Having used Sheffords before to carry out a defect report, we didn’t hesitate in using them again to carry out a level 2 survey on a property we’re purchasing. The survey was carried out by Mr Treliving, within a few days of submitting our request and full report received less than a week later. Report was written in such a way that it was easily understood and items needing attention were clearly described and coded according to urgency.
We thoroughly recommend Sheffords where you can be sure you’ll receive a five star service.

Excellent service. I had a problem with some sinking in my front drive. Ed Trevliving from Sheffords visited, assessed the problem and provided an excellent report which has enabled me to address the issues found.

Sheffords carried out a house survey for us which found a few problems not picked up by our original survey when we bought the house. Thorough job and undoubtedly saved us £££ in the long run. Great Job!

I’m an architect, and needed some urgent, independent advice to resolve some water ingress issues occurring on site during the later stages of construction on my project. Ed helped immediately. He attended site on two occasions: to assess the issue privately, and then again to discuss possible solutions and resolutions with the contractor, client/myself. His experience, and his calm, yet authoritative approach was exactly what was needed to engage all parties to undertake a comprehensive and robust solution which would provide longevity with a mindful awareness of the design aesthetics needed to be maintained. Very helpful. Knowledgeable about area. Quick to reply to queries before & after the survey. We didn't use method of using cheapest quote on search engines as we feel it is important to use local surveyors. Would highly recommend Sheffords.

Received an excellent service from Sheffords. The survey (level 3) was conducted quite soon after I had booked and was very thorough with pictures making clear what the issues were with the property that I should be aware of. Would definitely recommend.

All aspects were OK except extent of survey was excessive for what I required for a 1 bed ground floor leasehold flat. I suspect this was to try to justify a high cost.
