle.

I would definitely recommend this company. Fantastic quality, great prices and excellent customer service. I’m so pleased with both beds!

We had a delivery of two head boards and bed frames and a mattress. On arrival, we discovered that a mattress had not been included in the delivery. The team went out of their way to ensure that the mattress arrived as quickly as possible, so my mum was comfortable. Sure enough, a member of the team delivered on his promise and the mattress arrived the very next day. He also ensured my mum was compensated for the inconvenience and really went above and beyond in helping us, which is much appreciated. The team assembling the beds were polite and professional and very efficient.

Ordered an orthopaedic mattress, back care, hotel standard with deep cushioning and damask cover, received a cheap soft mattress with nylon cover and very soft, nothing like the picture or detailed information, wrong company immediately on delivery explaining it was not the correct mattress, asked them to collect it and refund, was told i would have to pay collection fee!! Mentioned it was their mistake not mine and most definitely would not be paying any fee, my statutory rights as clearly not as stated, have contacted them again and told they would collect, still waiting on confirmation, explained the mattress is taking up space in my living room and need collected asap, as far i have had messages ignored, hope to get resolve quickly and refunded, my advice is never buy online!

Two single beds for our hotel. Spoken to Julie and she was very helpful. Delivered and assembled in no time. Good company to deal with. We will order some more beds in future. Thank You

We ordered another one for our guest room and both times delivery was on time and quality products.

I purchased a monarch guest bed from this company which was delivered by two men thst just about threw the bed into the bedroom and made a hasty retreat!
I was left absolutely appalled at what I received, the bed it's self has been built from flimsy rough dawn timber full of splinters ( I've seen smoother pallets), one of the mattresses is filthy and torn. I've emailed the company and tried to contact them by phone and have been completely blanked. I am now starting to pursue this matter through the courts. I wish I could add photos to this review...I promise you you'd be shocked. PLEASE TAKE HEED, DO NOT BE SCAMMED AS I HAVE BEEN! STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THAT YOU CAN. THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT TO BE TRUSTED. Not sure if their previous positive reviews are GENUINE.

Really great customer experience. A slight hiccup in delivery, I’d scheduled the delivery date, but didn’t get email/ text confirmation (so forgot). Jump forward to delivery day, I got a call an hour before delivery to remind me and check about delivery, which adds to the great customer service I’ve received. It was an easy delivery to my downstairs hall (as I requested). I had one follow up question about the bars on the ottoman (not connected) about 1 month after delivery and I got a reply within a few hours, I was able to easily attach the bars. Great customer service on the whole!

Dreadful company. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, THEY ARE TOTALLY UNRELIABLE, DO NOT DO WHAT THEY PROMISE. I bought an electric bed base and also paid an extra £121 for it to be assembled, packaging taken away and the old base to be taken as well. The couriers did non of these things. We are elderly, disabled and in our 80s. They didn't care], they left the bed base on the landing, refused to take away the old base and went down the stairs and drove away. When I informed the supplier he promised a refund (I am still waiting) and to remove the old base (still waiting). Cannot get hold of them by phone and they do not reply to emails. THEY ARE A DEAD LOSS.

My bed arrived 10 days late, it was damaged and not fully assembled so couldn’t use as expected.
On seeking a return and refund I felt I was pressured,coerced and bullied into accepting a replacement.
I feared I would lose all my money and be left with a damaged and unusable bed and the only way to get a usable bed was to comply.
The manager refused to remove the damaged bed and refund my money.
I have contacted my bank who are pursuing the matter alongside reporting the incident to the police via their excellent action fraud division

The reply below from the company is INCORRECT and a tactic to blame the customer.
Thankfully ACTION FRAUD is investigating this “company”

We ordered a single electric bed for a neighbour returning home from hospital, and Ali was instrumental in correcting my ordering mistakes and kindly upgraded the mattress and headboard at no extra cost. On delivery day, the friendly team couldn’t get the bed into the bedroom, but Ali stepped in immediately and arranged a solution.
A few days later, a different and equally excellent bed arrived, was unpacked, assembled, and fitted perfectly, with the original bed and all packaging removed. Our neighbour is delighted and sleeping very comfortably - great for her breathing and bliss for any swelling in her ankles.

Nice ottoman storage base and excellent supportive pocket mattress. Custom made headboard was amazing. Highly recommended
