Good communication and efficiency and a clear report at the end.

I booked Drainsmart for a CCTV drainage survey at our property. They arrived with a basic screwdriver and, after a couple of feeble attempts at opening the manhole cover, gave up. The were on-site for less than 30 mins.

To my surprise, I am being asked to pay £150 for abortive charges which are entirely not my fault. The contracts manager prefers to lose my business (and dent their reputation) than waive the charges so I thought I should warn people about these guys. AVOID IF YOU CAN.

Nice guys came and did the CCTV drainage survey, came on time in and out within an hour, and report looks good.

Had a Blocked drain and called Drainsmart. They responded quickly, and it was a fair price. They arrived on time. The team was professional, and friendly, and got the job done efficiently. Highly recommend Drainsmart!! They were very helpful and managed to fix my drains without having to dig it all up, saving me time, money and a mess!!

After years of calling in various gutter cleaners and other companies to see about what appear to be a blocked downpipe that was causing internal damage to the house and hoping they would have a good look and suggest ideas for the problem, they merely cleaned a bit of mud and considered the issue solved. It wasn't, the problem always return.
I was hesitant to keep doing the same year after year. Then I drove by the office of Drain Smart and felt they seemed like the company I need for the issue. I then check them out on Google and book a visit.
Their approach was different. They were looking for a solution, checked the main drain on the first visit to quote. So I booked them.
Ed and Jack came to do the work a few days later. Very polite young men. They dug down to see where to flow went, if to drains or a soakaway, jet washed the main drain, which they called in another company to do, cut away the old rusty copper pipe and created a new opening for the water to flow. Hopefully better, as the where to the water flowed to was not fully established. It was left that this might work, see how it goes but a new soakaway system might be needed. I have confidence in Drain Smart that they would be back at moments notice to sort any issue. They were tidy and the ground was left looking undisturbed.

Drainsmart were excellent. First, there was the speed with which they arranged the appointment; I really didn't expect next day but they managed this. The team arrived within the time slot and were very nice to deal with. They then sorted the problem, showed me the cause and cleared up.

I'm so pleased with the service and would happily recommend them.

We were recommended Drainsmart by our surveyor when buying a new property and they have been excellent. Tony was generous with his time and advice and laid our options out very clearly for us. It turned out there was quite a lot to do and they have recently completed the first phase. I have to say they have been outstanding. The people who came to do the work were on time, professional, and did a great job. It was pouring with rain when they came, and despite that they cracked on and went to a huge amount of trouble to tidy up after themselves. They made sure we were happy before they left.

I can't comment on price as we didn't shop around as we were instantly impressed with their professionalism and they actually - correctly - challenged the advice given by the home vendors insurance appointed alternative. With things like this, it's really about peace of mind and that's what we got and we certainly feel like we got good value for money.

Drainsmart surveyed the drains on our victorian terrace in Peckham. Thay were great to deal with, providing good support and co ordination pre survey. Their surveyors arrived as scheduled, were polite and very helpful on the day, explaining what they found.

We did a drain survey on a house we were looking to buy. Initially the team only did a CCTV survey when we had also requested drain tracing - but they immediately went back free of charge and rectified the problem no hassle. The survey uncovered some issues with the pipe - Tony was then extremely helpful in spending time in talking through potential implications based on his significant experience. Would recommend to anyone.
