Good information and very basic concepts of learning and how to train my pet.

Before working with my trainer Debra Elliot, my dog struggled with leash reactivity and basic obedience. Thanks to her patients and knowledgeable approach using positive reinforcement, my dog is now calmer and more responsive. Debra also taught me how to be a better handler. I highly recommend Debra Elliot to anyone looking for effective, kind and professional dog training.

We enrolled our chaotic boys in online training today. We are very hopeful about their futures, especially with knowledge of the Forever Framework. We feel comfortable that they are in good hands. Thanks for the help Brittany!

I have a very well-behaved dog, but there are definitely things that I learned doing this course that are so valuable for keeping him safe in public. We really enjoyed all the challenges together.

Everyone being so nice and flexible

My mother believes she has a trained service dog based on her so-called certification, which is not legally binding in any way shape or form. Her dog can do none of the things the congratulatory letter states. The letter states that he is now a "certified psychiatric support animal". I'm not sure what proof is required for this certification, but he doesn't know basic commands, let alone retrieval of needed items, deep compression therapy, or orbit around her in a crowded space. He is not fully housebroken either. She now thinks she can fly with her dog based on this letter and trying to convince her otherwise is impossible. She now sets herself up for federal legal issues. You may offer legit services for supporting people with training, but sending out letters to animals that may exhibit behaviors in a quick video is not indicative of a true service animal and is a disservice to those that have properly trained animals.

I haven’t had any training yet but I would love to leave a big shoutout to Brittney. Me and my girlfriend spoke with Brittney this morning and she explained everything so well to us. She was really the first person I’ve spoke to that dint just say “we are going to send u an email and it will explain everything”. Brittney was absolutely amazing and answered all our questions that we had and helped us a lot. Super excited and confident about training come up all thanks to Brittney!!

Excellent academy, with clear instructions on how to do the training to turn your pet into a service dog, very supported and guided by the team.

So I did a contract for unlimited training. After six weeks the trainer showed up three times and called in twice. There was no improvement in my labs training at all.
When I asked for my money back they refused. They failed to provide service in accordance with the contract but wanted the money anyway 1300.00.
This is the second dog trainer who has scammed me. Beware of these guys and the only training was for the owner who learned the hard and expensive way.

I had one of the worst experiences imaginable with Dog Academy, and I feel obligated to warn other pet owners before they go through what I did. I paid for their training program and was told a trainer would come within a few days. The first trainer never showed up not once and still marked every session as “completed”, which is not only unprofessional but blatantly dishonest. I had to contact Dog Academy myself to report that their trainer was claiming to complete sessions he never attended. Instead of taking responsibility, they simply assigned me a second trainer to “make up for it.”

Unfortunately, the second trainer was just as disappointing. His entire method consisted of giving my dog treat after treat every couple of seconds. By the time he left, my puppy had eaten so much that he became violently ill. My dog ended up vomiting nonstop and required a vet visit because he was so sick from the excessive treats. My veterinarian explained that this type of training actually increases anxiety, especially for dogs that already have separation anxiety which is the exact issue Dog Academy claimed they could fix. Instead of seeing any progress, my dog’s anxiety got worse, and the experience set us back even further.

Dog Academy also advertises a refund if the sessions do not work. I spoke with their manager, Hunter, who refused to help, refused to honor the guarantee, and offered nothing but excuses. Instead of taking accountability, they tried to “make it right” by offering me a third trainer, which I should not have to deal with after two terrible experiences one trainer who lied and never showed up, and another who made my dog sick.

This is the worse company I've ever encountered... their methods are not consistent. You will have an extremely hard time finding a trainer because they won't pay them

My trainer was very helpful and explain things well.

I learned a lot about about my pup tail wagging it mad it a better understanding on why she wags her tail.
Overall experience was great
