Doctorum is a platform supported by selected UK-accredited subspecialist radiologists, able to access and report radiological imaging in all subspecialties including MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, PET CT, Ultrasound, DEXA, X-Rays, Interventional Radiology & Mammography. The organisation is led by system-specific radiologists including neuroradiology, musculoskeletal imaging, interventional ('pinhole surgery') radiologists and dual accredited molecular imaging specialists. Doctorum specialises in providing written second opinions on previous (NHS & private) imaging including pre-medicolegal assessment, but also offers subspecialist reports for NHS scans that have finally been performed yet are taking weeks to months to be reported. The platform can assist with retrieving medical imaging from any facility in the UK using the Image Exchange Protocol, and sending images anywhere in the world with Internet access. Urgent reports as well as report auditing are also available by agreement.

Fantastic service. I had a reply to my first contact email within half an hour. My scan was sent across and advised if it was adequate enough for interpretation, and the specific questions I wanted to know, prior to payment. I then had a very thorough written report within hours. Tony was professional, quick to reply and compassionate about my situation. 5*

I Excellent Experience with Clear and Comprehensive Results

Great service and reasonable price …
This is a really great service and reasonable priced too. I'm very pleased to have a second opinion on my recent MRI from a radiologist that is slightly more specialised for my needs. Leading Experts and Quick Turnaround - A Standout Business!
I used Doctorum as I needed a second opinion on an historic scan from a leading diagnostic scan provider in 2024. Turns out the other provider had missed some vital info which the leading experts at Doctorum comprehensively detailed and did so in very quick time! This helped my historic investigation to no end. I would highly recommend this top tier business whether you feel uncertain about a "cookie cutter" style report from an MRI provider, or just genuinely need clarification. These guys will explain in more detail, what's really going on. Highly recommended - 5 stars!

Absolutely A1 analysis from a team of top tier medical specialists. The way I was attended to and the time and interest given was second to none.
They went above and beyond what I could have asked and spared no effort in going back into my past records for comparison to more recent ones.
I was frankly amazed at their service.
For the time taken and expertise applied the cost was surprisingly economical too.

Excellent help!
I asked for a second opinion on xrays and MRIs and received excellent help. They were very informative, polite and helpful. I received a thorough report on my images which cleared up previous misinterpretations of them and this makes it easier for me to try to find solutions for my problems. I could even ask a follow-up question and get an explanation so that I could understand the results better. Such a relief! Highly recommend this company, and dr Gademsetty who was the doctor that reviewed my case.

Super fast, specialist review from highly qualified team
Super fast, friendly specialist mri review service.
I initially spoke to Dr Lopez, who answered the phone late on a Friday afternoon. I explained my symptoms and the challenges I was having with both NHS and private consultants (neither of whom had even looked at the mri scans I had provided). He was able to check the resolution of my mri images and forwarded them to an appropriate specialist. I had my report back first thing Monday morning.
I learned more about the diagnostic challenges for my particular symptoms in a handful of emails with Dr Lopez than I had in 8 months of grueling nhs/private consultations. As a result I was able to do some more focused research myself, based on the info Dr Lopez gave me, and although there is still quite a way to go I, at least now know the appropriate diagnostic pathway I need and what to look for in a new consultant. All of which I am extremely grateful for.

I received my report within two days
I contacted Doctorum on a Friday afternoon. By the Saturday, I had sent them my PET scan imaging and been in numerous communications with Dr. Lopez via both email and WhatsApp. To then receive Dr. Ashford's report on the Sunday, was absolutely amazing. Such fast and smooth service, which I have never experienced elsewhere in the private healthcare sector. A truly fantastic service and one that is most definitely needed, as our NHS isn't exactly known for being fast!

Great service much needed in modern medicine!
This is a much needed service, believe it or not I contacted Doctorum when my local hospital radiologist read my MRI as me having large colon, however my colon was completely removed a year ago! Concerning, what we have found over the years is radiologists seem totally unreachable. When there are clear issues with readings, you cannot speak directly to the radiologists to understand more. Also clinicians fail to give a full and accurate medical history to the radiologists, hence much is missed or dismissed! This service definitely bridges the gap somewhat. Tony was also able to go back to the radiologist with my ‘extra questions’ without hesitation. I definitely support a service like this which empowers patients to understand more about their bodies and ask questions to understand their condition. This is the modern age, yet many doctors fail to even give patients their own reports, even privately they are not routinely given without a lengthy SARs process.

Outstanding company
I received an extremely comprehensive report for a second opinion for a previous MRI on my ankle.
Dr Lopez (Tony) absolutely gave me his undivided attention until I received the report which was much wider ranging than my original report. I was also very impressed by how reasonable the cost was for such a detailed report. All in all I was very impressed by the service I received.
