3/29/26: The driver was simply put rude. When entering the bus I asked if we needed the green earbuds and I reached for them. He rudely replied “NO” and then sarcastically asked if I would let him touch things in my house. I replied, “Yes”thinking he was joking with me. He then indicated that I would not and that the ear buds were for people who didn’t speak English, he then proceeded to say in a caustic voice “…and you obviously speak English” to which I responded back to him in Spanish. In addition, he only played the scripted and taped audio for 95% of the ride. And the worst part is that when we went to get off at a stop and were getting ready to exit the bus (and he could see this via his video up above) he started moving the bus and didn’t let us off. Because of this we had to ride the rest of the route and get in a different bus at Stop 1. When we finally got to Christ Church and St. Patrick’s cathedral they were both closed. If he would have let us off we easily would have seen both stops. In addition, thinking he was funny he went around the round about at least 5-6 times in a circle singing “the wheels of the bus go round and round…” over and over. He was unprofessional, rude, and sarcastic and had no interest in his job or his passengers.

Luckily, for us the second driver who picked us up at Stop 1(where the first driver let us off) was very friendly, provided live voice history the whole trip and didn’t rely on the taped version. He was interested in his job and you could tell it. He sang lovely Irish songs and was an excellent tour guide.

So glad we decided to Hop On! Our driver, Tyrone, was a rockstar! The stops give you access to all the attractions around town.
Ticket includes free admission to a couple museums and galleries as well. Overall, a great experience!

Really enjoyed the trip, drivers were friendly and informative. It was easy to get from point to point along the route. Best way to see the city, especially from the top deck.

We had Stephen S as our driver and he did an excellent job. He was in training but it would have been hard to know if he hadn’t shared that fact with us. Keep up the good work.

Brilliant bus tour by all the guides especially James and Ray. Really informative with many laughs along the journey.

This was so much fun. Lovely tour guides ie bus drivers on each bus we hopped on and off. Made the adventure for the day. Their stories and comments of knowledge very unique. Thank you to you all.

The bus operator (Dermot) was friendly and sang very well! He made the trip! Now on the downside, the bus only came every 30 minutes. Since it was February, I can see the infrequency; but it still held me back a little.

Johnny Mac was our driver & he was very accommodating and friendly. Made our tour enjoyable and recommended places for our short stay. Love the girls from Fife.

Tour was very good. Edgar and Tyrone were welcoming and friendly and kept us all entertained.

My sister and I have been on many hop-on-hop-off tours and other sightseeing tours that informed you with recorded guides. Our DoDublin tour was by far the best ever! Our guide brought history to life with his jokes, singing, and great sense of humour. This trip will be long remembered because of Dermot's humourous delivery. Don't miss out. Your day in Dublin will be memorable for sure if you are fortunate to have Dermot as your guide.

The tour was great value for money, it also included an afternoon tour of the Docklands area. The tour was informative, entertaining and funny and the drivers were welcoming and friendly.

Contratamos el pack "Almacén Guinness + City Tour de 24 horas" y resultó ser un auténtico fiasco. En el primer autobús que tomamos, conectamos los cascos y seguimos toda la información en español de los lugares por donde íbamos pasando. Después de la primera parada que hicimos, en el resto de autobuses que tomamos ya no funcionaba la audioguía, las explicaciones sólo eran en ingles. A la vuelta el conductor sólo hacía la parada si lo solicitabas, vimos como quedaba un viajero sin recoger en una parada pese a que el autobús iba vacío. Para colmo de males la visita a la Guinnes nos dejó completamente indiferentes, es una loa continua de su cerveza en un edificio sobresaturado de gente y en el que ya no se elabora la cerveza.

Fabulous experience. Informative and a whole lot of fun! Our driver made the journey very entertaining adding humour to our sight seeing tour of Dublin.
If you are lucky enough to get Tony McGuinness, you’re onto a winning day!

Finn made the entire trip so fun and informative, I wouldn’t remember a lot of it without his energy when telling us about the history of the pitstops. Francis scared me three times without hesitation and took care of us all throughout. I would recommend this tour to anybody!

The driver Gareth was outstanding.
His knowledge and dialogue brings us back each year. He makes the whole experience first class and can'recommend this bus tour 10/10 if he is on board
