Exceptional
Exceptional . We had a recent visit to Double tree Hilton in Elstree the experience is what you come to expect from a Hilton . The standards were exceptional. We only had a flying visit using the hotel as a base for entertainment in London . Everything from check in to check out was smooth uncomplicated and well organised . Communication was excellent. Specific mention for Valentina on the evening service desk . Even though a few guests were attending the same event and returned to the hotel at approximately the same time her customer service was amazing made sure everybody was dealt with professional and made sure everybody felt attended to like a personal service .
Dirty, Noisy and Rude
We booked the Double Tree for a stay in Lincoln while I competed in a sporting event. My team stayed at the Holiday Inn next door but we thought we’d pay a bit extra for the comfort.
We booked 2 night in a twin superior room. The hotel was pretty booked up but we hoped to upgrade once we arrived.
Upon arrival we parked at a local car park and walked round. We asked about parking but the hotel staff recommended the place we were already parked (then proceeded to charge us for parking anyway).
We asked about getting an upgrade but as there was a wedding booked there wasn’t any available (fair enough). We arrived at about 2pm so they set about finding us a room.
The room seemed fine, a bit basic for the price but I’m not a fussy person.
We went out for food and arrived back at about 10pm to get some rest before my event.
As we walked down the corridor towards our room (3rd floor) there was increasingly loud music. The music was even louder once we got into our room. They had mentioned there was a wedding party. They had, however, failed to mention the wedding party was above our room.
The bass was so loud that the walls and ceiling of our room shook. Now, we’re both laid back people so we tried watching some tv, but the music was so loud we couldn’t hear over it. There was no chance of sleeping through it.
We went down to speak to the manager, he was apologetic, said we should have been told and that the music would finish at 12 (which wasn’t ideal).
We walked around a while and came back about 12 at which time the music stopped, there was still some noise while they cleared up but by about 12:30 it was okay.
In the morning we went to see the manager. We were told by the night manager that he would inform them of the situation and they would resolve in the morning.
Perhaps unsurprising the day manager had no idea about the situation. She was quick to offer us a small refund. We were supposed to stay another night but as she was offering us free parking (this is where we realised they’d charged us), free breakfast (to share with the wedding revellers) and a slight discount off our second night.
We didn’t want to stay another night, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve travelled widely.
Anyway they refunded us, as we were heading out my phone buzzed. Doubletree had charged an extra £60 to my account.
We went back to ask and they claimed they overrefunded me, then charged the difference.
The thing is, the charge came out immediately, The refund came in several days late and, perhaps unsurprisingly was half the amount promised.
Also, I’m not fussy but there was blood stains on the sheets and faeces stains on one of the towels.

I've recently stayed at The Hilton Coventry, following a wedding I was attending.
I would highly recommend this hotel,and its facilities, a special mention must be for the excellent customer service skills of Preeti Sinha,she possesses above average people skills which often go unnoticed.
Whatever the Hilton pays her,I would strongly suggest it probably isnt enough.
It is because of Preeti,I wouldn't hesitate to return to the Hilton Double tree Coventry in a heartbeat.

Only giving one star as can't give any lower would have quite easily given minus 10 on 21.08.2021... Fuming is a polite word for how we were treated by both hotels.com and doubletree by hilton.. back in June we received a email that wasn't quite right after we booked the hotel back in Nov 2020 for the Motorshow..So called both companies to be reliably informed the booking was guaranteed.. We got to the hotel on the 21.08.2021 to be informed by security that it was a covid hotel.. No apology was given by them or hotel management for us not being informed.. Tried calling hotels.com twice only to have the call ended after 30+ mins on hold.. The hilton were abit more helpful in that they told us they had already sent the refund over to hotels.com but were unable to help in securing a room locally for somewhere near the price we originally paid their closest was £175... we were not impressed as this was to be an anniversary treat.. Will not be using either company in the near future as total lack of communication by both parties ended up costing my husband an extra £200 that we didn't have thanks a bunch from a very disgruntled ex employee of the Hilton......

Diabolical hotel doubletree by Hilton in Milton Keynes a shame on your reputation.
We spent the whole night without any sleep due to a party going on in the next door room and several calls to the front desk at 1am and after a few hours they finally stopped and they had the nerve to call me in the morning and offer me only a 20% discount on the room! Total joke of a company! Even premier inn offer a good night sleep guaranteed.
Don’t go to this hotel. A complete waste of money and ruined our family break. I will never visit one of your hotels ever again.
We all feel very let down by your company and brand!! Do not bother going to this hotel. Very poor value for money and guest services are very poor.
Really disappointed - Bad Customer Service
Really disappointed with DoubleTree by Hilton St. Anne's Manor in Bracknell,they ruined my stay. When I booked over the phone and I asked if they have a jacuzzi and they said yes. I booked it. When we arrived I checked with the receptionist if I can use the jacuzzi and she told me I have to book. I booked it. When I finally got to the pool area - there was no water in the jacuzzi!!! It was out of order. I can't swim so using a jacuzzi was so important for me - if they told me it's out of order I would go elsewhere. When I complained, they blamed it on Covid19... I don't get that as their sauna is tiny (max 4 people) and that was still open. I got one email from their Customer Service team. Would not visit again.

Went down for breakfast this morning, over 50 tables empty but told full booked, ask where we could get breakfast and was told McDonald’s, then spoke to reception and was told Fridays does breakfast which they don’t. Was never told you need to book in for breakfast, even the online menu don’t say you have too. Staff no help or Knowledge
DoubleTree Ealing, lack of customer service
I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Ealing. I booked a queen sized, air conditioned, accessible room, with breakfast and dinner included for myself and husband.
I needed parking, but as this wasn't included in my original booking it would have to be paid separately at the hotel.
Emails: I've had countless emails both before and after my stay (like spam email). Before our stay: Upgrade requests (not able to do with an accessible room) After our stay: Review requests.
We were put on the 2nd floor, at the very end of the corridor. Not the easiest option for a wheelchair user, especially on thick carpet.
On booking and arrival we were not told the restaurant closes at 10pm. Our estimated time of check-in was between 8-10pm. Due to road closures, this was pushed to slightly later so we called ahead to let them know. Still nothing was mentioned.
Only when we attempted to order our food were we were told it was now too late and that the restaurant was now closed.Dinner & Breakfasts that are included can not be transferred across to room service. After some persuasion by my husband they let us have room service but kept the £5 charge.
W had a few issues with the room, these were an extremely noisy and temperamental A/C which didn't want to keep the room at 'normal' temperature. This gave us either a very cold noisy room, or a very hot stuffy room. The mini fridge win the room didn't work meaning all the food I had packed for lunches and travel now had to be binned.
Being at the end of the corridor also meant the breakfast room service order wasn't taken. This was put on our door in plenty of time, it was out at 11pm and the card stated it needed to be out by 2am. We waited past the time it was ordered for, yet nothing arrived. Reception finally answered the phone, and came up with the excuse of : 'someone looked down the corridor and didn't see anything on the door, so didn't think you had ordered Breakfast' this left us with only 10 minutes to get breakfast from the restaurant. That is just LAZY.
The restaurant had some absolutely fantastic food and drink, but it was very, VERY limited. Not a lot of choice.
Our server on the 2nd evening was brilliant. Very friendly, and went out of his way to help find something on the menu which would be suitable for me.
When checking out we had some issues, things which should have already been resolved
(this was a charge room service on the 1st night plus £5)
We paid for the carparking for the whole stay, which was Tuesday-Thursday (night-afternoon) and then double checked it was all correct before leaving.
Now I've received a £100 carparking fine, saying Wednesday-Thursday wasn't paid. I called the DoubleTree, gave my details and was told the manager would call me. 10days later still nothing, but still emails asking for reviews. I've called again to be told they have no details and that I need to send the ticket to them.
Very bad general customer service.
Wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights (7-9th July 2021) at Doubletree Greenwich and had a great stay.
The reception staff were very efficient, friendly and welcoming.
The room was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.
We will certainly stay there again when we go to London to visit family.

Have visited and stayed at the Double Tree in Cheltenham many times. Recently I had a long awaited spa pamper day.
Facilities very clean/ staff very accomadating & welcoming.
Special mentions to the new receptionist at the gym/ spa excellent customer communication skills and very helpfull.
Beverley my therapist on the day was amazing, full of product knowledge and provided a very relaxing facial & massage and would highly recommend.
Will be returning very soon.

Five day stay and cleaning of room not happening
I have just returned from five day stay at Hampton by Hilton Toffs Green York
We were told room was only clean if you requested it ,we asked for room to be done Wednesday nothing happened ,asked then Thursday and Friday,nothing happened again Thursday and both occasions when reported this was told to late to do anything .Friday had cleaner that just emptied bins,changed towels pulled duvet over not changing sheets that needed doing cup marks left on desk .My husband and I went away to have relaxing break ,I’m disabled and limited what I can do and my husband does most of household chores so going away is a break from doing this .I feel that this is not acceptable we payed for service that we did not receive so I would think twice before booking their hotels customer service as of yet can not be bothered to reply,COVID is not a excuse for this lack of service

Arrivati in albergo non sapevano niente inoltre la ragazza del reciption ha preso nota e mi ha detto che mi avrebbe avvisato a breve invece niente abbiamo dovuto mangiare fuori dal albergo per mancanza di comunicazioni fra lo staff del albergo!!
Sono deluso da questo pessimo servizio a 5 stelle!!!!!!!
Stay away double tree Sanderline rd
Stay away! I’m at Memphis doubletree by Hilton on Sanderline rd on a business trip and this place is horrendous. Looks like this place was really nice at one time but Hilton has really cheaped out here by not updating it and the staff looks cheap and talks cheap to the patrons. Not good. What happened here? How can the manager of this hotel be OK with door knobs falling off and filthy windows everywhere. The the lobby elevator window looking down into the lobby looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for years! Embarrassing! The staff looks like they’re the cheapest people Hilton could hire for this area! Missing most of the amenities in my room. Had to hunt down a maids cart which is behind an open door closet a which looks very unsightly and I had to walk in this dingy closet and find what I needed for my room! I will never come here again.
Doubletree Hilton Strathclyde
Took my mum to lunch today at Doubletree Hilton Strathclyde at Bellshill. It was her 90th Birthday. The members of staff Anne-Marie and Christy went out of their way to make my mum feel really welcome. It was only the second time she had been out in nearly 18 months and she had a really nice time. They were so helpful and even gave my mum a small cake which was a lovely touch. Thank you.

We went to the spa at the Hilton off Castle Street in Liverpool.
All the staff are lovely. Really friendly and welcoming. We both had a massage. Joanne was really good

I am really disgusted with the state of the room. The rooms looked immaculate online , but to surprise it was very dirty and I was told I can not have a bathroom because all room have showers but I have disability I have slipped and fallen in shower especially when it has no handles. When I telephoned the receptionist I overheard them say will have to charge her to upgrade her. Is it because I am black lady .
I want to cancel this booking but I was told I can’t . I don’t can sleep in this hotel at All
I need my refund back.
It ruined but weekend .. I had high hopes and looking forward to my stay all the from London .
